Working closely with the events team, you’ll help bring our challenge events programme to life by providing high-quality administrative support, confidently handling phone and email enquiries, and making outbound calls to supporters to engage them with the charity and its sporting events. As education quality assurance service officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of World Physiotherapy’s education quality assurance services, including programme accreditation and CPD recognition.

You will be one of the key points of contact for World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) recognition. The position is instrumental in assisting the smooth running of World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services and supporting the work of the Head of membership, education and development, and other staff working on the education portfolio.

You will use your experience, initiative, confidence, project and organisational skills to support effective implementation of the education quality assurance services. You will support and coordinate activities and administrative tasks for the full review cycle. These include managing inquiries, processing applications, distributing materials to reviewers, organising site visits, supporting the review and reporting process, preparing documentation for committee approval, and communication with applicants about the results of the review. This will require close liaison with staff, member organisations, reviewers, board/committee members, and external stakeholders.

Duties and key responsibilities

Education quality assurance service administration

• Act as a primary point of contact for all inquiries related to education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and CPD recognition services.
• Manage the full application process, including intake, tracking, communication with applicants, assigning reviewers, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
• Manage the annual reporting process
• Coordinate the distribution of applications and supporting materials to reviewers, ensuring timelines and procedures are followed.
• Organise and support site visits, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and communication with applicants and reviewers.
• Support reviewers throughout the evaluation process, including preparing materials, responding to questions, and ensuring adherence to governance requirements.
• Provide administrative support to reviewers in preparation of documentation for internal and committee consideration.
• Organise accreditation committee meetings.
• Prepare materials for committee approval and minutes of the committee meetings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organisational standards.
• Communicate to applicants the final outcome of the quality assurance process and issue certificates
• Maintain accurate records, files, and data related to all quality assurance activities.
• Work with Head of membership, education and development to carry out activity analysis and assess ways to improve and scale up quality assurance services.

Operational support

Manage the accreditation application and review process in the CRM (Salesforce) and CPD recognition in CEU Locker (platform currently used for the service).

Manage the data base of reviewers (eg declaration of interest, updated contact information).

Provide technical and logistical support across all education quality assurance operations for any physical or digital meetings.

Work with relevant staff to ensure that activities are set up on Teamwork® or other project management software and support their ongoing management.

Support communications activities:

• ensuring that lists of accredited programmes and approved CPD are up to date
• providing information to promote uptake of quality assurance services
• editing and formatting education quality assurance documents for house style

Liaise with different stakeholders including member organisations, regions, specialty groups and networks if necessary and as required by the Head of membership, education and development and other staff.

Maintain office systems and procedures, including data management and reporting.

Promote the image of World Physiotherapy in all activities and contribute to the overall development of the organisation undertaking any reasonable duties, as required and agreed, to support the work of World Physiotherapy.

Person specification

The education quality assurance service officer must have experience in supporting quality assurance management and administration. They must be highly organised, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in managing complex and competing demands from different sources.

It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Experience of working with senior staff, academics and boards/committees is essential. Experience working with reviewers, review boards or academic/quality assurance processes is an asset.

The individual must have a legal right to work in the UK.

SUDC UK is a national charity dedicated to funding research, raising awareness and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). Our team is passionate, warm, friendly and impact-driven.

SUDC is the sudden and unexpected death of a child aged 1-18 years where the cause of death remains unexplained despite a thorough investigation. 40 children are affected every year in the UK, more than young child deaths due to traffic accidents, fires or drowning and comparable to 1-2 seemingly healthy children dying every fortnight, often going to sleep and never waking up. 

As a specialist charity, SUDC UK informs, empowers and advocates for families when their child dies suddenly and unexpectedly. We operate nationally and have expertise in SUDC, bereavement support, the child death process, genetic investigation, SUDC research and medical screening.Founded by three bereaved parents, we have deep understanding of the impact of SUDC and loved children, and their families, are at the heart of all we do.

Women in Prison (WiP)is a national, women-led, feminist organisation.  We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as women resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.   

We are looking for a professional to join WiP’s new fundraising team which secures funding from a range of sources including individual donors, corporate supporters, and charitable trusts and foundations. This role will contribute to the foundations for Women in Prison’s ambitious fundraising plans leading on securing gifts from trusts and grants and ensuring that all secured grants are well managed and effectively reported on.  You will be responsible for identifying new funding opportunities and ensuring these are assessed and responded to in collaboration with staff across the organisation. This is a new addition to the team and you will be working alongside the current part time Trusts and Foundations Manager, Senior Fundraising Executive and Fundraising Assistant.

The Head of Communications will lead their communications nationally and support the development of strong, coherent communications in the places they work. This means holding the big picture — narrative, brand, positioning and influence — while also getting stuck into delivery: writing content, shaping campaigns, managing digital channels, and working closely with teams and partners on the ground. This is not an advisory role. The charity is an ambitious, fast paced organisation and communications is at the heart of the change - not an add on. You’ll be hands-on, collaborative and enabling — helping others find their voice, telling stories with integrity, and building belief in what’s possible when communities are trusted to lead.

The successful candidate will be a thoughtful and ambitious communications leader who cares deeply about place, people and power. This is a rare opportunity to shape the story of a growing, national organisation while staying rooted in the lived reality of local change. You will bring experience of leading communications in complex or mission-driven environments and will have strong written and editorial skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences. You will also bring experience of having worked with digital channels and understanding what drives engagement.

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. Formed in 1981, we offer information and support, for example through our website, information leaflets and webinars, and via our local support groups, Helplines and online forum.  As well as directly supporting those with endometriosis, we work to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst healthcare professionals, the public and the media; lobby for improved diagnosis, treatment and management; and support research. We have a big job to do and ambitious plans.

This role sits at the heart of Endometriosis UK working closely with the Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager, Support and Information Administrator and our Volunteer Coordinators based in England and Wales to facilitate the delivery of our support services through our network of volunteers.

At Endometriosis UK, our team of close to 200 trained volunteers are at the very heart of what we do. The empathy, generosity and commitment of our volunteers enables us to run all our support services, ensuring we can help and support all those affected by endometriosis.

The Scottish Development Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring we support and grow a thriving volunteer network, this involves working with the team to recruit, mobilise and inspire volunteers in their chosen roles. The Scottish Development Coordinator will ensure volunteers are supported at every stage of their journey to ensure those accessing our support services are well supported whilst ensuring the volunteer contributions are recognised and their achievements celebrated.

The post holder will help to expand our reach in Scotland to help raise the charity’s profile and ensure we are delivering vital supportive services to everyone affected by in Scotland this includes work with the wider team to develop exciting new projects to achieve our ambitious goals.

The International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation (IPWSO) is seeking a talented and motivated CEO who will deliver our organisational strategy which aims to improve the lives of all those affected by a rare genetically determined disorder called Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). 

The role of CEO at IPWSO is both challenging and rewarding. You can help deliver change for people affected by PWS from across the globe by helping us build solidarity, promoting scientific reasoning and research, helping to foster new relationships, supporting our members, and striving for equality for everyone affected by the syndrome.

You will work alongside passionate volunteers and experts in PWS from across all continents and with a skilled and small staff team based in the UK. We are all dedicated to making a tangible difference!
