We are looking for a Programmes and Finance Officer to play a key role in supporting the financial management and oversight of DEC appeals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for humanitarian work to contribute to DEC funded emergency responses.
You will provide financial analysis, ensure compliance with policies, and produce high-quality reporting to support decision-making and accountability to stakeholders. Ideally, you should be detail-oriented, have excellent financial skills and have an appetite to learn & shape individual and team efficiencies. You must be able to communicate confidently across diverse groups and be genuinely interested in the humanitarian sector.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines financial expertise with strong analytical skills and a commitment to humanitarian work. You must be experienced in analysing financial data, budgets and reports and have strong Excel and data analysis/visualisation skills (e.g. Tableau, Power BI desirable). You should have excellent attention to detail and an ability to present complex information clearly.
You should demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Ideally, you should have interest or have experience in the humanitarian or international NGO sector.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop tools to collect and analyse financial and operational data from member charities.
· Support the development of appeal documentation and reporting templates.
· Help produce data analysis and insights for appeal launches.
· Review budgets and financial reports from member charities.
· Aggregate and analyse financial data, identifying trends and variances.
· Ensure compliance with DEC policies and financial standards.

Summary Purpose - what you will be achieving:
The Policy Directorate brings together the Academy’s policy, analysis and external affairs functions to address major science and health policy issues in the UK and internationally. The Directorate works as a single, coordinated team, focusing resources on priority areas, applying strategic approaches, generating high-quality evidence and insights, and engaging effectively with government, stakeholders and partners to inform decision-making and influence policy.
You will lead and integrate the Academy’s external affairs function—spanning policy influence, parliamentary and government engagement, and sector engagement through FORUM—to strengthen our reach, visibility and impact.
By drawing on the Academy’s Fellowship, networks and reputation, you will ensure coherence across all external-facing policy activities and play a senior leadership role in delivering the Academy’s transformation priorities. - Lead and integrate policy engagement and relationships to deliver a coherent external affairs strategy.

- Position the Academy as an authoritative voice on medical science, policy priorities and the wider health system.
- Build and sustain high-level influencing relationships across parliament and political parties, national bodies, arm’s-length agencies, health systems and sector leaders.
FORUM and commercial
- Oversee and evolve the Academy’s FORUM to align with policy priorities and maximise its impact as a neutral, cross-sector convening space exploring scientific innovation, technological trends and strategic priorities shaping UK healthcare.
- Lead the transformation of FORUM into a leading UK convenor, including membership growth, securing contributions from organisations, and delivering at least six high-quality convenings per year.
- Contribute to income-generating initiatives within approved budgets and ensure external-facing activities support organisational sustainability.
Leadership within the organisation
- As a member of the Academy Leadership Team (Heads and Directors), contribute to organisational strategy, cultural development and the transformation programme.
- Provide senior leadership on organisational measurement, impact reporting and securing external funding.
Financial and governance responsibilities

Position Summary
The Head of Fundraising will lead GSG Impact’s fundraising function at a critical stage of organisational growth and income diversification. Key Responsibilities
Business development, Prospecting and Pipeline Conversion
Build and maintain a prioritized list of top institutional, philanthropic, bilateral, multilateral, DFI, corporate, and family-office, and high-net-worth prospects aligned with GSG Impact's strategic priorities.
Proactively identify, research, qualify, and cultivate new prospects, with a particular focus on funders aligned with impact economies, domestic capital mobilisation, climate adaptation and resilience, impact transparency, policy reform, investment vehicles, and emerging markets.

Qualifications
Demonstrable track record of originating new donor relationships and converting them into six- or seven-figure grants.
Experience in building prospect pipelines from a limited starting base.

The Institut français du Royaume-Uni is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Patrons’ Circle & Sponsorship Activation to lead the development of its patron engagement programmes and sponsorship (in-kind) activation strategy across the Institut’s major cultural events and flagship seasons.

