About the Role

This is a unique role that connects Learning and Development (L&D) with Recruitment to ensure the College attracts, recruits and develops the right talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.  

As a key member of the People and Culture Team, you will lead on shaping and delivering the College’s L&D framework and initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, promoting inclusivity in recruitment and ensuring talent is identified, supported, and nurtured.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and designing, developing, and delivering learning interventions that build organisational capability and resilience. About You

 You are a dynamic and versatile L&D professional, who is passionate about people development and recruitment. You will bring a blend of L&D expertise and recruitment experience, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.

You will have proven experience in designing and delivering innovative training programmes, including leadership and management development, and be confident in using digital learning tools and eLearning platforms. Alongside this, you will have managed end-to-end recruitment processes and understand how to embed inclusive and equitable practices throughout.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will work closely with managers and stakeholders across the College. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and bring a creative, solutions-focused approach to everything you do.

About the role

The Impact and Learning Consultant will play a central role in advancing how the Vitol Foundation understands, measures and deepens its impact. They will build on existing frameworks, tools and processes developed by our Head of Impact, Learning and Strategy who is due to go on maternity leave, as well as bring their own expertise to further strengthen our approach to impact and learning, embedding it into our day-to-day decisions. As our lead expert in this area, the Consultant will ensure that our strategy and grantmaking are guided by emerging data and evidence, and support continuous learning across all our work.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the field of measurement and evaluation, combining strategic leadership experience with strong hands-on technical skills to support Foundation colleagues and nonprofit partners. They will have experience with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods and working in global settings, especially to support local partners operating in low-resource and/or emergency environments. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights tailored to different audiences, including Vitol Foundation colleagues, our board and non-technical external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Impact measurement and reporting

• Continue rollout of the foundation‑level impact framework across our grant portfolio, making ongoing adjustments and clarifications as it’s being road-tested with a growing number of grantees.
• Design and refine grant‑level impact measures. Develop impact indicators for new grants and review existing ones, working closely with programme managers and partners to ensure alignment with project goals, partner capacity and the foundation‑level impact framework.
• Review and strengthen data quality of incoming partner reports to ensure that progress is meaningfully captured through quantitative and qualitative indicators. Check for clarity, completeness, consistency and data quality, and provide feedback or make revisions as needed.
• Support uptake and adjustments to our impact dashboards in Salesforce to ensure clarity and usefulness for Foundation colleagues. Work with the Operations Manager and external developers to implement changes where needed.

Learning and strategy implementation

• Regularly synthesise and share lessons learned from across our grant portfolio as well as from the wider international development sector. Highlight emerging data, evidence and findings, and their implications for the Foundation’s strategy and grants.
• Conduct rapid evidence reviews to inform sector‑level strategies and individual grants as they are developed or revised. Work closely with programme leads and partners to ensure emerging evidence is reflected in design and implementation, and to identify ways to build credible evidence to strengthen the impact of our grants.
• Serve as a technical expert for externally-led evaluations of our grants, including reviewing research protocols, data collection tools, analysis plans, and consent and safeguarding processes. Note: evaluations will be commissioned by external parties, this role will not manage evaluation contracts or teams.

Internal and external communications

• Draw out insights from impact data, other programme documents and external sources to inform management and board reporting, including regular tracking of portfolio‑level outcomes, key trends and lessons learned.
• Work with the Head of Communications to draft content for internal and external audiences, using relevant data and statistics and creating compelling visualisations that reinforce key messages.
   

Qualifications

Essential

• Educational background: Advanced degree in a relevant field (for example, public policy, global development, business administration).
• Professional experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in impact measurement, strategic learning, or programme evaluation in philanthropy, non-profits or social impact sectors.
• Analytical rigour and insight: Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex data and strategic insights; proven record of shaping high-level organisational strategies.
• Facilitation and communication: Strong skills in facilitating discussions, presenting insights to senior leadership, and translating complex data into accessible, strategic information.
• Project management and adaptability: Track record of managing complex research and evaluation projects with multiple stakeholders; able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Familiarity with using Salesforce as a grant management system.

The MSF UK Digital Team is made up of 10 specialist staff who act as an internal agency and provide expertise, project management, training and support to all other departments. We are part of a global network of Digital specialists within MSF which shares knowledge, expertise and best practice, coordinated by the International Digital Engagement Unit based in the International Office in Geneva. 

