The Challenge Events Manager role is a varied position which would be perfect for somebody who has event management experience. You will be responsible for the full event cycle, from the initial planning, participant recruitment and stewardship to on the day event delivery and post event follow ups. You will be somebody who can spot opportunities, take on a project and run with it. You’ll be an excellent communicator, happy to pick up the phone to chat to event participants, deliver pre-event webinars or create engaging participant emails. You’re self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, a strong administrator, a fantastic team player, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy being outdoors.
You'll work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager, who is highly experienced in delivering our challenge events, but needs time to develop new corporate partnerships which is why we have created this new role. You'll also line-manage our Events Fundraising Officer who plays a key support role on the events.

The Role

Working closely with the RSPB’s network of territory partners the successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development of an ambitious portfolio of impactful projects conserving and protecting the unique biodiversity of these special islands.
What's the role about?
Your main duties will include:
- Facilitating the development, funding and implementation of a diverse programme of partner led projects including policy, species, habitats, science and capacity focused interventions
- Working closely with partners to ensure development and the successful delivery of projects and the ongoing development of organisational capacity.
- Define the RSPB role in supporting territory governments in identifying and prioritising impact focused recovery and conservation programming across the Southern Ocean UKOTs.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

Beacon is seeking a creative, organised, and digitally savvy Digital Content Officer, whose role will focus on two main areas: delivering day-to-day communications and supporting digital projects.
At the heart of this role is driving engagement with Beacon’s events and projects, strengthening our community connections, and communicating our impact clearly and effectively. You will coordinate content across multiple channels - including social media, email, newsletters, and the Beacon website - and monitor the effectiveness of these communications. This includes writing copy, creating graphics and video content, scheduling and publishing materials, and engaging with the rare disease community on behalf of Beacon. Team & Events Coordinator
We are looking for a Team & Events Coordinator to join this charitable programme based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with a mission of working in partnership to develop and improve healthcare globally.
Position: Team & Events Coordinator
Location: Hybrid working to include a minimum of two days per week in the office on Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge / home working
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum FTE (depending on skills and experience)
Hours: Part time (30 hours per week)

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, passionate and growing team at a pivotal time in the organisation’s development. As Team & Events Coordinator, you will play a central role in supporting the smooth running of Cambridge Global Health Partnerships (CGHP) and delivering high-quality events for members, partners and supporters.
This is a varied and hands-on role, working across administration, finance, programmes, communications and events. You will be at the heart of the organisation, providing excellent coordination, organisation and stewardship, while helping the team maximise their impact both in the UK and internationally.
This role would suit either someone keen to develop a broad range of skills within the charity sector or an experienced administrator looking for a new and rewarding challenge.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Act as first point of contact for general enquiries.
- Manage organisational calendars, meetings and diary coordination for the Director and committees, including preparing papers and taking minutes.
- Maintain accurate records on the CRM database and support finance administration including processing payments and claims.
- Coordinate aspects of CGHP programmes, including member reports, grant scheme administration and virtual partnership meetings.
- Contribute to communications activity including social media, publications, website updates and branded materials.
- Lead on planning, logistics and delivery of CGHP events and support member and partner stewardship and networking activities.
About You:
To be successful in the role of Team & Events Coordinator, you will be exceptionally well organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in global health.
You will also need to have the following skills and experience:
- A strong interest in and commitment to global health work.
- At least three years’ experience in office administration, diary management and event organisation.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to use initiative and troubleshoot problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel when required, including internationally.
- Energy, resilience and enjoyment of being busy in a fast-paced environment – plus a good sense of humour!
Desirable:
- Experience of social media and digital communications.
- Experience working with or managing volunteers.

Role Overview
Working in the AdOps team, you will be helping develop campaign strategies based on our client needs. Campaign Associates are responsible for writing corresponding media plans and running campaigns on our own digital advertising platform (called Advocate) and other platforms, to ensure campaign goals are met.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Legacy Partnerships Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract for 9 months. This is a home-based role, though you will need to be based in the Midlands, North East or North West of England, or Northern Ireland AND be willing to travel across that area for events as required.
As the Legacy Partnerships Officer (North) you will represent Alzheimer’s Society, raise our profile, and promote legacy giving to our Will writing partners and legal professionals to secure future income for the charity. You will work collaboratively across the organisation at all levels to maximise our Will writing partnerships.
You will be responsible for the targeted acquisition of new Will writing partners in your region, whilst delivering a seamless onboarding and retention journey for the professional audience, through outstanding relationship management.

About you
Joining us, you will have good customer service skills with experience in a sales, marketing or business to business partnerships. You’ll also be able to network, particularly in a business partnership setting, and build rapport within a one-to-one relationship with a customer or business, discussing technical issues and combining persuasiveness with trust building.

- Maintaining accurate partner database records in compliance with Society policy and data protection laws.
- Planning, delivering and hosting acquisition and retention events for solicitors, including post event follow up stewardship activity.
- Meeting agreed annual targets through Will writing promotion which will support future Legacy income generation.
- Contributing to the continued development and project management of our Will offers.
- Working in collaboration with our Legacy Marketing Team and wider Regional Legacy Team to ensure that our Will offer messaging is supporter led, consistent and on brand.

One YMCA Youth Clubs provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people can socialise, build confidence, and develop skills for life. We are looking for a Youth Development Worker to support the delivery of engaging youth work sessions and contribute to the growth of our youth offer, including the opening of new clubs in Bedford town centre.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Youth Development Worker, you will support the planning and delivery of a range of youth work activities. This is a hands-on role working directly with young people, helping to create welcoming, fun and meaningful sessions that reflect the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about youth work who wants to develop their skills in a supportive environment. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of youth work activities for young people aged 9–18
- Deliver a range of youth work activities, including centre-based sessions, outreach, school-linked programmes, mentoring and digital engagement
- Build positive, trusted relationships with young people, offering encouragement, guidance and support
- Assist with projects and new youth club development in Bedford town centre
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, engagement and outcomes to support monitoring and reporting

About You
