Key responsibilities

As a Finance Associate/Specialist (UK) reporting to Viktorie Havlíčková (Finance Specialist), your key responsibilities when dealing with clients will include: 

• Working with the Specialist on developing financial systems for clients which reduce manual administrative duties and maximize efficiency
• Creating, tracking, and maintaining client budgets 
• Processing client payments such as invoices and expense reimbursements
• Carrying out client bookkeeping tasks and advising clients on best practices
• Supporting the finance team in day-to-day financial tasks
• Ensuring compliance with the regulatory and tax requirements in the relevant jurisdictions with help from the Finance Specialist

About you

You’ll need to have:

• 2+ years (for associate) or 4+ years (for specialist) of experience in finance, budget management, or a related role
• An understanding of financial compliance and tax regulations in relevant jurisdictions, particularly for the UK
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, or similar tools, with a solid understanding of financial reporting and bookkeeping

Your starting salary range is £40,000 to £50,000 (for associate level) and £55,000 to £65,000 (for specialist level), depending on prior experience and location. There may be flexibility in salary for exceptional candidates with significant experience.

About the Role
 
TRAINING OFFICER
 
We provide training and consultancy to organisations that work directly with care-experienced young people, in order to upskill and develop professionals who are committed to improving outcomes for children in care and care leavers.
 
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Training Officer to plan, design and deliver training content that makes a real impact. We are seeking an excellent facilitator to deliver this important provision, who is creative, professionally curious and has strong organisational and self-administration skills.
 
The Training Officer will be involved in delivering our standard courses, alongside developing new and innovative pieces of work, including digital, online and in-person training packages. They will also support the delivery, assessment and ongoing development of an accredited learning programme for Personal Advisers in Leaving Care Service Teams.
 
Location
 
Our team currently work remotely from home, with the required attendance of in-person meetings (generally expected once or twice per month). In-person meetings usually take place in our office space in Old Street, London and Become covers the cost of travel within Great Britain for essential in-person meetings.
 
The role of Training Officer also requires regular delivery of training sessions at client venues across England (travel expenses covered).
 
The Old Street office space is available for team members to work from if preferred. For non-London based team members hot-desking options near you can be requested if required.

The Role
We are looking for an Advice & Guidance Officer who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of deaf children, young people, and their families.

A key focus of this role will be delivering the service remotely using technology. In addition, you will use your interpersonal skills and experience working with families to connect with local community groups, raise awareness of our services, promote membership, and provide support to families, deaf young people, and professionals.

This is a fully remote role, but will require some regional travel so applicants should live in the North West of England (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside) and possess a driving licence and have access to a car.
 
 
What you'll do
 

• Deliver tailored information and advice to individuals and groups of deaf children, young people, and their families.
• Support deaf children, young people, and their families in becoming more confident in articulating their needs independently.
• Help deaf children, young people, and their families explore their options and decide on a preferred course of action.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with professionals and organisations that support deaf children.
• Attend both in-person and online events to provide information and advice tailored to different audiences.

 
What you'll need
 

• Significant experience and understanding of the skills and practices required to deliver person-centred support to children, young people, and their families.
• Experience providing information and advice to families and young people, both digitally and face-to-face.
• A strong working knowledge of education and special educational needs, including relevant legislation, government guidance, and local implementation.
• An understanding of deafness and its impact on children, family dynamics, raising a deaf child, and child development-translating this into effective, child-centred practice.
• Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.

The Role
We are looking for a Education & Early Years Senior Adviser to use your expertise to influence professional practice, systems and policies to improve outcomes for deaf children in early years and education. You will champion Family Centred Early Intervention (FCEI) Principles both internally and externally and embed learnings from the latest research on meeting the needs of deaf children.

We’re now looking for a Development Manager (Salesforce) to play a pivotal role in delivering our Technology Roadmap and shaping the future of our digital platforms. This is a senior, highly technical leadership role within our Technology directorate, sitting at the heart of how we design, build and improve systems that support people living with dementia, their careers, and the colleagues and volunteers who support them. 

Our Salesforce platform underpins critical line-of-business services across the Society. You’ll lead the development of this platform while also helping us prepare for the introduction of new technologies as our ambitions grow. That means real scope to influence strategy, broaden your technical expertise, and help define how we deliver secure, high-quality services at scale. 

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners and a wide range of IT delivery teams including Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Digital and Data. You’ll also lead a blended development team of internal colleagues and external partners, fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture where people feel supported, challenged and valued.

Role outline and purpose

A Senior/managerial Salesforce role accountable for driving forward the continued rollout, design, build and development of Salesforce and related applications; aligned with the Trusts strategy, values and goals.

This role is part of Trussell’s Knowledge Transformation programme, the goal of which is to gather and curate our collective knowledge as Trussell and food banks, and equip people to harness this knowledge to drive forward our mission. As a member of an enabling programme, this role is focused on the successful delivery of the Knowledge Transformation programme outcomes, which underpin and enable the outcomes of our 5 external programmes - together contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Role responsibilities

· Create, document and prioritise application requirements by working together with team subject matter experts and end-users to develop new functionality.

· Work with management, strategic planning and end-users to automate business processes.

· Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation (such as workflow rules, process builders and flow) is integral to the role.

· Manage multiple Salesforce project streams, identifying projects which require assistance from the implementation partner, and manage projects from pipeline to production.

· Own the development and configuration function by becoming a technology ambassador for the solution, demonstrating its ‘use of’ cases, and ensuring Trussell gets the best return on its investment by using the platform to its fullest extent.

· Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials as database applications are developed.

Person Specification

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

· Salesforce Certified Administrator/Non-profit Cloud Consultant

· Track record of Salesforce deployments, releases and environment management

My client, a well known charity, is looking to recruit a permanent business partner to join the team. Based from home, with some travel throughout the year, the role will be to deliver financial data, analysis and support to managers across the business whilst developing and delivering good quality budgeting and forecasting tools which will help provide specialist financial advice for informed decision-making.

Day to day your role will include:

• To be part of all financial planning and business planning cycle activities, to include the annual budget, Medium Term Business Strategy and quarterly rolling forecasts.
• Deliver high-quality financial information on a regular and adhoc basis which may include daily, weekly, monthly cycles
• Transform data into relevant information; identify trends, and deep-dive into variances.
• Consult closely with stakeholder to understand current and future business needs and ensure the necessary resources and plans are in place.
• Interpret and interrogate the financial data in order to identify key areas of the business for development and performance review.
• Ensure statistical returns are completed as required by law and results analysed for benchmarking against the sector and key competitors (to include charity sector external reporting)

To be considered for the role you will need to be a fully qualified (CCAB) finance professional with previous experience in business partnering as well as in the charity or another regulated sector.

This is a home based role but some travel will be required throughout the year. The salary range is £52,265 to £72,927.

ASSIST Trauma Care is one of the leading UK providers of therapy for the psychological effects of trauma and, in particular, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. We are seeking a Specialist Children’s Trauma Therapist to work throughout Northants/Rugby.

You would be required to deliver trauma-focused CBT to children affected by trauma. 

You must be experienced in working with children, delivering CBT techniques, and have a minimum of post-diploma experience in working with psychological trauma.
