About the Department/Role
Data Services is part of the Central Services of the Church of England, providing statistical information, analysis, research and consultancy. The team works collaboratively with the NCIs, dioceses and parishes collecting and assembling data to support the Church’s missional, pastoral and operational activities through high-quality information and analysis. This is used locally, at parish, diocesan and national levels, involving the Team in a wide range of customer contacts and interfaces
The Data Services Team works to promote data collection that is efficient and effective, producing high-quality services and deliverables geared to a varied range of customer needs. Within the Team, the Data and Analysis unit leads on carrying out data collection and analysis and establishing best practice for research and use of data. It acts as the professional centre of excellence to inform and assist operational and development work within the Team, the NCIs, and the wider Church of England.
What you'll be doing
The purpose of this role is to support the mission of the Church of England by ensuring that high quality data are collected, made available, and appropriately used in decision-making at local, regional, and national level. This analyst role also carries an emphasis on supporting the Church of England to achieve net zero carbon by 2030. 50% of the role will support the Net Zero programme by running the Energy Footprint tool, working with Dioceses and Churches to collect energy data, analysing the resulting dataset and reporting to assist with tracking the important progress of this work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with data received from churches, parishes, dioceses, and cathedrals to ensure best possible quality in terms of consistency, timeliness and accuracy, including undertaking an appropriate share of routine validation and processing.
- Analysing data, and preparing reports for publication of statistics relating to church attendance, parish finances, ministry, cathedrals, parish census and deprivation, and other agreed Business as Usual (BAU) deliverables.
- Overseeing the Energy Footprint Tool, including leading on question design, data analysis, and reporting
- Responding to queries regarding the Energy Footprint Tool from diocesan colleagues
- Producing analysis and reports to aid Net Zero decision making
- Working with key stakeholders to review and improve data collection processes and ensuring these are accurately documented, tested and implemented.
- Providing professional expertise and support to colleagues leading other work within the Data Services Team.
- Providing analysis, insight and statistical advice in response to NCIs’, Synodical, Parliamentary and official enquiries and working parties, including the drafting of responses and material for publication.
- Assisting, advising and providing professional support for the creation and development of resources that will help churches, parishes and dioceses better understand and engage with their data.
- Helping to organise and contribute to Data Services events and activities, including those for diocesan and NCI colleagues and members of General Synod.

About the role:
This role is offered working from either Southampton Central Police Station or the Eastern Police Investigation Centre. Your preference will be discussed at interview.
As a TEIO you will:
- Make calls to offer support to victims of crime, delivering immediate support.
- Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to young people and their families.

