Job description

Position: Head of Supported Employment
Location: Open to flexible working options, with an expectation to base some days at the central office in Epsom, Surrey. 
Salary & Details: £40,000, permanent
Company: SeeAbility, charity, learning disabilities, autism, supported employment.

In 2020, SeeAbility will be launching its first supported employment programme with the aim of enabling people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss to secure and retain work that matches their talents and meets their career ambitions.

We’re now looking for a Head of Supported Employment who will lead and establish this exciting programme to create real opportunities that will make a tangible difference to people’s lives.

Scope of the Job

  • To develop a supported employment programme for SeeAbility based on the National Occupational Standards for supported employment and the British Association for Supported Employment guidelines
  • As the programme develops, lead a team of Job Coaches who are trained in the National Occupational Standards for supported employment
  • To develop a portfolio of employers and to secure funding to ensure the sustainability of the programme
