As Head of Communications and Brand at the Harris Federation, you will shape and protect our public profile, leading strategic communications, marketing and media activity across a network of 55 academies.

• Create comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that align with the Federations aims and increase brand awareness.
• Own and develop high impact external campaigns to support pupil recruitment, reputation and trust building, staff recruitment (in collaboration with Talent Acquisition), and new academy expansions.

MarComms Directorate Leadership

• Build and lead a high performing Marketing & Communications Directorate.
• Set long-term capability requirements and lead workforce planning as the function scales.

About us 

The Ben Kinsella Trust is one of the UK’s leading anti-knife crime charities. We were set up following the tragic murder of 16-year-old Ben Kinsella in 2008, and everything we do is guided by his legacy. Our mission is to prevent knife crime through education and campaigning. 

Ben was a kind, creative young person who loved art, music, Arsenal FC, and making people laugh. He had big dreams of becoming a graphic designer. His death was a senseless act of violence, and the outpouring of grief and public support that followed marked the start of a movement. Ben’s own words, written shortly before his death, called for change, and his voice continues to inspire our work.  

Through immersive workshops in our Choices and Consequences Exhibitions and free online resources, we have reached over 50,000 young people so far. Our work challenges myths about knife crime, strengthens peer influence, and sparks meaningful conversations. About the Role 

We are looking for an education or youth work professional who can deliver our programmes to a very high standard. You will be a skilled facilitator and communicator who can engage with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Additionally, we are seeking someone who shares our values and is passionate about using education as a tool to support and empower young people and to stop knife crime. 

As Youth Programmes Officer you will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of our flagship knife crime prevention workshops to young people, to a high standard. You will work alongside the Programmes team to ensure workshops at our London exhibitions (currently Islington and Barking & Dagenham) operate smoothly and consistently to serve young people through the achievement of quality outcomes and maximised engagement. You will play a key part in the delivery of our Youth Ambassador Programme and contribute to the development of new programmes and opportunities during an exciting period of growth for the charity.

Job title: The Social Change Nest Financial Controller (Client Funds)

Role Purpose:

This role sits at the heart of our financial controls at the Social Change Nest and combines cash management oversight, payment operations and financial compliance. However, this is not a traditional Financial Controller position. You will work with the team to ensure robust financial controls, accurate reconciliations, secure payment processes and transparent reporting for our diverse portfolio of social impact clients. You will also be a key driver of operational improvement, identifying better ways of working as we scale.

The Social Change Nest (SCN) is a fiscal hosting organisation that removes the financial and administrative barriers preventing grassroots groups and informal movements from accessing funding. Since 2021, we have supported 700+ groups across the UK and internationally, helping them access over £50 million in funding for causes ranging from climate and housing to racial justice and social wellbeing. We also work closely with funders, providing Grant Distribution and Fund Management services, enabling us to support social action with confidence and transparency. Key Responsibilities:

1. Payment Processes & Systems Management

●Own and optimise the end-to-end payment infrastructure (banking platforms, expense management tools, Open Collective platform and accounting system integrations)

Reporting to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will identify, assess and manage contract and funding opportunities. You'll lead the development of compelling, high-quality and cost-effective bids and proposals (including re-securing existing contracts), coordinating bid plans and bid teams to ensure a consistent approach. You will also support mobilisation of new contracts and services and build relationships with commissioners, funders and partners. Using insight, outcomes data and carers' feedback, you'll strengthen bids, inform service improvement and support the development of innovative service models that improve outcomes for carers.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong track record of securing new contracts and re-securing existing contracts, with experience of commissioning and procurement processes in health, social care or the voluntary sector. You'll have proven experience of leading bid development activity and bid teams, producing high-quality, persuasive proposals to tight deadlines, alongside strong senior stakeholder engagement skills with commissioners, funders and partner organisations. You'll bring a good understanding of health and care systems (including Local Authority and Integrated Care System priorities and pressures), plus experience of service design and improvement, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and people with lived experience.

Harris Hill is seeking an Individual Giving Manager ASAP for 3-6 months, to replace a leaver and interim recruitment period. 

This is a hybrid role, working 1-2dpw in the office, will pay £38-45kpa, and will consider 4 or 5dpw total. The role is also open to possible permanent application when they recruit.