Main Purpose of Job
The Programme Coordinator – Careers, Events and Pathways is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of large scale employability events and progression initiatives for young people. These include careers fairs, widening and participation events and employer engagement activities designed to open access to real world opportunities. This role will lead events from planning and partner liaison to on-the-ground delivery and post-evaluation reporting.
The coordinator will work with employers, schools, colleges, and local authorities to co-create meaningful pathways for young people, ensuring activities are aligned with labour market needs and tailored to the aspirations of young people we are working with.
The coordinator will take a lead on developing and managing strategic partnerships with employers and external organisations to broker new opportunities and promote progression routes into education, employment or training.
Grounded in youth work values, the coordinator will offer mentoring, support, and guidance to help young people navigate their next steps, overcome barriers, and access the right pathway for their goals.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and programme delivery
- Design, plan and deliver high quality and innovative events and activities for the youth and employability programme offer. Lead on major events such as careers fairs, job fairs, employer panels, and large outreach opportunities, ensuring effective planning, logistics, and execution.
- Ensure all events and activities meet the needs of participants, align with programme and partner objectives, and are delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Lead on event and programme logistics including planning, external bookings and venue hire, facilitators, transport, resources, risk assessment and other associated logistics.
- Provide tailored events and activities for young people from vulnerable, underrepresented and NEET Groups.
- Deliver presentations, sessions and other events (e.g. assemblies, PSHE lessons, lunch time stalls, workshops, job fair) to primary and secondary schools, non-mainstream schools, colleges, and other organisations to engage young people.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including existing partners (e.g Worley, UK Youth), local professional organisations, schools and colleges, local authorities, and future key stakeholders as they come onboard.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to co-design and deliver events, promote programme opportunities, recruit participants, and support youth progression.
- Seek out new opportunities in relation to employment and training to support young people progress on to positive pathways. Work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives and collaborative projects.
Youth Engagement and support
- Lead cohorts of young people through events and programmes. Supervise, take responsibility for the pastoral care, and ensure safety needs of the young people are always met.
- Engage and build positive relationships with young people to provide effective support, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one and group basis where needed.
- Develop, implement, and lead on recruitment and engagement strategies to recruit and retain young people for events.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Record and monitor programme, partner and participant data using the relevant CRM systems ensuring all data is kept up to date.
- Ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately and within allocated time scales including handling personal data, managing expenses, safeguarding reporting, and risk assessments.
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Senior Manager, or partner organisation/ funder and regularly provide reports and monitoring information.
Leadership and Team Collaboration
- Lead and support casual staff to deliver high quality programmes, providing regular feedback and embedding reflective practice.
- Support the Senior Manager in recruitment, training, and supervision of casual delivery staff.
- Attend regular supervision sessions, team & organisation meetings, and complete compulsory training to enable all duties to be carried out effectively.
- Deputise for the Senior Manager when appropriate. Fulfil any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Senior Manager
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Coordinators, Youth Workers, Coaches and programme partners to support the young people on the programmes ensuring a united approach.
Safeguarding and Compliance
- Understand and comply with all policies and procedures in line with Trust and contractual responsibilities including the safeguarding of the young people, GDPR, health and safety and EDI.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality, especially regarding individuals' personal details and concerns.
- Participate in training sessions related to safeguarding and emergency response.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns, and actions taken.
- Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.
The Selection Criteria
Essential
Qualifications and experience
- Graduate degree level and or/ IAG Level 2 / Event Management and/or strong relevant experience (youth work, educational, community based, events, careers).
- Demonstrable experience (at least 2 years) of working with young people and children to inspire, motivate and support them to positively engage in new opportunities and develop new skills.
- Experience of leading, planning and delivering high-quality events and programmes for large groups (50/100+).
- Experience and/or good knowledge of working in partnership with local businesses/ professional partners, schools, colleges, and universities, to develop employability and careers pathways initiatives.
- Experience of effectively engaging young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including underrepresented groups (women and girls, ethnic minorities) and/ or, vulnerable groups (e.g. homeless, young carer, etc), and/ or those facing barriers to education, employment, or training.
- A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.
Skills, Knowledge, and ability
- An awareness of current socio-economic issues and trends which may affect young people and youth employment in the areas we work in.
- Ability to find new pathways and employer opportunities to support young people into the world of work
- Strong knowledge and experience of event management and logistics to deliver impactful events.
- A strong communicator - Ability to communicate and engage with young people/ children and their parents/guardians sensitively and confidently in both large groups and individual settings.

This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.

About the role

Project name: Strengthening Civil Society Representation of Women with Disabilities in Ghana

About the project
The Strengthening Civil Society Representation of Women with Disabilities in Ghana project is a two-year project funded by the European Commission. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of two co-applicants (Women with Disability Development and Advocacy Organisation (WODAO) and the Alliance for Better Advocacy and Knowledge (ABAK) Foundation) in the areas of management, communication, fundraising, coordination, advocacy, gender, climate change, networking, and financial accountability.
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen both co-applicant organisations, their partners and their members to effectively participate in development and decision-making processes.
About the consultancy
The purpose of this end of term evaluation (ETE) is to assess performance of the project and to understand what specific learnings can be taken forward in future project design and implementation. It is also intended that the evaluation will contribute evidence and/or insight towards some of Sightsavers’ thematic learning questions. An external ETE, to be conducted by the end of the project, is also a requirement by the donor.
The evaluation will also be designed to collect endline data for three project indicators, as specified in the project MEL plan. It is intended that the findings, learnings and recommendations from the evaluation will be used to inform the design and delivery of similar projects and programmes.
The evaluation will employ a collaborative and participatory approach to ensure that the evaluation takes into account the complex nature of how capacity is strengthened. It will use a mixed methods approach, triangulating secondary project documentation and data with some qualitative primary data collection. This is likely to include key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) with various project stakeholders. The appointed consultant will further define the methods and tools and may wish to consider elements of outcome harvesting if deemed appropriate.
Skills and Experience
The evaluation will be contracted to an external independent consultant or consultancy company. It would be beneficial if the consultant or team is at least partly located in Ghana. The evaluation team members should have the following core competencies and experience:

Extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation for international development project/programmes, with strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Thematic expertise in disability inclusion, Climate Action, advocacy, and/or capacity development of women’s organisations is essential. Comprehensive understanding of preferred practices/policy issues at global and national level is desirable.