The International Legal Department (ILD) of MSF is currently the only intersectional department of MSF. About you

As our Face-to-Face Acquisition Manager, you will set the standard for brilliant, effective fundraising putting our supporters are at the heart of everything we do. Working with the Senior Manager and Direct Engagement team you will take the lead, bringing both fundraising and operational expertise to deliver strong data driven campaigns, ensuring its success day to day. 

In this role, you will:

• Manage the team to drive the success of our face-to-face agency program, meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets through effective management of stakeholders.
• Manage budget allocation and optimisation across channels, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently.
• Lead the implementation of compliance and safeguarding programs, maintaining the highest standards.
• Support delivery of our innovative fundraiser engagement program, optimising performance and motivation.
• Utilize data-driven insights to adapt campaign delivery and drive continuous improvement ensuring supporter insight and data analysis play a pivotal role in decisions.
• Build strong relationships with agencies through direct engagement and site visits, ensuring transparency and excellence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional results.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Experience of managing the delivery of end-to-end face-to-face fundraising activity.
• Experience of task managing a team to deliver results.
• An in-depth understanding of the F2F landscape and different agency models.
• Experience of designing and delivering exceptional training to drive engagement.
• Knowledge and experience of the compliance environment for charity marketing.
• Experience of managing budgets.
• Ability to analyse, interpret & explain results with a focus and drive on results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ways of Working

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK. However, for this role, you will be required to work from our Farringdon Office- London 1 day a week, some weeks this might be slightly more, some weeks could be slightly less Please note that travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense. The role requires you to regularly visit teams throughout the UK, costs of which will be covered by SCUK.

About the role

Join Macmillan Cancer Support as a Senior External Affairs Adviser, where you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering impactful change propositions and external affairs strategies across the UK. Your work will focus on delivering at-scale change for people with cancer, particularly the most marginalised groups. 

Key responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level advice to develop external affairs strategies aligned with Macmillan’s mission. 
• Lead cross-functional external affairs projects that are evidence-based and impactful. 
• Develop and manage relationships with political stakeholders, policymakers, civil servants and healthcare providers. 
• Provide high-quality insight and briefings to senior colleagues on the political landscape, and what the external opportunities and risks are. 
• Anticipate shifts within the external environment and adapt approaches to maintain our relevance and influence. 
• Collaborate with teams to ensure policy positions are strategic and evidence-based. 
• Represent Macmillan at external events, advocating for improvements in cancer care. 
• Coordinate campaigns to influence public policy and funding decisions. 

About you 

The successful candidate will have... 

• Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive external contexts, making sound judgements on tone and messaging. 
• Strong understanding of operating within a four-nations context and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including senior politicians and civil servants.
• Expertise in analysing complex policy issues and developing impactful, evidence-based policy positions. 
• Strong organisational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and emerging issues. 
• Excellent communication skills which are adaptable for external and internal audiences.

About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are now recruiting a Team Lead for our Connect to Work IPS service across Kingston and Sutton. This is an opportunity to help shape high-quality IPS delivery and support a team to achieve strong, meaningful outcomes for clients.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, you would be leading a team of six Employment Specialists, providing day-to-day direction, supervision, and practical guidance to ensure excellent IPS practice. You would offer regular one-to-one supervision, in-field mentoring, training, and caseload management support. Your leadership would help the team deliver consistent quality and outcomes across the service.

You would work closely with clinical team leads, contract commissioners, and health partners, maintaining strong and positive relationships to support collaborative, client-led work. You would also contribute to improving performance by identifying challenges, supporting solutions, and modelling excellent IPS practice.

Data analysis and monthly reporting would form part of your responsibilities, ensuring that performance information is accurate, meaningful, and useful. You would work alongside the Operations Manager to monitor progress, address areas for improvement, and maintain high IPS fidelity. While the Operations Manager leads on quarterly reporting, your support and insight would be essential.

Although this is a busy and varied role, you would not be working alone. You would be supported by the Operations Manager and the wider Head Office team, with access to training, guidance, and practical help to enable you and your team to succeed.

What you’ll need

You do not need previous team management experience. Instead, we are looking for:

• Experience as an Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist.

• A proven track record of achieving strong performance in outcomes and quality.

• Confidence demonstrating IPS principles and modelling good practice.

• Experience improving performance or supporting change, whether individually or across a team.

• Advantageous (but not essential): involvement in an IPS fidelity review.

Candidates should clearly outline how they meet the person specification in their personal statement.
