Our Client is a UK charity supporting vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Through supported housing, a helpline and counselling service, and practical, non-judgemental support, this Charity helps pregnant women, often aged 16-25 and in crisis due to homelessness, abuse, or other trauma, build safer, more stable futures. Grounded in the universal values of Humanity, Solidarity, Community, Charity and the Common Good, the Charity is strengthening philanthropy to increase impact nationwide. The team is now looking to appoint a Philanthropy Manager, and Prospectus is leading the search.

Philanthropy Manager

Part time, 21 hours per week over 3 days

Home-based with frequent travel to supporter locations; occasional travel to Leamington Spa Head Office

£36,000-£40,000 per annum (FTE)

The Philanthropy Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of dedicated major donors, developing inspiring, personalised supporter journeys that deepen engagement and secure repeat and increased gifts. Working within a committed and supportive team, you'll raise awareness of the Charity's services, build mutually beneficial relationships, and deliver sustainable long-term support through thoughtful cultivation, compelling proposals, and excellent stewardship.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working closely with the Individual Giving Manager and wider fundraising colleagues, you will proactively identify and research prospects, plan targeted approaches, and lead solicitations. The role will also engage with senior church contacts (e.g. Archbishops and diocesan representatives) who have a history of support; while the Charity is non-religious and non-political, you'll bring sensitivity and confidence operating within these settings to advance shared philanthropic goals.

The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of securing four- and five-figure gifts, crafting persuasive cases for support, and managing high-value pipelines from identification to stewardship. You'll be a collaborative relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication, rigorous research skills, and the ability to tailor engagement for diverse audiences while upholding the Charity's values and client-centred ethos.

Our adviser teams work within local areas providing a wide range of expert information and guidance, via a variety of channels including community settings. You’ll provide a personalised service that enables appropriate levels of self-advocacy and/ or advocate on behalf of clients, signposting to other services as relevant. 

You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible and to take an active role in their treatment becoming their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible.

• Provide in depth, person centred information and guidance to clients by a range of means, including community settings, and ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources in line with service policy. 

• Respond to enquiries through a range of channels and areas based on service need, keeping accurate, up to date online client records in line with practice.

• Recognise and respond to potential safeguarding situations using established procedures 

• Provide information on a variety of health and social care issues, including appropriate emotional support, employment support, employment and welfare benefits guidance and advocating with and on behalf of clients

• Maintain relationships and partnerships within internal and external teams and in a range of settings and ways to achieve the best outcomes of clients

The Digital Acquisition Advisor will take the lead in planning, delivering, and optimising paid search campaigns (across Google and Microsoft) and paid social activity, with a particular emphasis on Meta platforms, to advance Christian Aid’s mission. Leveraging your expertise in digital strategy and performance marketing, you’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to run data-informed campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and increase income.
You’ll be responsible for setting performance targets, managing budgets, and using analytics to continually improve campaign effectiveness. Around 80% of campaign delivery will be managed in-house, with the remaining 20% delivered through external partners — all under your direction to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and high standards.
This role plays a key part in Christian Aid’s digital growth, focused on delivering tangible results and maximising return on investment across all paid channels.

The Role

The Events Assistant will provide administrative and event delivery support to the Head of Events and the Events Coordinator in the planning and delivery of physical and virtual meetings, events and courses.

• Providing administrative support including processing payments, handling enquiries, and producing post event reports.

The Person

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach. You should come to us with experience working in an events environment, or the completion of an Events Management course.

This promises to be an exciting and busy role so you will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to multitask effectively demonstrating a high level of customer service skills.

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. We’ve made a significant investment in our Microsoft suite and have transitioned services to Azure. We’re also building a cloud infrastructure to support the Organisation’s mission critical data use improvement project.

Our Infrastructure Systems Manager plays a crucial role in the development, support and maintenance of these systems, implementing the tools and technology we need as well as driving the reduction of IT costs where possible.

This role is responsible for:

• Maintenance of technical infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies
• Automated process creation to ensure systems are monitored and managed
• Migration of remaining on premise systems to Microsoft cloud based solutions
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary
• Ensuring systems are highly accessible and available
• Advice to the Organisation on best practice on technology

For this role we’re looking for:

• Broad expert technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure based on both cloud and on premise Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology

From facing everyday vaccinations to the most serious of surgeries and chronic conditions, all children experience varying degrees of apprehension and fear. Feeling scared, powerless, or anxious in healthcare settings doesn’t just trigger a child’s emotions; it can create traumas that impact treatment success and that can have a life-long impact. Starlight’s aim is to transform children’s health through better experiences, by putting play at the heart of every child’s healthcare.

