Earned media and PR is crucial to help Battersea build its visibility awareness, and relevance to new and existing audiences to support engagement with our strategic aims. We need a confident, dynamic and enthusiastic Press / Media Officer to help us drive visibility, affinity, and relevance amongst new and existing audiences. They will ensure Battersea maintains a high profile and strong, influential voice by working closely with the media and delivering quality proactive and reactive media activity that supports the charity’s strategic aims to help more animals. This role will focus on promoting the work Battersea is doing to help animals not just at our three centres, but also across the UK and overseas.
Responsibilities will include responding to press enquiries and working with production teams, as well as supporting the wider Marketing & Communications directorate on the delivery of integrated campaigns and PR plans that support our animal welfare campaigning (Our Voice), our brand platform ‘We’re all in for them’, our global programmes strategy, our income generation activity, and our sector and corporate partnerships.

About this role
The Communications and Content Officer is part of SPANA’s Communications and Campaigns team, responsible for creating high-quality content and delivering effective communications that support the charity’s mission. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing & Projects Coordinator to join our high-performing marketing function at Islamic Help. This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of project management, internal communications, and marketing delivery.
You will not be solely responsible for designing social media posts, editing videos, or running ad campaigns - we already have expert teams in place for that. However, you will be invited into those processes, with opportunities to observe, contribute, and grow. We are always open to ideas that improve our work, and there is definitely scope for development in this area of marketing over time.
The core of this role is to co-ordinate, connect, and communicate - ensuring that everything runs smoothly, projects are delivered on time, and the many moving parts of the marketing department stay aligned.
This role doesn’t require deep experience in marketing execution. At its heart, it’s a project management and stakeholder coordination position. However, it’s ideal for someone with an interest in marketing and communications who wants to gain exposure and experience across a full marketing ecosystem - including brand, paid media, video, SEO, digital infrastructure, and more - in a fast-paced, mission- and results-driven environment.

London Borough of Camden
This is an exciting opportunity for a Family and Volunteer Support Worker to deliver a volunteer support service for new parents and their families during the perinatal period across the London borough of Camden in the Parents Matter Perinatal Family Support Service.
This service provides a programme of support for pregnant women and new parents which includes volunteer face-to-face befriending in the home and community as well as support by phone and video. The aim of the programme is to increase the resilience and emotional wellbeing of new parents who are experiencing isolation and low-level mental health issues
The Family and Volunteer Support Worker will work closely with the Team Leader and other antenatal and perinatal Support Workers as well as in partnership with Children’s Centres/Family HUBS, midwifery, health teams and mental health services. You must be able and willing to travel regularly around London Borough of Camden.

Prostate Cancer UK are launching the most ambitious fundraising appeal in our history, and we’re looking for a brilliant Appeal Manager to help make it happen. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the campaign, working closely with the Head of Appeal to keep everything on track and running smoothly. You’ll coordinate plans, manage timelines and milestones, and help make sure everyone involved knows what’s happening and when.
You’ll drive forward the creation of campaign materials too, from website content and videos to newsletters and donor content. Your role will be to make sure everything’s consistent, high-quality and feels part of one powerful, inspiring appeal. You’ll also keep campaign plans, documents and resources organised and easy for everyone to access.

What we want from you
