We’re recruiting an interim Head of Retention Marketing and Customer Journeys on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead a key transformation project.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the second-largest income stream at the BHF, from our existing donor base while delivering adoption of the Adobe marketing stack.

You’ll lead the adoption of  Adobe Campaign and CDP in the Retention and Customer Journey Team, coaching the team on developing data led strategies to inspire support from our customers to power lifesaving research, taking them on a cross channel journey to drive greater engagement with our cause and working with our Digital Teams to bring these journeys to life.

Managing income across our loyal regular giving base, our new lottery player base as well as our cash donor, raffle (Give Help) and retail, volunteering, event participant bases (Achieve Goals), your objective will be to grow income from our existing customer groups using cross sell, upsell and engagement communications to improve lifetime value, taking a customer centric approach.

This role is also key to to ensuring that our customers know where they can get help from the BHF, be it access to health content, to learn CPR or contact our Heart Helpline (Get Help).

Leading a talented below-the-line marketing team across our Give Help, Get Help and Achieve Goals objectives, you’ll also work closely with colleagues in our above-the-line teams to take an integrated approach to key comms moments.

About you

You’re a strategic marketing leader with a proven track record in customer retention, journey optimisation, and multi-channel growth. You’ve led teams through transformation, embedded new platforms, and delivered measurable impact.

You bring expertise in CRM, product marketing, and customer data strategy, with a passion for customer-centric marketing that drives engagement and long-term value. Experience with Adobe is ideal, but we would also value experience in platforms like Klaviyo, Bloomreach, Intuit (Mailchimp), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or HubSpot and an understanding of the capability they have to drive personalised marketing

You’ll also bring:

• Strong working knowledge of customer data, CRM, and product marketing, with experience developing retention and journey campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, and data-led channels.
• Proven success as a people manager, with a track record of delivering change, building high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth.
• Ability to foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders, and experience managing external agencies through complex CRM and below-the-line marketing projects.
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budget modelling and P&L management.
• Experience working with data science teams to uncover customer insights and translate them into actionable strategies—paired with excellent storytelling and briefing skills to deliver impactful, optimised campaigns.

Working arrangements 

This is 12-month fixed term contract covering family leave. Start date ideally in December 2025, although there can be some flexibility.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

The Psychologist/Psychotherapist will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions, providing psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic support to asylum seekers and refugees with complex trauma-related mental health needs. This role will focus on the delivery of trauma-informed care, including interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).

The psychologist/psychotherapist will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with caseworkers, assistant psychologists, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of psychological services into broader psycho-social support. A key responsibility is supporting and supervising assistant psychologists in the delivery of interventions, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and the service’s ethical standards.

The Eikon Charity helps children and young people in Surrey to feel and be safe, heard, and supported. Through one-to-one support, group work, and programmes in schools, Eikon helps children build confidence, resilience, and the skills they will need to navigate life’s challenges.

This is a senior fundraising role within Eikon’s Trusts & Grants team, focused on generating significant voluntary income from charitable trusts, foundations, and local government funders. With an overall team target of £1m, this postholder will contribute around £250k per year through a mix of high-quality applications, strategic account management, and relationship building.

The role requires both strong bid writing skills (especially for complex, high-value and multi-year proposals) and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and steward relationships with funders. It offers the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the team, deputise for the Grants Lead when needed, and help shape Eikon’s fundraising approach.

As Senior Trust Fundraiser, you will:

• Raise circa £250k annually from a mix of trusts, foundations, and local government grant funders (restricted and unrestricted)
• Lead on developing a portfolio of high-value, multi-year funders, cultivating new prospects and strengthening existing relationships
• Research, write, and submit compelling, tailored proposals and reports
• Work collaboratively with the Grants Lead on strategic bids (e.g. The National Lottery Community Fund, Community Foundation for Surrey)
• Develop an approach for growing unrestricted income
• Actively network across Surrey to identify new leads and opportunities
• Provide excellent account management through regular reporting, funder meetings, and creative stewardship (e.g. site visits, events)

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Proven track record in trusts and foundations fundraising (including complex, high-value proposals)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Legal Counsel to join our In-House Legal team at SNG for a fixed term contract for 1 year. You'll be working 27 hours a week reporting into one of our Senior Legal Counsels and working together with Legal Advisers and other Legal Counsels.

