We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our exciting new project, working with those engaging in gambling harms behaviours and affected others. The role will include various workstreams to the service, including: crisis de-escalation, casework, psychoeducation workshops and facilitating a space for peer-led activities.

Your role as a support worker will be to de-escalate those in a state of crisis which is exacerbated or influenced by gambling related behaviours. You will be expected to manage crises within a drop-in model. You will be expected to hold your own caseload of clients, providing 1:1 bespoke advice surrounding gambling and mental health support. In addition, you will aid in facilitating peer-led psychoeducation groups addressing root causes of gambling and a safe environment for loved ones to build meaningful peer connections. You will be joining a small team and be expected to work in partnership with your peer support workers and service lead. We are seeking autonomous, creative individuals with experiences of working with behaviours around addiction.

We’re looking for two new High Value Events Manager’s to lead the operational oversight of this programme and ensure our events create meaningful, high-impact experiences that support our wider fundraising goals. 

What does this role do?
As High Value Events Manager, you'll:

• provide strategic oversight of an allocated portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences, ensuring activity is well planned, of exceptional quality and aligned with wider income and engagement objectives.

What you’ll be doing

As our Supporter Services Team Leader, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the team and help deliver a high-quality, responsive service across income processing, supporter administration and operational support.

• Managing and supporting a small Supporter Services team on a day-to-day basis
• Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of donations, Gift Aid and supporter data
• Maintaining strong operational controls and high standards of data accuracy

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Specialist – Super Pollutants to join their team in London, Delhi or Accra. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.   

The Specialist – Super Pollutants will help to deliver the Clean Air Fund’s mission by providing scientific expertise and science communications support to the Super Pollutants portfolio on black carbon and tropospheric ozone initiatives, and other core work areas. This includes the design and management of philanthropic projects and partnerships that require technical input, research and analysis spanning climate science and health impacts, and designing and reviewing communications that are scientifically accurate and accessible.

What We’re Looking For

Beyond your essential research experience in climate and health science, in particular experience working on black carbon, tropospheric ozone or other super pollutants, you will:

• Demonstrate your ability to think strategically.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to efficiently explain and discuss complex topics in layman’s terms.

Essential technical competencies

• Masters/PhD in science/engineering or equivalent experience with proven research experience in linking air pollution-climate-health science, in particular, experience working on black carbon, tropospheric ozone or other super pollutants.
