Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, The Premises Officer will be responsible for the security of the building and the safety of staff and learners, when on duty. The post is to cover evening shifts at the school, 5-10pm during the term dates and various additional hours to cover annual leave out of term dates, including the weekends.

Main Duties/Responsibilities 

• Set up studios as required, directed by the Operations Manager or the Curriculum Manager. 
• As directed, maintains the security of the School and the safety applying the closed down procedure at the end of each day , students and staff have safe access, unexpected visitors and contractors show identification and sign a visitor book; reports all incidents e.g. security breaches, threatening behaviour, theft to the Operations Manager or the most senior officer on duty. 
• Ensure all of the facilities, studios and teaching spaces are prepared ready for each class throughout the School's opening hours e.g. putting away equipment, cables, turning off heaters, clearing studios of rubbish, emptying bins, any cleaning as required during operational hours. 
• Assumes full responsibility for the building and the safety of students in the absence of more senior staff, contacting the Key Holder (Operations Manager/Head of School) in the case of an emergency. 
• Assists the Operations Manager with minor repairs as required. 
• Assists with the delivery, unpacking and storing of stock and stores. 
• Operate the school Art Shop and sell a range of art materials to students at designated hours, and refreshments to students in the evenings and at weekends, if required. 
• Handles cash accurately, including use of cash tills and credit card payments, maintaining security of cash and stock at all times. 
• Assist and contribute to key school events including operational tasks related to them such as setting up exhibitions, and technical support for tutors in using IT facilities for teaching and learning equipment. 
• General administrative and operational duties including taking payments from students for fees and materials, using the school MIS system to enrols students, ensuring that all details are inputted correctly to ensure accurate record keeping and check course information on the school website and make necessary updates.

About the role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40+ year history. Over the last two years support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP, including individuals, trusts, foundations and corporates. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. We’re looking for a strategic and people‑focused leader to head up our Supporter Operations and Insights team. A newly expanded team, this senior role will ensure our supporters receive an outstanding experience, while overseeing supporter operations, supplier management, data quality and insights. Supporter care, stewardship and engagement

• Recruit, manage and support guests attending Back Up’s high-profile special events, delivering a seamless and memorable experience from invitation to follow-up.
• Work closely with the Partnerships Team to engage, steward and strengthen relationships with corporate partners and sponsors connected to special events.

Context and Background

The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of its annual income. Within Income Generation, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible donor experience by building long -term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.

The Mass Participation Team (MPT) is an important part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships department within the Engagement and Fundraising directorate. MPT is responsible for attracting new supporters through our mass participation events and products to maximise fundraised income, and to optimise onward journeys to retain supporters within the NSPCC family.

The Mass Participation Team focuses on three areas of fundraising;

• Third party events – sporting and challenge events organised by third party suppliers, where we market spaces, recruit participants and support them in raising money in aid of the NSPCC. For example, the TCS London Marathon, Cardiff Half Marathon, Ultra Challenge series, skydives, bespoke treks.
• Schools Fundraising – a suite of fundraising products tailored to schools across all educational settings, including Number Day, the Kindness Challenge and Classmaster.
• DIY fundraising – supporters who choose to organise their own fundraising event or activity. Whether they take part with family or friends, at work or at school, we support them through stewardship and fundraising materials to help them reach their fundraising goals.

Job purpose

The role of the Fundraiser is to manage a number of events in the third party events portfolio. The Fundraiser will be responsible for working as a proactive member of the team to ensure that the participation levels and net income from each event/activity are maximised. The key aspects of the role are:

• To project manage specific event activities, co -ordinate cross fundraising activity, develop materials, keep track of budgets and evaluate as appropriate
• To develop specific activities and build existing activities to increase participation and income.
• Work closely with the team manager to identify and implement new opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness.

The Finance Partner provides day-to-day financial management, reporting and business partnering support across the Royal Court Theatre (English Stage Company Ltd or ESC), a charity with two commercial companies. The role works closely with the Finance Manager, Finance Director and Bar and Kitchen General Manager as well as other departmental managers to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and fit for purpose.