The role

You'll be responsible for your own caseload of legal cases as well as working with senior members of the team to partner with the business to resolve more complex legal cases and provide strategic input, including but not limited to:

• Managing legal processes for statutory Right to Acquire and statutory Preserved Right to Buy applications received by SNG. This includes all eligibility, drafting of all statutory notices and the entire conveyancing process.
• Carrying out legal work required for asset management of a shared ownership property portfolio including, acting for the landlord on staircasing of shared ownership leases; dealing with repossessions of shared ownership leases; acting on assignments of shared ownership leases – to include transfers of the superior title on 100% staircasing when required
• Advising on an extensive range of property matters involving leasehold estates, whether SNG is landlord or leaseholder, including service charge provisions and legislation, understanding the extent of obligations, tenancy breach, replies to enquiries, etc
• Carrying out legal reviews of title, planning, estate documents and leases to provide reports and advice on the above.

What we're looking for

You'll need previous experience in a similar legal role, with experience in legal matters relating to Property. We need you to have transactional experience but experience of portfolio asset management is desirable.  We will provide training on aspects of property law work that are less commonly carried out where you may not have dealt with previously eg Right to Buy/Acquire rules.

You'll also need:

• To hold a valid Practising Certificate (or equivalent) to ensure you can carry out Reserved Work as defined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as well as be responsible for the supervision of members of the team who are not qualified to undertake Reserved Work
• 2 years + PQE working within a law firm, in-house legal department, housing association or local authority and managing own legal caseload of similar cases
• Strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant law and substantial experience of drafting Transfers of Whole Part and residential leases
• Excellent planning skills with the ability to prioritise your work and able to meet the demands of statutory timescales
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop strong working relationships within the Legal team, with internal clients and other third-party stakeholders

The Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Officer is responsible for building deeper relationships with some of our most committed supporters. This is an exciting role with opportunities to further develop our expanding Gifts in Wills, in-memory and mid-value programs. It also has oversight of our multi-channel cash appeals program which sets out to generate income from our base of committed supporters.

The role is managed by the Individual Giving and Legacy Manager but will work closely with all of Public Fundraising alongside other key internal stakeholders. The Senior IG and Legacy Officer will also be responsible for fostering relationships with various external agency partners.

The role has line management responsibility for the Public Fundraising Admin Assistant, supporting them to flourish and develop in their role, and ensuring they’re able to fulfil important supporter care tasks for the Public Fundraising Team. Key internal relationships are the Research Team, Services team, the Comms and Marketing team, and the Philanthropy team.

Our five-year strategy sets an ambitious milestone that by 2028, more than 7 in 10 people will be diagnosed at stage 1 or 2. Right now, it's less than 4 in 10. • Leading the development of six to seven figure multiyear funding from trusts and foundations with a relationship led approach
• Managing and developing the Senior Trusts Officer to support the development of their portfolio of funders <£50k

HR and Operations Officer
Location: Hybrid – London Bridge office & remote working

Palliative care for children aged 0–18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes and other community settings. Acorns’ holistic, tailored approach is designed to meet each child’s clinical, emotional, cultural, religious, and spiritual needs.

Philanthropy at Acorns is at an exciting moment of growth. With strong foundations and warm networks already in place, the team is well positioned to elevate high-value fundraising. An upcoming appeal, major opportunities in capital and restricted giving, established relationships with influential philanthropists, and a proven track record with trusts and foundations all support ambitious, relationship-led fundraising.

This role offers a senior position within the fundraising leadership team, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to shape and expand Acorns’ work with major donors and trusts. You will inherit a capable team, a warm donor base, and strong organisational support to focus externally and drive long-term income growth. As Head of Philanthropy, you will:

• Oversee the pipeline for all philanthropic income streams, ensuring regular prospect research and systematic cultivation
• Co-canvass with the CEO and Director of Income Generation, who are both actively engaged in major donor stewardship
• Oversee the restricted income process, ensuring full cost recovery and compelling propositions
• Play a key role on the Care Committee and as part of the fundraising leadership team
• Lead on governance and processes for philanthropic boards and high-value appeals, including the upcoming appeal
• Represent Acorns externally, building credibility and long-term relationships with senior supporters and funders
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, retail and wider departments to maximise opportunities

We are looking for:

• Strong track record in major donor fundraising from HNWIs, ideally including six-figure gifts
• Trusts and foundations experience, including restricted income and bid processes
• Skills in pipeline management, with strong control of the cultivation cycle and ability to use CRM insight to drive action
• An excellent communicator, with the credibility to engage high-net-worth individuals and senior stakeholders
• A proven people manager, able to support and develop a small team while keeping the role externally focused
• Someone resilient and target-driven, who is able to sustain focus and momentum across long cultivation cycles
• A collaborative, strategic individual who is motivated by the opportunity to unlock transformational support for Acorns’ mission

Working arrangements: Hybrid, with 2 days per week rotating across hospice sites (Worcester, Walsall, Selly Oak) and potential for more based on business need, donor meetings etc.