The responsibilities for the interim will include:

Keep the wheels on the current programme

Form part of the panel of Senior IG Officer recruitment

Review and make recommendations for current programme

Complete with support of Head a feasibility study of utilising agencies - we currently do most things inhouse 

Project manage the transition of our lottery product to a new supplier (it currently sits inhouse and within our current CRM, but is not going to be housed within our new CRM)

Develop and start to implement a Regular Giving programme - it is one of the highest performing income streams in the programme, but no stewardship or upgrade activity is happening.

We are in the middle of CRM transition from DonorFlex to Beacon - don't need to have experience of either, just have good experience of using CRMs to best practise

The current programme is not very sophisticated - no AB testing, very little outsourcing, status of data has limited progress but current workarounds drain resource. So - amazing opportunity for an interim to come in and revolutionise the programme pretty easily

The Centre for Progressive Change is looking for a Safe Sick Pay Campaign Director that will be part of the newly formed Executive Team. This is an exciting time to be joining the campaign, as we capitalise on our successes so far and plan for our next big policy gain - increasing the rate of Statutory Sick Pay.

• Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally as a COO, Head of Operations or Director of Operations in a charity, social enterprise or purpose-driven organisation.

• Demonstrable track record of building and improving operational infrastructure: systems, processes, policies and ways of working that make organisations more effective and resilient.

• Proven people management experience, including line management of senior staff, performance development, recruitment and team culture-building.

• Strong financial literacy, including experience of budget management, grant compliance, financial reporting and working with a board finance function.

• Experience of leading or supporting governance processes, including board reporting, risk management and compliance.

The Role
Position: Community Fundraiser
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part-time or compressed hours can be considered)
Location: Homebased covering West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, East Sussex and Kent
Travel: To support with events and volunteers, this role requires regular travel. 

You'll raise awareness of Canine Partners in the South of England and maximise income from diverse community sources. A proactive approach is key to showcasing our work and charitable goals.

• Focus on both stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones, ensuring an exceptional donor experience throughout
• Act as the entry point for long term supporters and be responsible for the visible presence in the community

• Contribute to the wider national Community Fundraising direction

About You

• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships with volunteers, supporters, and/or external stakeholders/audiences

We are looking for a strategic, values-driven and analytical Systems Improvement & Learning Lead to strengthen the effectiveness, consistency and impact of domestic abuse services across London, ensuring meaningful safeguarding outcomes for victims and survivors.

This role is full-time and hybrid, with a minimum of one day per week in the office and occasional travel across London to engage with partners and services.

As a Systems Improvement & Learning Lead, you will be a senior leader within our Pan London Domestic Abuse Service, sitting on the Domestic Abuse Leadership Team and reporting to the Head of Service.

You will lead system improvement, learning and operational excellence across our London services, with a specific focus on MARAC practice and impact, high-risk harm and homicide prevention, learning from Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDRs), and equity, access and cultural competence.

This role combines strategic challenge with operational leadership. It requires credibility with frontline practitioners, confidence with senior leaders, and persistence where systems resist change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a senior point of contact for statutory and voluntary sector partners, providing constructive challenge and system leadership on safeguarding priorities.
• Lead pan-London continuous improvement activity, using data, frontline insight and review learning to drive consistency, quality and impact across services.
• Use system data, frontline insight and survivor narratives to identify risk, challenge ineffective practice and improve outcomes.
• Act as a credible senior partner to statutory and voluntary agencies, providing constructive challenge on safeguarding effectiveness.
• Analyse MARAC practice across London, identifying variation in thresholds, models, decision-making and follow-up, to drive meaningful improvement.
• Ensure MARAC participation is risk-focused and proportionate, promoting effective multi-agency safeguarding action beyond formal meetings.
• Provide operational leadership and line management, ensuring high standards of safeguarding, supervision, wellbeing and professional accountability.
• Champion equity, access and culturally competent practice, addressing systemic barriers to safety.

About You:

Ideally, you will be an experienced system leader with a strong operational background in domestic abuse and safeguarding. You will bring credibility, analytical rigour and the confidence to challenge established practice constructively, while maintaining effective partnerships across complex, multi-agency environments.

This is not a coordination, compliance or meeting-management role - it is a role for someone prepared to lead change where it matters most.
