Synchronicity Earth is a UK-registered charity focusing on global biodiversity conservation, specialising in overlooked and underfunded species and ecosystems.

We are research-driven, raising and distributing donor funding to the conservation sector.

To increase the impact of this funding, we develop programmes focusing on areas where the gaps in funding overlap with the highest risk of extinction, habitat destruction, and threats to biological and cultural diversity.

Through our programmes, we provide core and flexible support to (often local-led, women-led, and/or youth-led) partners addressing issues such as the amphibian extinction crisis, freshwater biodiversity loss, and the ‘silent forests’ of Southeast Asia.

The Nook, Greenwich is a peer support project aiming to provide a safe and welcoming space for young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (or those who have a GP within the borough) to connect with other young adults who have experienced mental health challenges. 

We are recruiting a sessional Young Person's Peer Support Worker to co-lead the development and delivery of The Nook alongside our Peer Support Coordinator and a team of volunteers.

You will work with Peer Support Volunteers to plan and co-facilitate the groups in line with service user needs. You will have experience of group development, psychoeducation, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement particularly with young people. You will be highly organised and be proficient with case management tasks and project management administration and take an active role in creating partnerships. 

Groups will be held at the University of Greenwich premises and will run every week until March 2027, with hope of an extension of contract. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.

You will have a “can-do‟ approach as well as a demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, demonstrable substantial experience in providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG. As well as having essential experience of attending multi-agency, risk-focused meetings.

Additional Information

The postholder will be based at our Bexleyheath service. The role is centred around face-to-face support, including assisting survivors to appointments, court and holding one to one meetings in person. Given the nature of this role, we are unable to offer hybrid working for this position.

Role Summary

The main function of the curation officer is to support the curation and wider team’s administrative and curatorial needs. • An excellent eye for detail and experience of managing databases, content management systems and general administration tasks
• An understanding of the educational value of film/moving image and the ability to communicate this to educators, young people, the film industry and the Into Film team.

All Into Film staff work in a hybrid pattern, combining home working with attendance at their local and national office when required, along with some travel across the UK, as appropriate to the role.

We're looking for an experienced PA to join our team to work with our Chief Mission Officer. You'll be organised with excellent administrative skills and a strong communicator.

The Chief Mission Officer is a member of our Executive Team, who report into the CEO. The Exec Team help shape and deliver organisational strategy ensuring alignment with our vision, values and mission. The PA to the CMO provides operational and administrative support across a wide range activities, which could include mission development, partnerships, training, resource development, digital innovation and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative support for the CMO

• Manage and coordinate the CMO’s diary, meetings, travel, accommodation, and key commitments.
• Ensure the CMO is adequately prepared for meetings, including drafting agendas, papers, and tracking follow up actions.
• Assist in the prioritisation of the CMO’s workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide administrative support for the CMO, including draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentation on behalf of the CMO.
• With the CMO, translate ideas and discussion into clear action plans and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain systems that improve organisation, communication, and operational efficiency.
• Attend meetings and events, both remotely and in person, taking accurate notes/minutes and translating them into action plans for the CMO.
• Maintain organised records and filing systems.

Audio transcription and document preparation

• Transcribe audio recordings into written documents.
• Format, proofread and edit documents and correspondence.

Job Summary

The Research and Impact Lead role offers an exciting opportunity to apply specialist research and evaluation expertise within a purpose-driven national charity - working closely with BookTrust colleagues, and our partners and families, as part of a team of research and impact specialists. This role will have a particular focus on our work with children in foster, kinship and adoptive families and partners in the children’s social care sector. 

We are seeking an experienced mixed-methods researcher and evaluator with strong methodological expertise and the understanding and collaborative skills to ensure theory and evidence can be applied in practice to improve outcomes. The successful candidate will bring intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and sound judgement, with the ability to interrogate evidence, navigate ambiguity and remain open to new perspectives and learning. The role is likely to suit someone with experience of taking overall accountability for the design and delivery of research and evaluation studies, with excellent partnership, stakeholder management and planning skills.

• Provide support with financial administration tasks such as submitting expense claims, raising purchase orders, processing invoices and responding to requests as needed

• Engage, influence and update a variety of stakeholders at all levels across and at cross-directorate meetings as required

• Support External Relations Leadership Team and Directorate Team meetings, with agendas and minutes, actions are followed up, and decisions implemented

What you’ll bring:

• Have a sound understanding of how modern charities operate and a commitment to good charity governance and legal compliance

• Experience of team administration or supporting a senior executive 

• Experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously that meet the business requirements with minimal supervision 

• Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with senior stakeholders

• Experience of Google Workspace/Google Suite and Google Gemini is desirable

• Experience of supporting and monitoring team plans and working with others to deliver against planned milestone
