This role will lead the project management, marketing and delivery of a significant portion of Sands’ virtual events portfolio, ensuring each challenge is delivered effectively and contributes to the growth of our fundraising income. You will manage multiple events from concept to completion, creating motivating digital experiences that bring supporters together and inspire them to fundraise.

You will help strengthen Sands’ online presence by providing excellent stewardship across a range of digital channels, building positive relationships with large and diverse audiences. Using an omnichannel approach, you will deliver a world‑class supporter experience that helps participants reach and exceed their fundraising targets, increases long‑term engagement and maximises lifetime value.

Working closely with the Digital Fundraising Manager, you will monitor trends within the virtual challenge landscape and identify opportunities to innovate, adapt and ensure Sands remains a leader within the sector.

As an integral member of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Administrator will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activity based around the centre, in order to maximise income for Maggie’s.

Main Responsibilities:

The role and its impact

This is a part-time CEO role providing hands-on leadership so CCE can deliver projects well, support volunteers, and build strong partnerships. Working with the Board, you will help move projects from early-stage development through to installation and reporting.

• Act as a primary point of contact for all inquiries related to education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and CPD recognition services.

• providing information to promote uptake of quality assurance services
• editing and formatting education quality assurance documents for house style

Liaise with different stakeholders including member organisations, regions, specialty groups and networks if necessary and as required by the Head of membership, education and development and other staff.

Maintain office systems and procedures, including data management and reporting.

Promote the image of World Physiotherapy in all activities and contribute to the overall development of the organisation undertaking any reasonable duties, as required and agreed, to support the work of World Physiotherapy.

Person specification

The education quality assurance service officer must have experience in supporting quality assurance management and administration. They must be highly organised, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in managing complex and competing demands from different sources.

It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Experience of working with senior staff, academics and boards/committees is essential. Experience working with reviewers, review boards or academic/quality assurance processes is an asset.

About the role

A key role leading the risk, performance and legal functions within Frontline AIDS. The role embeds a risk management approach across all organisation functions, ensures best practice in compliance, contractual management and data protection. ​Works closely with others to ensure consistent and effective programme delivery practice. ​The role spearheads business continuity planning and security management.

We are looking for an inspirational manager who will bring significant experience and a track-record of delivering risk management plans in large complex organisations. You will be passionate about driving forward improvements in the system of internal controls, risk management and governance across the organisation. With strong analytical skills and proven experience of risk management leadership, you will lead and develop our response to anti-corruption, safeguarding, security, health & safety, and other concerns.

As an experienced leader, you will be effective at developing strong relationships with teams across the organisation.  You are committed to fostering a high performance culture, and will delegate thoughtfully to give colleagues real accountability and authority.

We’ve been on the frontline of the world’s response to HIV and AIDS for over 25 years, working with marginalised people who are denied HIV prevention and treatment simply because of who they are and where they live.

Set up in 1993 to work with community groups in the countries most affected by the global AIDS epidemic, we’ve continually adapted our approach, looking for innovative ways to break down the barriers that marginalise people living with, or at risk of acquiring, HIV. We are looking for someone who has:

• Qualified to degree level in a relevant field to risk management and compliance.
• Post-graduate and/or professional qualification in a relevant field, including accounting, law, audit, or risk
• Extensive experience of working in a risk management/compliance/assurance function within a sizeable organisation, with strategic and operational accountability.
• Experience of managing and maintaining a risk case management system to ensure appropriate management of issues.
• Experience in developing and managing programme oversight and governance mechanisms that drive consistent approaches and strong performance.
• Experience of rolling out dedicated risk management and compliance training and supporting and guiding staff in developing risk registers and appropriate mitigating actions for risks.
• Experience of contract review and drafting of new clauses for contracts
• Experience of working with international donor rules and requirements and supporting/guiding project teams in managing projects in accordance with these rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of best practice in process review and improvement.
• Senior Experience in setting, reviewing, simplifying organisational policies and procedures and encouraging compliance.

We believe in people power, and through a combination of disrupting the political system and organising in our communities, we are working to make the Green New Deal an era-defining political demand.

In our small, agile staff team, you'll own real responsibility early, contribute to shaping our direction, and watch your work make an immediate impact.

As part of our multi-year strategy, we have ambitious plans to mobilise young people, disrupt politics, and force this government, and those that follow, to deliver transformative change. Campaigning will be central to this: shaping the narrative, escalating pressure, and converting people power into political concessions.

You will design and deliver impactful campaign interventions, both on the ground and digitally, and support our movement to do the same. You will be a creative thinker with strong written communication skills, good political judgement, and a desire to get our demands into the news cycle and onto the political agenda.

Alongside general campaigning work, you will play a key role in parliamentary organising: supporting advocacy with MPs, helping integrate political champions into our campaigns, and ensuring our campaigning activity creates meaningful pressure inside and outside Westminster.

This role sits within the Campaigns team and will be managed by our Senior Campaigner.
