Job Purpose
BSR education programme is a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, providing updates on the essentials needed to deliver top-quality care for patients and ensuring professional development opportunities.
This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager, Event Executive and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and digital learning activities. You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board.

Main Responsibilties
Event & Course Management
- Lead on course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials.
- Support course logistics including venue sourcing and management, accommodation and travel, catering and AV.
- Support stakeholder management at education courses, including communications with patients, sponsors and event supporters.
- Occasional travel, including attendance and overnight stays at BSR conferences, courses and events.
Systems & Data Management
- Oversee the team’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and registration systems, ensuring data integrity, implementing system enhancements, coordinating stakeholders, and carrying out testing.

- Coordinate the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery.

Marketing & Communications
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team to create digital content to engage target audiences.

Community Relationship Fundraiser
Hours: full-time 36.25 hours worked between the hours of 8am–6pm Mon-Fri (there is flexibility to adapt the working pattern to suit you)

Job purpose:
Reporting to the Fundraising manager & team lead and in the Income Generation team, you will support and guide individuals who raise funds for Brake in our communities, helping them reach their goals and, in turn, raise essential funds for our cause. The Community Relationship Fundraiser plays a key role in developing and growing our community fundraising programme. You will be responsible for inspiring and supporting individuals and groups who undertake community fundraising on behalf of Brake.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. We deliver life-saving medical care and strengthen health systems for those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement in the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Supporter Care Manager to lead our Supporter Care team. You’ll oversee our supporter care operations, ensuring every donor, fundraiser, and campaigner receives outstanding, empathetic service. You’ll also champion the voice of our supporters across MAP, ensuring their experiences shape our work.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and inspire our Supporter Care team (3 direct reports), fostering a supportive, high-performing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter Experience and Relationship Management
- Lead MAP’s Supporter Care team to deliver a high-quality, empathetic and efficient
service that underpins all income generating and engagement activities.
- Ensure consistent, engaging and supporter-centric communications across all channels
(written, verbal and digital), supporting the team to continually improve interactions with
supporters.
- Be responsible for translating complex organisational and campaign information into
clear and actionable briefs, messaging, scripts and training resources for the team.
- Be an internal advocate for MAP’s supporters, ensuring their voices and experiences are
heard across MAP’s teams.
Team Leadership and Development
- Inspire, coach and develop the Supporter Care team – creating a psychologically safe
environment where the team can do their best work, learn and collaborate.
- Line manage the Supporter Care and Database Assistants – set clear objectives and
provide ongoing feedback, ensuring professional growth, satisfaction in their roles and
supporting their wellbeing.
- Proactively manage workloads, resources, and wellbeing within the team to deliver highquality service across varying activity and enquiry levels.
- Support the team in handling complex enquiries and complaints, leading by example in

Processes, reporting and systems improvement
- Be responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of supporter care

interactions with every supporter who emails, calls or writes to us.
- Regularly review, monitor and report on KPIs, including the speed and quality of
interactions. Identify trends, opportunities and risks and be responsible for

quarterly reporting to the SMT and board.

- Act as MAP’s operational lead for compliance in supporter care, keeping up to date with regulatory developments, sector initiatives and best practice.

- Maintain robust processes for risk identification and escalation, safeguarding MAP’s reputation and supporter trust.