Prior experience working in Ghana is essential, including data collection experience. A consultant or team with members located in Ghana is preferred.

Must have experience of carrying out evaluations of an appropriate scope and scale.

Ability to travel within Ghana is required.

The Restart Project helps people transform their relationship with electronics by supporting groups to teach repair at community events, developing fixing spaces and campaigning for a Right to Repair and better waste policy. We are looking for a strong project manager to be our new Fixing Factory Co-Lead.
What is a Fixing Factory? Fixing Factories do what they say on the tin! We help people fix their broken electricals and learn new fixing skills, shifting us from our current take-make-waste linear system towards a repair economy fit for the future. They generate public interest in repair. Through a series of stepping stone activities, we take people from never having looked inside an electrical item towards, if they wish, fixing for others.
The Fixing Factories is a partnership between The Restart Project and Possible, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. It launched in April 2022 with two initial sites in Brent (now closed) and Camden. After the initial development grant we secured funding to continue the Camden site, and open and mature three additional sites in London, including one which has already opened in Hackney, with a proportion of our focus being on long-term financial self-sustainability and scaling the model across the UK. The Restart Project is leading on the delivery of two sites, one in Hackney and another future London location (4th site), whilst Possible lead on the established Fixing Factory in Camden and an upcoming Haringey site.
Each new Fixing Factory site will grow and nurture a community of repairers, be strongly linked with local residents and stakeholders, and be driven by engaged teams of volunteers. There will be a range of offers; from free community repair events to paid workshops and retail - as we develop a replicable model which will support our long term goal of ‘a Fixing Factory in every high street’.
About the role
The focus of this role will be overseeing the Hackney Fixing Factory, launching a 4th site (subject to funding), and working with existing repair group communities, the council, and other partners in those areas. You will be bringing to life an already developed business model, ensuring that the Fixing Factories are run in a safe, effective and financially sustainable way, as well as responding to the needs of the community and continuing to strategically develop the Fixing Factories programme.

Main Purpose of Job

The Selection Criteria
Essential
Qualifications and experience
1. At least one year’s experience of delivering positive activities with young people (either in a voluntary or paid capacity).
2. Youth Work level 2 or alternative equivalent experience
3. Experience of inspiring and motivating young people from a variety of cultural, economic and social backgrounds.
4. Experience of planning, leading and facilitating both large and small group sessions, and 1 to 1 activity.
5. A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.
Skills, Knowledge, and ability
1. An awareness of current socio-economic issues and trends which may affect young people and youth employment in the locations we work in.
2. Ability to build relationships and work alongside stakeholders including schools, charities, employers, local council etc.
3. Able to be proactive and adaptable to manage challenging behaviour and support young people with inclusion needs.
4. Knowledge of and a commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity and data protection in relation to working in the community and youth work environment
5. Ability to regularly travel within the allocated work areas (Predominantly Ealing and Hounslow).
6. A willingness to work flexible hours as this role will involve evenings and some weekend commitments.
Desirable:
- FA level 1 or equivalent sports qualification
- Experience of working in partnership with young people or diverse community organisations to amplify youth voice.
- Experience of working with stakeholders such as professionals, community groups, schools to create opportunities for young people.
- Good knowledge of the local area and demographics (Hounslow and neighbouring boroughs)
- Alternative professional qualifications directly related to working with young people and children in a formal or non-formal setting
- Ability to adapt curriculum sessions to support young people with additional support needs
- Experience of, or a strong understanding of, how to effectively engage young people from vulnerable (e.g. homeless, young carer, etc) or underrepresented groups (women and girls, ethnic minorities), including those facing barriers to education, employment, or training.
- Previous experience of working with young people residentially.
- A full driving license and access to own car.

Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate Engagement Manager to join our team. They will work as part of the national (and local London) Employee Volunteering team working with corporate clients and community partners, creating and delivering team and individual volunteering events.

About the Role
As an IDVA at Respond, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring their safety and empowering them to rebuild their lives. You will conduct risk assessments (DASH), develop safety plans, and work closely with agencies such as social services, police, and housing. You will also play a key role in raising awareness and improving support for neurodivergent survivors.
What You’ll Do
Provide specialist, person-centred advocacy for survivors with learning disabilities and autism.
Undertake risk assessments and safety planning to enhance survivor well-being.
Represent survivors at MARAC and multi-agency meetings, advocating for their needs.
Work closely with social services, health professionals, and the criminal justice system.
Deliver training and consultation to professionals on supporting neurodivergent survivors.
Ensure accurate case management and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
