About the role:

As an Outreach Support Worker, you will provide flexible, community-based support to adults with learning disabilities who live in their own homes, with family, or in supported living settings. Your focus will be on enabling each person to live as independently as possible while achieving their individual goals and aspirations.

The Outreach Support Worker will build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect, taking time to understand each person’s strengths, preferences, communication style, and support needs. Support may include developing independent living skills such as meal planning and preparation, budgeting and money management, travel training, maintaining a tenancy, and accessing healthcare services.  It may also involve accompanying individuals to social groups, volunteering opportunities, college courses, employment placements, faith groups, or recreational activities. The post holder will actively promote social inclusion, confidence-building, and the development of meaningful relationships.

The role requires accurate record-keeping, maintaining clear communication with your team, and following safeguarding, health and safety, and medication policies at all times. You will be expected to respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations, using positive behaviour support approaches where required.

This is a community-based role, so flexibility is essential. You may be required to work earlies, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis to meet the needs of the people we support.  You will work in partnership with families, carers, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to support.

The short breaks service offers crisis and planned stays to adults with learning disabilities in Kensington. The Team Leaders manage our short breaks service ensuring safe, person-centred, and high-quality support for adults with learning disabilities. 

About the role:

The Team Leader is responsible for offering a creative and flexible response to ever changing complex demands which include meeting guest’s needs within the environment. We require experienced Team Leaders to help run the short breaks service.

The Team Leader acts as the “person in charge” for the service during their shift — coordinating staff deployment, managing admissions and discharges, ensuring accurate recording and communication, and promoting a positive and enabling environment for guests and staff. 

We require x4 Team leaders and each team leader will work a 5-day week (37.5 hours per week) with a mixture of days, evenings, nights and weekends on a rota basis.  Weekends will rotate approximately working 1 to 2 weekends per month.  Team Leaders will work 1 week of nights shifts approximately every 6 weeks. The people we support require team members that can work flexibly as they will need support through the day and the night.

Team Leader supports the Registered Service Manager to ensure that your team deliver on quality improvement, and safeguarding, managing the budget of the service and the personal finances of people you support. You lead the management of Health and Safety in the service.  The role requires you to create a harmonious, open, and positive working environment, where people are confident to speak up. 

The role requires you to work with people who need assistance with every aspect of daily living, supporting complex health conditions, assisting people with sensory loss and communication challenges as well as with people who are significantly more independent but vulnerable to coercion and control and who may reject support. Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness services. What will you be doing?

Manage caseload efficiently and effectively in line with The FA policies, procedures, regulations, protocols and thresholds:

Charity People is supporting a well-established UK health charity to recruit a Design Support Temp.
This national charity works to improve health outcomes through research, awareness campaigns and practical support. Their work reaches millions of people across the UK, and their in-house creative team plays a key role in delivering clear, engaging and accessible communications across print and digital channels.

About The role
This is a short-term temporary opportunity to support a busy in-house design team during a period of change. You'll work closely with senior designers to produce high-quality, on-brand creative assets across a wide range of channels.

• Producing print and digital assets in line with established brand guidelines
• Creating social media assets, email banners and website banners
• Adapting and resizing artwork for multiple formats
• Preparing artwork for print (handover only - no printer liaison required)
• Managing multiple projects concurrently using Trello
• Liaising with internal stakeholders once work is approved

About you:

• A confident, hands-on designer able to pick up work quickly
• Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator essential)
• Comfortable working independently with minimal hand-holding
• Experience producing both print and digital assets
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal stakeholders
• Able to work at pace in a high-volume environment
• Experience working in a charity or purpose-led organisation (desirable, not essential)
• Background in in-house teams or fast-paced environments
• Light animation skills (very basic transitions only)

• We are seeking an experienced Interim Events Fundraising Officer to provide additional support to our friendly and passionate Events Fundraising team over the next 12 months.

• The role will involve delivering a range of UK‑wide challenge events from our established events portfolio.

• The role sits within the Events team in the Mass Supporter Giving department, which generates over £1.3 million in income.

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As an Arboricultural Officer, you will survey and record all aspects of the tree stock to protect the natural landscape and maintain a safe environment for our visitors.

Carrying out accurate tree inspections, you’ll diagnose and assess the impacts of injury, decay and structural defects. You’ll support the mitigation and management of pests and diseases, particularly Massaria of London Plane and Oak Processionary Moth.

You’ll also work with the Wildlife and Conservation Officers to develop and implement park strategies and management plans and to create and maintain critical wildlife habitats.

Additionally, you will:

• Liaise with contractors to prioritise areas of risk
• Ensure works are carried out in adherence to specifications, on time and within budget
• Adhere to existing working practices, methods and procedures
• Provide technical Arboricultural support

About You

To be considered as an Arboricultural Officer, you will need:

• Experience in the inspection, risk assessment and management of a wide range of trees
• Experience surveying and managing Massaria (Splanchnonema platani)
• Experience in the application of British Standards relating to trees
• An understanding of nature conservation issues, SSSI status and protected species legislation relating to Arboriculture and trees
• Excellent identification ability of a wide range of amenity trees
• Excellent knowledge in the identification and prognosis of a wide range of pest and diseases and fungal fruit bodies
• To hold, or be willing to work towards, an Arboricultural Association Professional Tree Inspection Certificate
• A NVQ Level Three (NQF Level IV) qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
• A full, valid driving licence
