- Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage and plan current and future workload to ensure the team meets deadlines, provides an exceptional service and reaches service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop comprehensive and presentable reports to support data-led decision making, renewals tracking, KPI targets or to provide insights.
- Management of budget lines assigned to operational activities to ensure favourable terms are achieved.

About You

About the Role
As Senior Stewardship and Events Manager, you will be leading on the creation of ambitious funding propositions which will be attractive to high value donors and funders, working with key stakeholders from across the organisation to fully understand our existing services and transformational projects; translating complex information into compelling cases for support to be used by our High Value Partnerships team in funding applications, pitches and proposals. You will work closely with Recovery Services, Data and Insights and Finance teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered and reporting and evaluation processes are in place.
Working with your team and the wider High Value Partnerships team you will develop a special events programme to support engagement and fundraising, as well as leading on the development of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. About this role
The Digital Acquisition Officer is a key member of the Mass Engagement team and part of the wider Development team. The Mass Engagement team exists to raise awareness of Reprieve’s work, shift public opinion and to inspire support. Supporter Engagement is one of the most important teams that is central to the success of Alzheimer’s Society. The function of the team is to manage multi-channel communications with our supporters, both inbound and outbound. The team manage emails, telephone calls and social media interactions and is part of the wider Supporter Experience Department.
The team has a very bespoke tone of voice when managing the high volume of interactions but has the autonomy to manage their own workday within guidelines. The Community Fundraising Manager will be an integral part of a dynamic and unstoppable fundraising department.

Duties and key responsibilities
Community fundraising
- Manage and develop regional fundraising by devising a regional community fundraising strategy for income generation.
- Design and develop Sarcoma UK's calendar of annual community fundraising campaigns and events communication, including Cuppa and Cake.
- Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.
- Identify opportunities and recruit new community fundraisers, fundraising groups, corporate and school partners.
- Work with the Fundraising team to produce regular feedback reports and analysis on specific community products and overall revenue.
- Lead on promotion of community fundraising through digital marketing, PR, speaking engagements and on the ground fundraising.
Management
- Provide line management and day-to-day support to the Regional Fundraising Officer North, building their fundraising knowledge.
- Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for your areas of responsibility.
Income Generation
- Implement agreed KPIs, objectives and budget for the Regional Fundraising Team to drive support and engagement.
- Identify fundraising products, key accounts, and projects that will support income growth both locally and nationally.
- Responsible for monitoring and managing all income streams across all community fundraising lines including Gift Aid and working closely with the Operations Team.
Processes, administration, and reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporter records on Sarcoma UK’s database (Raiser’s Edge).
- Ensure all recording, and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
- Ensure necessary Community Fundraising policies are up to date.
- Follow Sarcoma UK’s processes and procedures including risk assessments to ensure a consistent approach and maintain a high level of support expected by our donors and fundraisers.
- Ensure that all activities are compliant with legislation governing fundraising including GDPR, health and safety, Institute of Fundraising, and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct.

- Support company and corporate partnerships that utilise community and trade fundraising.

General

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustrans Behaviour Change and Engagement Team as it looks to encourage those in Harlow and the surrounding area to walk, wheel, and cycle.
As an Active Travel Project Officer in Harlow and Gilston Town (HGGT), you will assist in the delivery of the behaviour change programme to schools, workplaces and community groups. The project will encourage and enable the community to travel sustainably and actively, through various initiatives, events and competitions.
