This role will be responsible for delivering support to individuals experiencing complex ill mental health and substance misuse issues, targeting achievable outcomes that promote and deliver positive outcomes for tenants in our services.The post holder will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions with a holistic assessment to support personalised recovery and promotion of independent living skills. Multi-disciplinary team working will be a part of the role, utilising and offering additional support and advice from partners and wider network services.
Key Responsibilities
Support Assessment & Delivery
- Implement and deliver dual-diagnosis support through 1.1 and group sessions to tenants experiencing issues with poor mental health and substance misuse.
- Undertake joint holistic assessments and risk assessments with tenants participating in the service to determine service and support needs and identity where these can be met.
- Provide outcome-based support measured against goals, personal aspirations of the tenant, and their achievements.
- Working with tenants, encourage them to identify their own goals and work towards independence and resilience. The key aims are to reduce the need for acute clinical interventions and hospitalisations.
- Put in place with the tenant, agreed SMART targets with a range of evidence-based interventions that addresses areas of need, such as harm minimisation, prevention of relapse for those in addiction recovery, and improved self-awareness and motivation.
- Through collaborative working with other teams in the organisation, enhance the personalised and choice-led support plan of tenants to integrate with their tenancy support needs and reducing the risk of tenancy loss due to dual-diagnosis issues.
- Help reduce episodes of crisis though support initiatives such as peer-led support groups.
- Be proactive in observing and responding to changing characteristics of tenants receiving support, recognising deterioration in mental wellbeing and putting in place interventions that reduce the likelihood of more acute support needs.
- Be a point of contact for tenants who are on the verge of experiencing a crisis episode, providing appropriate support and interventions to help avoid the need to access acute services.
- Foster positive working relationships with external stakeholders, breaking down barriers and improving access to appropriate support services such as specialised mental healthcare and addiction recovery programmes.
- Develop effective community links that expands support resources that to be offered to tenants.
- Develop all support plans and coaching sessions to embrace the key elements and principles of Trauma Informed Practice and Psychologically Informed Environments.
- Keep up to date with strategies and methodologies used in the support sector to ensure dual-diagnosis support in the organisation remains at a high level for all tenants accessing it.
- Promote the achievements of tenants receiving support through KPI reporting and case studies.
- Recognise goals and aspirations achieved by individuals and using the evidence obtained, formulate and develop future support plans and strategies that enhance the service.
- Work with team leaders and managers to develop our lived experience support in a structured and safe way.
- Deliver practical harm reduction, relapse prevention, and coping strategy workshops.
Risk Management
- Ensure accurate and up to date risk assessments are undertaken, putting in place effective risk management plans to mitigate risk of harm, neglect, and any other areas of risk to the tenant, staff, and wider community.
- Ensure all records and support plans are managed in compliance with organisational policies governing confidentiality, privacy, data sharing consent, and keeping to the requirements and principles of the UK GDPR.
General Responsibilities
- Support colleagues through the sharing of support strategies and techniques that will benefit tenants outside of dual-diagnosis sessions.
- Foster positive and effective working relationships with colleagues in the Housing and Support teams.
- Ensure adhere to Stay’s policies & procedures
- Represent the charity at relevant external meetings or forums as required.
- Always maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality, upholding the charity’s values and ethos.
- Participate in team meetings, training, supervision and appraisals as required.

