We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role will play a key part in the financial management of the organisation, ensuring that resources are used effectively to support our mission, while leading and developing a small team.

Job Purpose

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely management accounts, budgets, and financial forecasts for the Association. You will oversee the work of the Finance Officers, ensuring the efficient running of day-to-day financial operations and adherence to relevant policies and procedures. Your financial insight will support the delivery of high-quality care across our homes and enable strategic decision-making at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare monthly cashflow forecasts.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts in collaboration with care home managers and the Director of Finance and Fundraising.
• Provide financial reports and analysis to support operational and strategic planning across the care home network.
• Assist with year-end processes and preparation for external audit.

Leadership & Team Oversight

• Supervise and support Finance Officers responsible for income processing, supplier payments, bank reconciliations, and financial records.
• Review and authorise monthly payroll and supplier payments using Bankline
• Monitor debtors and direct credit control priorities
• Conduct regular supervision and performance reviews to ensure high standards and ongoing development.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in line with internal controls.

Regulatory Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory obligations.
• Maintain robust financial controls, supporting the integrity and accuracy of accounting systems.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Stakeholder Support & Business Partnering

• Work closely with Registered Managers and operational staff to ensure budgetary control and understanding.
• Provide accessible and relevant financial insights to non-finance colleagues.
• Support Operational Managers with ad hoc costings including client’s holidays and support contracts.
• Support the finance team in producing returns for regulators and funders, where appropriate.

Person Specification

Essential

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Experience producing management accounts and financial analysis.
• Experience managing or supervising finance staff.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage 50 or similar).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance professionals.

Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness agencies and the wider housing with health, care and support sector in England. About The Role  

As a SQL Insight Analyst, you will be at the heart of our charity’s ambition to drive our decision making through evidence and data backed insights. Working closely with the rest of the Data, Insights and Research team to enable their access to aggregated or granular data points from our Services and Fundraising databases.

You will become an expert on the data points we collect at Help For Heroes and gain understanding of how these all play a part in achieving our overall goal of ensuring Members of the Armed Forces Community Live Well after Service.

About You  

You will be a highly motivated SQL code writer with a passion for making a difference in our community. You will need a sharp and dynamic mind that can infer the business logic that underpins the work we do. You will have the adaptability to be able to speak both in business logic and in the translated SQL language that access the data points needed to provide insight on a particular business challenge. Good organisational skills, energy and the ability to listen, build relationships and inspire both confidence and curiosity within our dataset will be essential to drive the change the Charity is looking for.

We are looking for someone with:  

• The ability to write efficient and accurate SQL code.

• An aptitude for understanding business logic and translating that into all code written.

• Strong communication skills to ensure that requirements are agreed and understood on both sides of the ask.

• Basic knowledge of BI tools, in order to implement connections and code to allow for visualisation of the aggregated data.

The Community Fundraising Manager is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Fundrasing Team. This role is central to building relationships, engaging local communities, and driving fundraising initiatives across the region. Being based in or regularly present in Northern Ireland is essential to effectively deliver on the role’s objectives and maintain close connections with supporters and stakeholders.

In Community Fundraising we are the team that builds relationships with our supporters, families, and event participants to fundraise so that MDUK can continue to find treatments and ultimately cures through research, and to drive improvements in care and quality of life. 

In this small but close team there are four other Community Fundraising Managers covering the rest of the UK and a Senior Manager who can support you and the rest of the team in delivering an excellent supporter journey to deliver the charities aims.

You will build relationships and manage both supporters and volunteers within the local community creating an impact by maximising financial contributions and raising awareness of fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Role Purpose: Carry out actions in support of the strategy set out in the Business Plan. Key responsibilities include: Strategy and Business Development and to lead the fundraising effort MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with the Board of Trustees to develop the overall Business Strategy

· Lead the Fundraising programme, with a target income of £100,000 + per annum new funds

· Manage relationships with other 3rd party organisations operating in adjacent healthcare sectors

· Working with the Clinical Consultant, open 5 new Leg Clubs per annum, maintaining a prospective list of 10-20 potential new launches at any one time

· Work with existing and prospective Leg Clubs to understand the NHS landscape both to facilitate growth and to support existing clubs

· Develop relationships with existing Leg Clubs

· Support the Educational Programme of the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation REPORTING

· Produce a monthly activity report

· Report to Board of Trustees at the Quarterly Board Meetings

GENERAL

This is a Sole Trader position which means that the individual must provide their own laptop/computer, phone etc. Appropriate expenses will be reimbursed. This role description is not exhaustive and the successful candidate may be asked to undertake additional appropriate duties as required.

TRAVEL

The role will require regular travel. The post holder must possess a driver’s license and ensure own vehicle is in good clean good clean working order and suitable for the task. ABOUT The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation was established in December 2004 with the main objective of facilitating and managing the co-ordinated growth of the network of the Leg Clubs and to provide the Clubs with any information and support that they may require. The Foundation achieved charitable status in September 2005, Charity Registration Number: 1111259. Individual Clubs are members of the central Foundation and operate according to the Lindsay Leg Club Model. The model is set out in a practical Handbook which details how Clubs can be established. It includes guidelines on the four key elements of the model, procedures, policies and standards. 

HR Manager

The AI Platform team supports our product teams in developing the best and safest AI features in the EdTech space. The team maintain AI platform services, prompt libraries, and reusable pipelines that can be applied across multiple projects.

Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. 

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports around 3,600 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 170 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
