The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week). Please note you will need to be based in East London or Essex for this role.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.
   

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.
   

• Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.
   

• Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.
   

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.
   

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

• £37,306 per annum (Grade B), plus commission and car allowance.

About the role

This is your chance to make your mark as Design and Brand Manager at the Francis Crick Institute one of the world’s most iconic biomedical research centres, home to over 1,500 leading scientists and a large public gallery space with a rolling programme of exhibitions and events.

For 12 months, you’ll be the creative heartbeat of our Digital and Creative team, setting the standard for design excellence across everything from public exhibitions and scientific reports to internal signage and branded campaigns.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that sits at the creative core of the Crick’s communications. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to shape visual identities for flagship exhibitions and events, lead design projects for branded materials like brochures and reports, and create impactful internal signage and communications.

Central to the role is refreshing and rolling out our brand identity, ensuring it remains bold, relevant, and consistent across all touchpoints. You’ll manage our in-house studio, oversee science illustration and printing services, and build a trusted network of freelancers and agencies to expand our creative capacity. With a deep understanding of how to tailor design for diverse audiences, from scientific peers to the public, you’ll be the go-to expert for visual strategy and execution across the Crick.

The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in design and brand, with a creative flare and is able to identify and seize upon strategic opportunities. It would suit an experienced middleweight designer, ready to step up to a more senior role, or a senior designer looking to take on a new challenge.

What you will be doing

As a Design and Brand Manager at the Crick, you will:

• Produce on-brand, accessible and high-quality design and creative materials which meet the needs of the Crick’s varied audiences.

• Manage the Crick’s visual brand identity – including rolling out our newly refreshed brand identity – ensuring it stays fresh, relevant and consistent.

• Develop and implement internal processes for teams across the Crick.

• Manage design projects from concept to completion.

• Oversee the work of agencies and freelancers who are producing design and creative assets, from initial briefing to obtaining final sign-off.

• Produce and maintain a contact base of agencies and suppliers who can produce high-quality design work in accordance with our brand guidelines

• Be the Crick’s go-to for best practice in creativity and design, advising teams across the Crick with their creative output.

• Horizon scan for latest updates and innovations in design tools and practice in order to formulate and incorporate best-practice into our processes and templates.

• Continually evaluate our design and creative output, seeking out, absorbing and incorporating feedback into our outputs and processes.

About you

You will have:

• Demonstrable experience at middleweight or senior designer level – in-house, freelance or agency;*

• Strong understanding of design and brand principles – typography, colour, layout etc.

• A portfolio of original, engaging and creative ideas developed within a professional environment for successful brand design projects across various media that demonstrate an eye for detail, creativity and experience of art direction;*

• Demonstrable experience of managing, championing and maintaining a consistent brand identity within a professional environment;*

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;

• Experience of managing creative production workflows and sign-off processes;

• Expert skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator;*

• Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro;

Guidelines Manager
Contract: Fixed-term contract, 6 months
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience) 
Place of Work: BSH Headquarters, 100 White Lion Street, London, N1 9PF (hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours (normally 9am-5pm, with an hour unpaid for lunch)

The British Society for Haematology (BSH) is the largest UK multidisciplinary Haematology Society with over 3,000 members. Our activities include running education events and courses (including our flagship Annual Scientific Meeting held in April), producing guidelines, awarding grants, and raising the profile of haematology.

The role of the BSH Guidelines is to provide haematologists with up-to-date advice on the diagnosis and treatment of haematological disease and also on laboratory haematology practice, primarily by the production of evidence-based guidelines.

The co-ordination and commissioning of the required guidelines is carried out by 4 task forces, each responsible for a specialist area; blood transfusion, haemostasis & thrombosis, haemato-oncology and general haematology. It is also the responsibility of each task force group to ensure that guidelines are reviewed regularly and updated as appropriate on the BSH website. BSH Guidelines is overseen by an Executive Committee which consists of a Chair and Vice-Chair of BSH Guidelines and the Chairs of each of the four Task Forces.

Each Task Force will have between 10 - 15 guidelines in production or review at any one time, with an average of 2 - 3 being published each year (approximately 10 - 12 in total). The guidelines are written by nominated writing groups with members of the Task Force taking responsibility to ensure they are written to the correct standards and specification. The finished guidelines are usually published in the British Journal of Haematology and are made freely available on the BSH website. Each Task Force will meet 3 - 4 times a year to discuss the progress of the guidelines and any other pertinent business.

The Role

This is a six-month, full-time role to cover an extended period of staff absence. We are looking for someone to cover the role but we’re looking for someone who can do more than just maintain the status quo. We want a dynamic individual who will actively engage with the role, bring fresh ideas, and look for ways to develop and improve the work. The Service Manager will be responsible for the operations of one service in Berkshire (Slough) which supports one individual to live in his own home.

The customer has been living successfully in his current placement for over ten years, where he benefits from the continuity of staff who know him well, understand his routines, and help him maintain a sense of safety and autonomy.

The role will provide line management for a team of seven Specialist Behaviour Support Workers, ensuring that compliance with organisational, legal regulations and those of the local authority are adhered to and the quality of support is of the highest standard possible, ensuring excellent quality of life for the customer and a good working environment for colleagues.

The service has received a CQC rating of Good. The current team size includes 5 FTEs (Specialist Behaviour Support Workers) plus 2 FTEs Waking Night Support Workers, ensuring comprehensive support coverage across all shifts.

The working pattern for this role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional requirements for weekend and out-of-hours work to meet service needs.

Job Purpose:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Family Centre provision to support families with children and young people aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs) that are identified as the most need of support or have emerging needs.

Main Responsibilities:

•  Management of the implementation of the Surrey County Council Families First specification for Family Centres and Family Resilience Support provision.
•  To monitor the Manager’s in-tray, triage referrals, ensure contact with families providing management oversight and comply with all elements of Early Help Module (EHM) Practice standards for Child Records – Family Centres and Family Support Programme guidance.
•  With the Family and Youth Manager to devise and review the service delivery plan including emerging needs groups and partnership working with HomeStart East Surrey and other agencies.
•  Use Tableau data and Outcome tools to plan service delivery.
•  Show evidence of the impact of the support that is provided and record this on Early Help Management System (EHM), Outcome Stars and other systems as appropriate.
• Work with the Head of Finance, Head of CYP and the Youth & Family Service Manager to manage the budgets of the Family Centre and consider other sources of revenue.
• Manage Senior / Family Support Workers, Admin and other associated staff within the Family Centre and Family Support provision providing regular line management supervision, annual appraisals, and case supervisions.

What will I be doing?

• Create a powerful alliance of Corporate Partners to influence science strategies and investment in areas such as advanced sensing, photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, renewable energy, autonomous systems and medtech

JOB PURPOSE
This role is based in the Finance Team and works closely with the Resource Mobilisation and Programme teams. About the role

As Support Services Manager you will support the Lead Myeloma Information Specialist, the Peer Service Co-ordinator and Support Group Co-ordinator to deliver their respective services.  In addition, you will deliver personalised, empathetic, and accessible information and support to service users affected by myeloma and its related conditions (such as AL amyloidosis, smouldering myeloma, and MGUS).

You will need to work towards being an internal expert on myeloma, keeping aware of research and clinical developments, current opinions, guidelines and other initiatives in the field of myeloma and related conditions, including the pipeline of myeloma drugs.

As part of the role, you will monitor impact and ensure all services are running in accordance with Service Guidelines, including leading the submission to the Helplines Partnership for re-accreditation as required.
