About the role
 
As a member of our helpline team, you will provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals in need, responding to calls, emails, and web chats. You will support individuals who have experienced various forms of violence and abuse, including domestic violence, hate crimes, sexual violence, and so-called conversion therapies. Your role will involve offering a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic ear to those reaching out for help, while carefully assessing each situation to determine the appropriate level of support. You will conduct risk assessments, provide safeguarding assistance, assist with safety planning, signposting, and, when necessary, support with referring individuals on to the right services, always ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
 
About you
 
We are seeking a candidate with experience in providing trauma-informed support to victims and survivors. The ideal candidate will possess strong resilience, a commitment to self-care, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of LGBT victims and survivors. You will be able to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and a proactive approach in offering emotional and practical support, while ensuring a safe and empowering environment for those in need.

Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Administration & Bookings Officers (ABO) have day-to-day responsibility for coordinating the bookings for all of our clinical services. They contribute towards the delivery of high-quality therapeutic work through the provision of an empathetic, efficient, and comprehensive service, ensuring that all referral/booking-related matters are administered effectively. This is achieved by working closely and consulting with various managers about any potential barriers to service provision and regarding complex and/or highly sensitive cases. This role is primarily focused on our Rape Crisis and Ascent Counselling Services and also includes providing occasional cover and support for other WGN services.

ABOs act as a key point of contact for the charity and ensure WGN’s centers are welcoming, supportive, and calm environments for all users. As with all WGN team members, ABOs are responsible for actively contributing to a culture that values and respects diversity, learning, improvement, striving for quality, and best practice. They are responsible for contributing to continuous formal monitoring and reporting processes for clinical services delivery and provision.

We are looking for an ambitious, personable and experienced Senior Project Coordinator who can work with a proactive approach to coordinate and deliver impactful programmes that improve health outcomes, with a specific focus on physical health.

The Health and Wellbeing Senior Project Coordinator will oversee a portfolio of high quality, accessible community-based programmes including On Your Side and Brentford Welcomes, working with specific target groups including refugees and people seeking asylum, mental health service users and adults aged 55+. They will also support the Bee a Hero project, designed to raise awareness of the need for more blood donors, with a particular focus on people of Black Heritage.

In addition, we are opening a Clubhouse Café in Gunnersbury Park in Summer 2025 and the successful candidate will work on innovative social impact programmes linked to the Clubhouse Café. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, forward-thinking department and play a pivotal role in improving health outcomes through new and existing projects.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and enjoy working with autonomy. They will also be confident working in a fast-paced environment and will have efficient time management skills. Innovative approaches to session design and promotion of activities to varying target audiences will be important as well as building networks and inspiring engagement.

Capacity to work some unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.

We are delighted to be supporting a London-based university in their search for a Timetabling and Enrolment Support Assistant to join their team for a 5-week period during the September 2025 student intake. This is a full-time, onsite role based in South-East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a student-focused approach to support a busy enrolment period.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

• Assisting with in-person enrolment and answering student queries about timetables and university life.
• Supporting international students with lower English proficiency to ensure they feel confident navigating their schedules.
• Guiding students through the timetable login process and signposting relevant resources.
• Providing accurate information about personal timetables, room locations, and campus facilities.
• Monitoring group sizes and liaising with the timetabling team to ensure balanced class distribution.
• Helping to create tailored handouts and supporting the team with additional enrolment tasks.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive, friendly approach and the ability to work well under pressure.

Role Summary

As the HR Advisor at The Careers & Enterprise Company, you will report to the HR Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the business and wider HR team in a diverse HR generalist role that offers a great opportunity to grow and develop across a range of HR functions. You will cover a range of duties including providing HR advice and support to the business including line managers and employees, proactively helping to manage timely responses to internal and external enquiries to the HR shared inboxes, managing the monthly payroll and supporting with a range of administrative and reporting duties.