Evidence shows that play in healthcare can reduce anxiety, fear and even pain; it helps children engage and prepare for their treatment and cope better with procedures; it minimises trauma and contributes to a better experience; and supports children to have some sense of agency and control in an environment where these opportunities are limited. Play can also reduce the number of attempts to deliver treatment, the need for sedation and the need for repeat appointments. Prioritising children’s right to play in healthcare results in healthier, happier children who are involved in their own healing and recovery as well as more efficient treatment and care.

Detention Action is a small organisation with a big impact. Since 1993, we have worked to improve the welfare of people in detention centres and tirelessly campaign alongside our beneficiaries to reduce the use of immigration detention. We work on the frontline with people in immigration detention, as well as challenging injustices in asylum, detention and deportation systems in the UK.

We are looking for a Casework Coordinator to join our organisation. Working as part of the Casework team, our successful candidate will be responsible, both directly and through working with volunteers, for casework and emotional support for people detained under immigration powers.

The Role: Global Data Officer
As Global Data Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening the availability and use of high-quality data for decision-making at PEAS. You’ll work across both our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Data Development teams, combining strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and Excel with a passion for using data to drive impact. You’ll support teams to understand and interpret data, develop dashboards to unlock real-time insights, and coordinate research and evaluations that shape our programmes and improve outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of MEL workplans across all countries of operation.
• Guide the development and rollout of MEL tools and processes for data collection and analysis.
• Quality assure data analysis and conduct ad hoc special projects.
• Work with the Data Developer to roll out the PEAS Real Time Learning (RTL) tool and maintain data platforms.
• Develop and maintain Databricks pipelines for data extraction, loading, and transformation.
• Provide professional development support to MEL colleagues globally and coordinate MEL Global calls.
• Support external research, evaluations, and reporting commitments.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, sciences, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Python and SQL.
• Skills in data or statistical analysis, with the ability to create high-quality data visualisations.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a data role, or a graduate with a strong desire to move into data sciences.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a passion for using technical solutions to achieve PEAS’ mission.
• Experience in education programmes in low-resource settings (Uganda, Zambia, Ghana) is desirable but not essential.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a talented Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records and handle financial operations in the charity.

Core duties include processing all routing transactions encompassing supplier invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, petty cash, credit cards and treasury management. You will also make payments, prepare our in-house payroll and submit pension returns. 

You will work closely with our Finance Director to support the month end close while complying with and upholding the Charity’s policies and procedures. 

 Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally have worked for a charity and be familiar with Xero. You will also have at least one of the following: 

• A relevant qualification such as an accountancy or business degree
• Part or fully qualified with an accountancy body, such as the AAT
• Demonstrative qualification by experience.

Required skills 

• Proven bookkeeping experience in a similar enviroment 
• Solid understanding of financial operations in a SME environment 
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records 
• Accurate data entry skills along with an eye for numbers 
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office 
• Qualified to degree level, or partly or fully qualified with an accountancy body, or demonstrable QBE 

Person specification 

• Highly organised

Responsibilities

Process all financial transactions in our finance IMS (Xero) accurately and promptly encompassing: 

• Accounts payable 
• Employee and volunteer expense claims 
• Sales invoices, grants, donations and other income 
• Bank transactions 
• Petty cash 
• Credit cards
• Download bank records into the IMS and reconcile all bank accounts 
• Monitor savings and move funds between accounts ensuring that we comply with our investment policy 
• Operate credit control on the sales ledger and issue payment receipts to customers and donors 
• Make payments to creditors and settle expense claims 
• Prepare payroll to draft status, pay staff and HMRC, report pension contributions 
• Electronically store all required records in line with statutory requirements 
• Update contacts and restricted fund profiles in the finance IMS 
• Make Gift Aid claims 
• Operate within the Charity’s financial procedures and prevailing accounting standards 

Support the Finance Director with any of the following: 

• Operating restricted funds 
• Balance sheet reconciliations 
• Financial reporting (internal/external) 
• Budgeting and forecasting 
• Statutory reporting
