A London-based reputable social housing provider is seeking a Financial Planning candidate to join their dynamic team.  The organisation provides a first class service for their tenants and plays an important role in the community. The role is an interim position to start with but has the option of temporary to permanent if the right fit on both fronts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead on the preparation and maintenance of the 30-year financial plan

• Own and manage the Brixx financial model, ensuring accuracy and alignment 

• Prepare and submit quarterly NROSH returns and support wider regulatory reporting requirements

• Act as a finance business partner to non-finance stakeholders, providing insight and challenge on financial plans and investment decisions

• Support the Head of Finance with treasury activities

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with significant relevant experience

• Strong experience in long-term financial planning within social housing

• Proven hands-on experience with Brixx 

• Solid understanding of NROSH reporting and regulatory frameworks in the sector

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights

You will oversee a small, tight-knit team (comprising of office staff, as well as a Clinical Lead and a School Liaison Coordinator), leading on administrative, marketing and budgeting for the entire service.  You will update and implement policies across the organisation to meet standards in the field of therapeutic provision and mental health services. You will also liaise with external agencies, statutory and non-statutory organisations and schools, nurturing relationships, identifying new clients and securing new contracts in order to develop additional revenue streams and ensure the financial sustainability of the Centre.

To apply for this role you will be a supportive leader with significant experience of overseeing staff and service operations previously. You will have an awareness of children mental health services (CAMHS) and related settings such as education, social care, health, public sector, and will be confident working in partnership and building relationships with a variety of external agencies. You will have the ability to think strategically and creatively with a solutions-focused attitude and will have knowledge of safeguarding processes. A recognised child psychotherapy qualification with UKCP or ACP training organisation would be an advantage.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fundraiser, with a proven track record, to take a pivotal role in securing funds to support our life changing work. 

With no NHS funding, we need to raise over £700,000 each year to support ourwork. Your success will mean we can provide the best possible support for anyone affected by MS in our community and make our ambitions a reality.  

You will

• Lead and support a small fundraising team, looking for ways to maximise use of our resources. 
• Seek, select and prioritise opportunities to raise funds and increase the Charity’s profile. 
• Regularly monitor progress and inspire our team to reach their targets and goals.
• Take the lead on Trusts, Foundations and Individual Giving and oversee supporter communication and stewardship.
• Be confident indeveloping and evaluating the income generation capability of the Charity as we seek to drive income growth

Skills

• Broad experience across a range of fundraising areas. 
• Proven success in Trust and Foundation fundraising.
• Ability to meet (and ideally exceed) pre-agreed targets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Ability to analyse financial and impact data.
• Confident communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
• Confident with IT and proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• The ability to work outside normal office hours (Time off in Lieu will be provided).

Desirable skills:

• Experience of using a charity-based CRM system e.g. Beacon,
• Experience of working in a health charity/knowledge of Multiple Sclerosis.
• Understanding of the local funding community.
• A driving license and access to a car to attend events in necessary.

You would provide information, advice and support to people across the UK, primarily the relatives and friends of older people needing care. You would help people to understand the care system, their rights and entitlements, and guide them through problems they are experiencing with care services.

We use an empowering model of advice, helping clients to identify what they want to achieve and how to go about it. We aim to give people the knowledge and confidence to take control of their own situation. We also provide additional support to those who need it (such as letter writing).

You would be at the heart of Care Rights UK’s work, delivering our core advice service. You would work alongside colleagues who are experts in their field, with dedicated time for co-learning and sharing knowledge and skills.
