Job description

Home-based, with some central London office time expected from autumn 2021 (amount to be agreed)

Nine out of ten physiotherapists in the UK choose to be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. We aim to put our members at the heart of a thriving physiotherapy community that helps to transform the health and wellbeing of the nation. Our digital channels are central to this, and we want everyone who uses them to have a rewarding experience.

To bring effectiveness and simplicity to a complex digital world, we need an experienced digital manager to join our team. You will play a lead role in the growth of our digital marketing, communications and engagement capabilities, while managing operations across our main digital channels.

To succeed in the role, you will need:

  • a well-developed set of practical digital skills, from audience acquisition and user experience to technical management and content development.
  • to be passionate about continuous improvement and confident to lead change.
  • to have a thirst for data and insight and know how to use them to make the most impact.
  • to be driven by developing people and getting the best from your team.

While you’re helping us build our capability, we want you to grow in the role, and will encourage and support you to keep developing. We are a values-driven organisation and have a strong commitment to equity, diversity and belonging for our staff and our members.

We expect the digital team manager to play a leadership role at the CSP, as an advocate for digital best practice, and as part of a number of cross-organisational teams, working together to pursue our strategic and cultural goals.

Our values

At the CSP our goal is to create a culture which is characterised by innovation, respect, encouragement, passion and teamwork.  We all strive for continuous improvement and to be the best at everything we do. We aspire to work in a way that embodies our values of learning, courage, inclusive and integrity. Our shared values are part of our organisational DNA and reflect the expectations we have of ourselves and others. They guide what we do and how we do it to have the greatest impact for our members.