Summary
The National Safeguarding Team provides professional safeguarding advice to the Church of England on matters of national policy as part of its wider transformation plan, which includes the development and implementation of national policy, training, quality assurance and audit, and work with survivors. The national safeguarding team also leads complex casework and supports dioceses in their safeguarding of children and adults.
An investigation by the Independent Inquiry Child Sexual Abuse conducted in 2019 has highlighted some areas for improvement in the Church of England Safeguarding Structure and Practices. This investigation reviewed the extent to which the Church of England and the Church in Wales protected children from sexual abuse in the past. It also examined the effectiveness of current safeguarding arrangements. A public hearing on these specific areas was held in 2019. The report, published in 2020, also drew on the previous two case studies on the Anglican Church, which related to the Diocese of Chichester and Peter Ball. In addition to recommendations made in the case studies, IICSA made eight recommendations in this report, covering areas such as clergy discipline, information-sharing and support for victims and survivors.
The Redress Scheme project is part of the Church of England's Safeguarding Programme, which aims to embed structure, quality assurance and continuous improvement in line with its Safeguarding principles. Following the Church of England's recently approval of a comprehensive redress scheme for survivors of Church-related abuse, the project is now moving into the implementation phase, and we are looking for a new member of the team to help us prepare for the opening the Scheme.
The purpose of this role is to act as the Non-Executive Chair of the Redress Steering Board, a delegated committee of the Archbishops' Council, and to provide leadership to the Redress Steering Board comprised of:

- Capacity requirement is 2-3 days a month, covering approximately 9 - 12 Steering Board meetings per year, which are expected to take place during usual business hours. Meetings should take no more than 3 hours with 2 - 3 hours of preparation time. The Non-Executive Chair may on occasions be asked to represent the Redress Steering Board at other organisational governance meetings, subject to availability.
- While most meetings are held online, applicants should be aware that there could be in-person meetings planned in the future.
- The role of the Non-Executive Chair of the Redress Steering Board is remunerated at £1000 a day. Reasonable expenses for necessary travel, accommodation will be paid in line with the organisational expenses policy.

We are looking for a driven, experienced Drug Strategy Lead to shape and deliver a whole-prison approach to reducing drug misuse, supporting recovery, and improving rehabilitation outcomes.
This is a high-profile leadership role with real influence, working closely with the Governor, senior leaders, health partners and external agencies to turn national strategy into meaningful, on-the-ground impact.
What you’ll do
- Lead and deliver HMP Millsike’s Drug Strategy, aligned with HMPPS priorities and the Forward Trust’s rehabilitation mission
- Drive initiatives that reduce demand, build recovery, and minimise harm
- Act as the subject matter expert, advising senior leaders with evidence-based insight
- Oversee the ISFL, ensuring a safe, purposeful and recovery-focused environment
- Coordinate cross-prison activity with Security, Healthcare, Education, Psychology and Residential teams
- Use data and intelligence to target risk, measure impact and drive continuous improvement
- Build strong partnerships to support treatment, recovery and continuity of care pre- and post-release

Who we’re looking for
- Proven experience in strategic planning and operational delivery within criminal justice or substance misuse

- Prison or secure-environment experience highly desirable

About the Role
As a Case Manager you will strive to make contact and work on a one-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this you will work alongside existing agencies to design a co-ordinated, intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risk, and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours.
You will work closely with the IDVA's (integrated partner support) to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. You will be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse and /or mental health, substance misuse and offending.
This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. What You’ll Do:

About the role:
Becoming a Homicide Caseworker is a unique opportunity to support families and individuals bereaved by and, eyewitness to murder and manslaughter. The National Homicide Service is a fast paced, specialist team funded directly by the Ministry of Justice to provide exceptional trauma informed practical and emotional support every day.
You Will:
- Work closely with the Major Crime Police Units, Senior Investigators and Family Liaison Officers, providing a pivotal role to support clients through the Criminal Justice System.
- Support clients by phone and Zoom as well as meeting families in their own homes or community, therefore you will be required to travel throughout the area.
- Complete needs assessments, and will coordinate and deliver a tailored package of support alongside our commissioned providers and other key stakeholders.

Specific Duties
1. Manage, create and administer reports and dashboards as requested by internal teams and the Head of Data.

We're looking for a passionate and strategic Supporter Services Manager to join our Fundraising & Marketing Operations team. This will be a full time, 9 month fixed term position based at our offices in King's Cross, London.