About the role
Reporting in to the Partnership and Business Development Lead, the Government, Multilateral and Climate Funding Manager is responsible for driving sustained growth in income and impact outcomes by actively engaging and cultivating strong relationships with existing and new institutional and climate funding partners.
The role co-creates and leads bidding with MCCs and Global Programmes teams, securing multi-year, multi-million government, multilateral, and climate funding awards.
The post-holder will co-lead and deliver the government, multilateral and climate funding strategy, positioning Christian Aid and its partners to access and scale climate finance, including adaptation, resilience, loss and damage, and nature-based solutions funding.
The role ensures a strong long-term pipeline of funding opportunities, aligned to organisational priorities and climate justice commitments, maximising both income and programme impact.
Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Government, Multilateral and Climate Funding Manager include:
- Working with the Partnerships and Business Development Lead and Heads of Impact to implement an ambitious long-term strategic framework to enhance engagement and build strong partnerships with Government, Multilateral and Climate Funding Partners (including Global Climate Funds such as the Green Climate Fund and Adaptation Fund, UN agencies, World Bank climate windows, Regional Development Banks, and bilateral donors including UK and devolved Governments, European and other Governments), setting clear objectives and key areas for collaboration, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and climate justice priorities.
- Acquire, develop and retain key Government, Multilateral and Climate Funder relationships and strategic partnerships by building a wide network of contacts across Government Departments, development finance institutions, and climate finance mechanisms, ensuring sustained engagement and strong positioning over time.
- Build and maintain a forward-looking, multi-year pipeline of institutional and climate funding opportunities, identifying emerging climate finance trends and positioning Christian Aid to access strategic funding, collaborating closely with CA Ireland and global teams to maximise funding growth.
- Oversee agreed Supplier Framework Agreements, including those linked to climate and environment programming, working with MCC Business Development Managers in taking forward pipeline opportunities.
- Collaborate across the Partnerships and Business Development Team and MCC BD Team on tenders and grants, leading bid preparation and ensuring alignment with funding requirements, including integration of climate considerations and compliance with donor requirements (e.g. climate rationale, safeguards, and reporting).
- Collaborate with Impact colleagues to onboard new programmes, including those funded through climate finance mechanisms, working with MCC Contracts and Portfolio Managers to ensure readiness for delivery and compliance requirements.
- Develop and proactively pitch new strategic Signature Programmes, including climate-focused and climate-integrated programmes, in agreement with Directors and MCCs.
- Strengthen internal capability by supporting colleagues to integrate climate considerations into programme design and funding approaches, sharing knowledge and best practice on climate funding requirements.

About the role
The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for independently managing a mixed portfolio of humanitarian and/or development programmes, including some of CARE International UK’s most complex and high-value projects. The role leads on programme oversight across the full project lifecycle, from contracting and start-up through to delivery, reporting, and close-out, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and risk management.
The role involves close collaboration with country offices, partners, and internal teams, including Programme Finance, Programme Funding, and technical advisers, as well as acting as a senior interface with donors. The portfolio will likely include grants as well as commercial contracts and may include corporate partnerships in addition to institutional donors.
Key skills and abilities required include strong programme and financial management capability, excellent donor and stakeholder relationship management, the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities, and confidence working independently while escalating risks appropriately. The role requires sound judgement and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

This Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & Foundations) role will be responsible for securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts working in partnership with senior stakeholders of the University. They will use their fundraising experience and communication skills to secure philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5mil level from Trusts & Foundations (T&Fs), working in partnership with senior stakeholders on their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s College London.
The postholder will help to enable the University to deliver world-leading research, education, and societal impact, translating complex academic priorities into compelling funding opportunities for T&Fs in the UK and internationally. They will be part of a team playing a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropy income, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.
The successful candidate will lead on cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of high value T&F prospects and donors, developing long term, strategic relationships that result in philanthropic gifts. Working in close partnership with senior academic and clinical leaders, you will shape and articulate funding propositions that resonate with philanthropic partners and align with King’s institutional and campaign priorities.
Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new prospects; developing engagement plans; leading on the development of funding proposals; and stewardship of existing donors. This role will suit candidates with experience in raising five and six figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively manage a portfolio of T&F prospects (£50,000+ gift capacity) on behalf of the University

The Foundation for Jewish Heritage is the UK’s only dedicated organisation focused on preserving and activating Jewish built heritage as a catalyst for education, culture, memory and community renewal.
Over the past decade, the Foundation has grown from a small specialist charity into a recognised leader in the field of Jewish built heritage. It has secured major support for nationally significant projects, including a £6 million flagship heritage project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Welsh Government, Garfield Weston, Wolfson and Rothschild.
The Foundation is now entering an important new phase. Alongside major project delivery, it is taking on a wider UK role, supporting communities and historic synagogues across the country, including places such as Liverpool, Bradford, Leicester, Brighton and Merthyr Tydfil. It is also developing European partnerships, particularly in countries such as Poland and Germany, and strengthening relationships with North American and Canadian supporters.
The Foundation’s work is about more than saving buildings. Historic synagogues and heritage sites are gateways into the stories of Jewish life, identity, migration, civic contribution and cultural memory. They offer a powerful way of engaging Jewish and wider audiences with the richness and complexity of Jewish history in Britain and across Europe.
The Foundation has reached a point where its fundraising structure needs to match the scale of its ambition.
Until now, much of the fundraising has been led directly by the Chief Executive, supported by trustees, consultants and external bid writers. This has delivered significant success, particularly around major heritage projects and institutional funders. THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Fundraising Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract.
Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and the Senior Fundraising Lead, you will ensure our high-value corporate partnerships run smoothly, our high-net-worth events are a success and our external pitches are sharp and well-researched.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and opportunity generation
- Support the team by researching and keeping abreast of new funding opportunities across trusts, foundations, and corporate prospects.

Funding applications and pitch support

- Events and logistics: Experience helping to coordinate events (virtual or in-person), including handling bookings and catering.
- Coordination experience: Experience in a support, coordination, or customer-facing role within a charity, sales, or account management environment.
