Purpose of Job
· To coach, lead and manage a team of volunteers

KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities, this includes a track record of securing new bids and/or retaining existing contracts

- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, experience in Microsoft, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to travel and attend market engagement events and to visit services to gain greater understanding of what SIG offers and to inform teams of relevant tender responses

About the Role:
As our diligent and tenacious Internal Auditor, you will deliver an agreed programme of audits across WaterAid and its partner organisations and other ad hoc work and investigations as necessary. This may include delivering programme design, training and producing toolkits and resources, and developing evaluation frameworks. You will work with local partners on all aspects of programme delivery, from project implementation, review, monitoring and evaluation and budget management.
You will have extensive experience of supporting organisations to deliver safe and impactful programmes, with a good understanding of skills development programmes, especially in relation to employability, entrepreneurship and education. This will be coupled with significant experience of working in Sub-Saharan Africa. Are you passionate about equitable society for blind and partially sighted people? We are seeking a creative and experienced Communications Manager to lead corporate communications for Thomas Pocklington Trust. This will include external relations for education, employment and internships and supporting stakeholder relationships with key partners inside and outside the VI sector. The postholder will lead on internal communications and play a pivotal role in increasing the impact of TPT’s work across its core strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will:
· 3 years demonstrable experience working within a successful communications team at a similar level.
· Experience of developing and implementing a corporate communications strategy, including monitoring and reporting.
· Experience of working with national and regional media on high profile public relations campaigns including policy and campaigning issues and consumer activities as well as general public awareness and engagement campaigns.
· Experienced people manager
