Camden Disability Action (CDA) is looking for a friendly Digital Champion to support Disabled people to access technology and online services. We are looking for someone with lived experience of disability or a long-term health condition, who feels comfortable using everyday digital devices and explaining them in a patient and accessible way.You must be a Disabled person and/or have a long-term health condition to apply for this role.
This role is all about digital inclusion, helping to remove barriers to technology, and ensuring Disabled people can access the digital world in ways that work for them.
As a Digital Champion, you will work closely with the Digital Inclusion Lead and Volunteers to deliver digital skills sessions twice a week. You will use both digital knowledge and excellent people skills to support Disabled adults to use everyday devices, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. Outside the delivery of sessions, you will carry out light administration tasks and contribute to occasional digital events with partner organisations.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives in an increasingly digital world. Strong listening and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to digital inclusion and the social model of disability.
Due to the nature of the Digital Champion role and in-person digital skills sessions, the post is office-based and cannot be carried out remotely. The contract is part-time, 9 hours a week across two days - Mondays’ and Wednesdays. The contract is currently for 12 months, and any continuation will be dependent on funding.

Fundraising and supporter engagement
- Engage and support individuals, communities and local businesses to fundraise for Duchenne UK, providing outstanding stewardship and care throughout their journey.
- Recruit participants for both ‘run your own’ and third-party challenge events (runs, cycles, walks, skydives, etc.), developing long-term relationships with supporters – including families directly connected to the Duchenne community.
- Manage and grow Duchenne UK’s community fundraising programme, including in-memory giving, birthday fundraisers, and local community initiatives.
- Respond promptly to fundraising enquiries and proactively inspire new audiences to get involved.
- Project-manage a calendar of third-party challenge events, overseeing logistics, communications, and participant stewardship from sign-up through to completion.
- Identify and develop new community and virtual event opportunities to grow income and reach new audiences.
- Recruit, support, and motivate volunteers to assist with events and community fundraising activity.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a fundraising, events, or community engagement role within the charity sector.
- A proven track record of meeting income targets and growing a supporter base.
- Experience engaging and supporting a diverse range of fundraisers including individuals, schools, community groups, and local businesses.
- Experience recruiting, supporting, and motivating volunteers.
Essential skills and attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a wide range of supporters.

The Therapeutic Service Co-ordinator & Clinician is a vital member of the DreamArts Core Team. This role combines project co-ordination with direct therapeutic support through our EXPRESS PLUS service and our work with young carers.
EXPRESS PLUS is a free therapy service based in Westminster offering weekly one-to-one or parent-child creative therapeutic support to young people aged 7–18 (or up to 25 with additional needs). It is the only service of its kind in the borough and we provide a safe and welcoming space for clients to explore issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, and suicidal ideation.
Sessions take place at three community venues and are delivered by qualified or qualifying therapists using a wide range of creative tools—arts and crafts, sand play, puppets, games—to help young people express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. With an 80% retention rate after three sessions and two-thirds of clients from global majority backgrounds, the service has a demonstrable impact.
EXPRESS PLUS is proudly user-led. Young people are at the heart of every decision, and the service adapts to meet their needs—typically offering up to 18 weekly sessions, with flexibility depending on circumstances. We accept self-referrals from young people aged 14+, parents/carers, and statutory and voluntary services.
As part of this role, you will also deliver direct therapeutic support to young people with caring responsibilities. This includes offering weekly 1:1 sessions for three young carers and being part of a team facilitating monthly group therapy spaces.

You will provide leadership for MAG’s global advocacy and influencing work, ensuring engagement with political, institutional, and sector stakeholders is focused, coordinated, and aligned with organisational priorities.
The Head of Advocacy will lead the development and delivery of MAG’s advocacy strategy across key geographies and fora, including national governments, multilateral institutions, and sector networks. The role ensures that MAG’s policy positions are translated into clear and targeted influencing approaches, and that advocacy activity supports organisational objectives.
Working closely with the Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships, the Head of Policy, and colleagues across MAG, the role strengthens MAG’s external influence and ensures a coordinated approach across teams and regions.
Advocacy Leadership and Strategy
- Lead the development and delivery of MAG’s global advocacy strategy, aligned with organisational priorities and policy positions
- Identify priority targets, geographies, and influencing opportunities across national, regional, and multilateral contexts
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on advocacy opportunities, risks, and positioning
External Engagement and Representation
- Represent MAG at senior level with governments, multilateral institutions, and sector networks
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and advocacy peers across priority geographies
- Lead MAG’s engagement in relevant advocacy fora, including parliamentary, multilateral, and sector spaces
- Support senior MAG staff to engage effectively with advocacy targets
Delivery of Advocacy and Influencing
- Oversee the design and delivery of advocacy initiatives that support MAG’s objectives
- Ensure the development of high-quality advocacy materials, including briefings and messaging
- Ensure advocacy activity is coordinated across MAG and aligned with organisational priorities
Advocacy Management and Internal Coherence
- Provide leadership and line management to the Advocacy Manager and wider advocacy function
- Conduct appraisal meetings in line with MAG policy, agreeing and reviewing progress towards individual targets on a regular basis.
- Ensure clear planning and prioritisation of advocacy activities
- Strengthen internal understanding of advocacy priorities and approaches
- Ensure consistency of messaging across advocacy, policy, communications, and programme engagement
- Sector Engagement and Positioning
- Build and maintain relationships with advocacy peers and coalitions across the humanitarian and disarmament sectors
- Influence sector advocacy agendas in line with MAG’s priorities and expertise
Management
- Contribute to PSP planning and organisational strategy
- Support business planning and programme development
- Manage resources in line with agreed priorities
- Provide updates to the Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships
- Deputise as required
Requirements
Essential Experience
- Significant experience in advocacy, influencing, or external engagement in humanitarian, development, or related sectors
- Experience engaging with political stakeholders, including governments and/or multilateral institutions
- Experience developing and delivering advocacy strategies or influencing initiatives
- Experience producing high-quality advocacy materials and briefings
- Experience working collaboratively across teams and with external partners
Essential Skills and Knowledge

Remuneration
The starting salary will be £56,220, based on a 37.5 hour working week. MAG has a system of incremental pay increases, up to a limit, based on length of service in the role. Further information will be provided to the successful candidate.
