We're hiring a Support Coach to join our Independent Approved Premises, commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. You will join the team to support in the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents back into the community. Purpose of the job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. The purpose of this role is to identify and secure employment placements, including those that generate some income, for The Summer Jobs Programme as well as overseeing the employer journey from start to end. Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager, the Employer Engagement Manager has key input into the work experience aspect of the programme. 

The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance.

Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. In 2026, the programme will grow further, completing a three-year period of delivery and investment aimed at driving long-term, evidence-based change.

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. You will also be a confident facilitator, as some group and training delivery will be expected.

This role would ideally suit a parent who has successfully managed their own perinatal mental health problems and those with good understanding of promoting positive perinatal mental wellbeing.

As our Counsellor (Refugee and Asylum Seekers Service), which is a post currently funded for 4 years, you will be responsible for a client load of 12 clients, offering up to 16 sessions. You will need to be responsible for all aspects of the work, including administrative procedures, following our police and protocols, including liaising with mental health services and onward referral where necessary.

You will be working as part of a well-established team of colleagues, within the department and organisation. The service predominantly works within a psychodynamic framework; therefore, a working knowledge of psychodynamic thinking is crucial for all those applying for this role including the ability to work with the unconscious and counter transference process that come up for yourself and in the work.

This role will be located at Battersea Old Windsor or Battersea London with regular travel to Old Windsor.

The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for leading a £4-5M project that will build a new Cattery facility at our Battersea Old Windsor site. The role will oversee all aspects of the project to ensure the capital project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standards and design. This will include working with colleagues in Animal Care, Infrastructure and Income Generation teams to ensure the project has appropriate funding, the design and build of the cattery meets Battersea’s strategic and operational requirements and that the operational impact of the construction is effectively managed to minimise the impact to dogs and cats across our centres during the works.
