Do you want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with supermarkets, volunteer recruitment channels and venues to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning and delivery, and working with volunteers. You will be experienced in building relationships with a range of stakeholders, and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in the North East, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

About the role

The purpose of the role is to lead an outstanding IT service across the Trust and cultivate a high performing team that supports all staff, people we support and other stakeholders.

Reporting to the Resource Director, the role will be key in supporting the digital transformation agenda, providing IT and data expertise that will enable higher quality of life for adults with learning disabilities and maximise efficiencies within the services that we provide. 

Main Responsibilities   

• Developing the IT strategy in alignment with the Trust wide strategic goals and evolving digital transformation priorities;

• Oversee the Trust’s approach to Cyber security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Being the subject matter expert for the organisation.

• Oversee the Trust’s data and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and training and educating staff as required on data protection measures; 

• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement;

• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources; 

• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s IT systems; 

• Providing IT expertise and advice for the software owners across the Charity including supporting the development of management reporting using Power BI;

What you’ll bring to the role:

Working in our small Income Generation Team, you will have responsibility for writing compelling proposals and reports that showcase the impact of our work. • Write compelling funding proposals and cases for support, from £5000 to £100,000s

The North West England Methodist District (NWED) is seeking to appoint a District Property Secretary. The role is home-based, with travel throughout the District. They will be the first point of contact on all matters relating to property and will work in collaboration with the churches and circuits within the District, providing oversight of the properties owned by the District. Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team

The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the organisation’s outreach.

Kentown Support is a new charity, here to ensure that every child with a life-limiting condition and their family across the UK has access to a model of integrated community children’s palliative care. We will:

· REPLICATE and roll out the Kentown model to reach more children;

· CREATE sustainable teams around the child and family; and

· EQUIP professionals and parents/carers with the knowledge and expertise to deliver the best health and social care for children with life-limiting conditions through high-quality research, education and training.

Our Marketing and Communications Manager will play a key role in growing our reach and influence, building Kentown Support’s brand across the children’s palliative care sector.  

In this home based role, you will use your creative flair to develop and deliver strategic communications and marketing plans to our audiences using a range of channels. Working closely with colleagues, partners and service users, you will lead and implement all aspects of our communications’ strategy: Brand management & development, Web & social media, PR & Media and Storytelling & publishing.

The Snowdrop Project is the first organisation in the UK to provide long-term, community based support to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. We aim to empower survivors of modern slavery and exploitation to recover from their experiences and thrive. We aim to reduce the risk of re-exploitation, to create and implement models of best practice and to share this knowledge with other agencies and individuals nationally and beyond.

Each year, our casework team engages with over 150 individuals and their dependents to provide trauma-informed advocacy, advice and support towards independence. The Casework Manager leads our team of specialist caseworkers to deliver this programme, carry a small caseload, collaborate with our wider operational team to develop opportunities, influence national policy and improve access to support for survivors in South Yorkshire and beyond. 

Position: Casework Manager

Salary: £32,000 per annum, pro rata, pension paid at 4% contribution

You'll be responsible for: 

• Developing the casework service delivery, empowering your team, creatively approaching problems and finding creative solutions to barriers
• Working in collaboration with the wider Operational Team to deliver whole-person centred and best practice approach with Counselling and Community managers. 
• Assessing referrals and delivering support to survivors with complex needs
• Contributing to our policy, training and research programme to improve lives beyond South Yorkshire
