We are looking to recruit a Visitor Experience Assistant to join our team based at our London site. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, working 1250 hours per year (annualised contract) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £16,443.76 per annum.

The Museum is looking to a Visitor Experience Assistant on an annualised contract.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate team member who understand and are committed to providing customer service excellence and who put the visitor at the centre of everything they do.
The ideal candidate will have previous visitor facing experience ideally in a leisure or heritage environment. You will need to be a confident communicator, a team player and be able to respond quickly and positively in a changing environment. Being flexible in your outlook is essential as you will be fulfilling a variety of roles at the museum.
You will also support the museum in hosting evening events from gala dinners to sleepovers and outdoor film nights. An understanding of the importance of supporting and fulfilling a ‘host’ role for corporate clients and Museum partners is desirable.
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you will have a variety of roles which will include:
- Proactive response to ensuring the highest possible visitor standards are maintained.
- Providing a warm welcome to our visitors and enhancing every visitor’s experience at the museum through your engagement with them and your problem-solving skills.
- Supporting activities, events, general museum operations and processing visitor bookings at admissions.
- Promoting and selling museum guidebooks, services, commercial activities, and events to visitors.
- Supporting the museum’s fundraising and commercial activities.
- Providing a safe and secure experience for everyone.
- Being a first aider and fire marshal. Training for both roles will be provided.
- Inspire visitors by sharing the Royal Air Force story and the story of the people who shape the Royal Air Force.
- There will also be the opportunity to provide engaging talks to visitors.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 1250 hours annually. The working hours each week will be dependent on business requirements (maximum 35 hours per week during peak season and minimum 4 hours per week during off-peak season). You will work a flexible pattern which will include working some weekends, bank holidays and occasional evening/overnights.

Role Summary:
As part of the Major Gifts and Planned Giving team, this role is responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 80 legacy estates, including pecuniary, specific, residuary and life interest estates. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

- Administer legacies in a professional and approachable manner, to include correspondence with solicitors and other interested parties
- Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
- Act as the point of contact and grow and mature relationships with stakeholders and external groups in order to attain information needed to carry out the role
- Work with various stakeholders on contested legacies, collaborating with other charities where needed
- Be able to communicate to supporters how important and desirable legacies are to PETA
- Respond to enquiries and requests for assistance from Augustus Club members and planned-giving prospects
- Document pertinent information about planned-giving members for the purpose of enhancing and building relationships
- Remain current on estate-planning practices as well as fundraising techniques and methods used in the non-profit sector, attending professional training seminars as needed
- Keep up to date on probate and tax laws, informing the team of any changes

Single Friendly Church Network is a young charity which encourages churches to welcome and value single people at every stage of life and of all types of singleness. Our work and influence are growing across a wide range of denominations. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer will play a fundamental role in leading and developing strategies on organising and increasing collective bargaining and leverage for women transport workers, on behalf of the ITF.
At the direction of the General Secretary and Executive Board, the Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer will be responsible for leading the ITF’s Gender and Equality Programme. The role will be focused on developing leading campaign strategies to organise women workers and increase the capacity of our affiliates in this area. It will strategically engage with ITF affiliates, donor organisations and other relevant stakeholders to deliver projects globally, which includes managing relationships with multinationals to improve the state of gender and equality matters across transport supply chains.
This role will have accountability for the management of relevant staff of the Women’s Department, as well as budgeting and planning for all development initiatives.