A key focus will be the Catering Company. You will support robust financial controls, deliver key payroll and banking processes, and help maintain an effective operational link between the Catering subsidiary and charity, enabling informed decision-making and strong financial stewardship. Keeping up to date with finance and payroll software advances and integrations, the Finance Partner will also review and report on efficiencies and improvements across our finance functions.

About the role

This senior leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapeutic support for survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

As Head of Clinical Services, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering individual therapy, group work, body-based therapies and web-based counselling within WGN’s intersectional Black feminist framework and Holistic Empowerment Recovery (HER) Model. I am working with a prominent UK Housing Association that invests heavily into its homes and relationships, both internally and with external stakeholders. They provide communities with homes they can be proud of and take great pride in their customer service. They are looking to appoint a Year End Financial Accountant to join their supportive and dynamic team environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in coordinating the audit process and supporting the organisation through a busy year-end period.

The role requires a highly organised individual, ideally with a housing background, who is technically strong and comfortable working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Support the project management of the year-end and external audit process, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and targets are met

• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit requests, responding to queries, and chasing and validating required information

• Support the preparation and review of year-end accounts, including financial analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and the production and quality review of financial statements

• Build strong working relationships across the business, proactively managing stakeholders to obtain information, provide progress updates, and ensure technical and reporting requirements are met

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant, ideally with experience managing an audit or from a practice background

• Housing Association experience

• Strong Excel skills and confidence using a range of financial systems

• Highly organised, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

Hoxton Health helps hundreds of local people to manage long term conditions and stay mobile and independent as they age.  We are seeking a new director for our calm and friendly complementary therapy clinic based in St Leonards community hospital.

About Us
Hoxton Health is a well-valued local charity, established over 30 years ago, providing low-cost complementary therapy treatments for older people and those with long term conditions. We fundraise and build partnerships to subsidise treatments, offering lower costs to older patients. Based in St Leonard’s Hospital in Hackney, our friendly team consists of independent practitioners delivering therapies through the week, two other part-time office staff, and a team of volunteers who run the reception.

What will you be doing?
The Centre Director is responsible for the management of all aspects of the organisation's operations and development – internally and externally.
This includes:

• Governance and strategy, including support for Trustee Board
• Oversee smooth running of the clinic
• Finance and fundraising
• Staff management
• Monitoring and evaluation of grant funding
• Development of new projects
• Partnership engagement with other agencies

The clinic is small but busy, with varied days and experiences. We foster a friendly and supportive environment for both our patients and team members. Leadership, guidance and inspiration for this must start with the Centre Director’s work and influence.

Our Client is recruiting a Head of Major Giving, and Prospectus is leading the search. 

Head of Major Giving 

Permanent, Full time (30 hours over 4 days) 

Flexible across England, Wales and Northern Ireland 

Salary: £49,202-£53,252 per annum (regional) / £52,500-£56,550 per annum (London) 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced team leader and high value fundraiser to join at a pivotal moment. Reporting into the Director of Income Generation, the Head of Major Giving will lead a passionate and well-established team spanning Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations, Strategic Partnerships and Events. With 12 people in the team and five direct reports, you'll set direction, inspire high performance and play a key role in championing a culture of philanthropy and partnerships across the organisation. 

You will be responsible for developing and delivering the Major Giving strategy, driving significant income growth and pipeline development. Central to the role will be retaining and deepening relationships with loyal supporters, while attracting new, long-term funders; refreshing stewardship and cultivation approaches to deliver ambitious growth plans and ensure Friends of the Earth has the resources to respond to an evolving external landscape. 

To be successful, you will bring demonstrable experience of income growth and pipeline development, alongside a strong track record of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve high, sustainable performance. You can bring experience in one or more high value funding streams (Major Donors, Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships). You'll be highly collaborative, confident building relationships cross-organisationally, and an excellent networker. Experience of, or knowledge of campaigning organisations and/or organisations going through strategic change would be an advantage.
