As Trusts & Grants Fundraiser (Interim), you will play a key role in driving income from trusts, grant funders, and statutory bodies to support the organisation. Working closely with the Senior Trusts & Grants Fundraiser, you will identify, research, and approach funding bodies, leading on specific applications and contributing to larger bids.

The organisation are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in bid writing and reporting, and the ability to research and identify new funding opportunities. You’ll be highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities, and able to build strong relationships with funders through outstanding stewardship.

What you’ll do

1. Internal communications (~2.5 days per week)

As our Internal Communications and Events Lead, you will play a key role in engaging, informing, and inspiring our team with what’s happening at Unifrog. You’ll also help us to work even better together, and to retain a happy and effective team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coordinate our whole team commss

  • Deliver our internal comms strategy, work towards our People team goal and objectives, and use our House Style.

  • Create our monthly internal Unifrog newsletter, writing your own segments, editing other people’s contributions, and evaluating engagement.

  • Collate data from team surveys and work with the People and Leadership teams to put ideas from the team into action.

• Improve the way that we communicate and work together:

  • Share best practice and deliver training on our comms tools (e.g. Slack, Gmail, Asana).

  • Research, trial and introduce new comms tools or upgrades where appropriate, training the team on how to use them.

  • Join our AI working group, whose goal is to support the team to use AI more effectively (e.g. leading training, sharing use-cases from across Unifrog).

  • Support teams with communication challenges (e.g. streamlining comms traffic).

  • Support team members to easily find the best contact for different questions and tasks.

• Manage our existing comms tools:

  • Audit our usage and budget to make sure we’re maximising value.

  • Manage individual and team subscriptions to our comms tools.

  • Help to troubleshoot team questions and issues.

• Keep our ‘Unifrog Essentials’ and ‘Who to Contact’ documents up-to-date, and support team leads to keep our Dropbox folders organised.

2. Internal events (~2.5 days per week)

Now that Unifrog has 115 team members across the UK and beyond, it’s more important than ever that everyone feels connected, both to each other and to our wider mission.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan our whole company team days:

  • Work closely with our CEO and the Leadership team to decide on the team day agenda, budget and format.

  • Find and book venues, hotels, social activities, and meals, and make sure everything’s set up and runs smoothly on the day.

• Support senior managers to plan their away days:

  • Advise on agendas and book venues, socials, and training.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration (one of each team’s away days is partly combined with another team).

• Evaluate our team events and continually look to improve their quality, impact, and inclusivity.

• Plan remote socials and office socials for our London HQ.

• Support our Unifrog affinity groups - spaces where team members who share common identities (e.g. being parents), can connect, support each other and champion inclusivity.

• Keep our EDI calendar up-to-date, and mark and celebrate occasions important to people across the team, including cultural heritage months, awareness days, and commemorative events.

Working together

You’ll be part of our People team alongside our: People Assistant, People Coordinator Recruitment Lead, People Lead, Head of People Operations, and People and Operations Director (your line manager).

You’ll also regularly work with a variety of other team members (especially line managers) when organising events.

Main Purpose of Job

The Youth Engagement Worker’s role is to create positive, safe, educational, and memorable experiences for young people on our programmes. Youth Engagement workers will lead, inspire and support young people to develop personal, social and educational skills through creative and developmental activities.

Youth Engagement Workers will lead a variety of youth programmes, sessions, assemblies, and community-based projects in both local schools and the wider community. These initiatives will focus on key themes such as life skills, personal and social development, teamwork and leadership, employability, youth voice, and social action. They will collaborate closely with local community groups, partner organisations, charities, and employers to create meaningful opportunities that support and empower young people, while contributing positively to the wider community.

They will provide pastoral care, and deliver inclusive curriculum sessions, and skill development activities to groups and individuals. The role is suitable for a dynamic and confident person who has experience in leading, motivating, and supporting young people to successfully participate in positive programmes and activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and motivate young people through positive, creative and developmental sessions and activities.
• Supervise and take responsibility for pastoral care and safety needs of the young people.
• Deliver centre-based, community, school, and outdoor/adventurous activities and sessions.

The Selection Criteria

Essential

Qualifications and experience

1. At least one year’s experience of delivering positive activities with young people (either in a voluntary or paid capacity).

2. Youth Work level 2 or alternative equivalent experience

3. Experience of inspiring and motivating young people from a variety of cultural, economic and social backgrounds.

4. Experience of planning, leading and facilitating both large and small group sessions, and 1 to 1 activity.

5. A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.

Skills, Knowledge, and ability

1. An awareness of current socio-economic issues and trends which may affect young people and youth employment in the locations we work in.

2. Ability to build relationships and work alongside stakeholders including schools, charities, employers, local council etc.

Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.

The role is home-based, in Yorkshire, with regular travel to schools across the county and occasional forays to schools in the North-West. Several times a year travel will be required to London, where our office is based.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:

You will also support the annual marketing planning process in setting overarching marketing objectives, key performance indicators, forecasts, and budgets, translating these into an all-channel strategic brief for the cross-portfolio marketing plan, alongside campaign briefs. To be successful you must have a strong understanding of fully integrated end-to-end marketing campaigns and enjoy working with a range of stakeholders across a wide variety of projects.

What will I be doing?

• Supporting the annual marketing planning process in setting overarching marketing objectives, key Performance Indicators, forecasts and budgets; translating these into an all-channel cross-portfolio marketing plan

• Consulting with agencies and internal teams on paid marketing campaigns and activity to ensure optimal strategic alignment and fully integrated campaign planning across, audiences, channels and products

• Working closely with the Commercial and Operations function to support the end-to-end marketing workflow including and managing key stakeholder and agency/supplier relationships

• Working closely with the Marketing performance team and wider marketing teams to gather actionable insight and learnings from past campaigns

• Analysing campaign results, evaluating performance against targets while spotting opportunities to optimise activity, innovate and increase efficiency

• Taking a future-facing view of marketing trends and developments as well as competitor activity, the consumer landscape and data insight to ensure Cancer Research UK's marketing and communications stay ahead of the curve and are data and insight driven.

What skills are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of paid media channels; Audio Visual, Out Of Home, Digital with a particular focus on Paid Search and the role of the different channels in integrated campaign planning. You will also have experience working in an Agency environment.

• Excellent project management and communication skills with experience of managing and improving priority workstreams involving multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Media planning expertise and experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across a broad portfolio.

• Experience of leading communications to manage and motivate suppliers and agencies to drive maximum value from relationships.

• Relevant experience of building positive working relationships and influencing others and working effectively as part of a matrix team.

• Commercially aware with budget management experience.

• Awareness of direct marketing channels and their role in the end-to-end marketing journey.

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Service based across Cornwall.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11316 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, West Cornwall. However, Frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £27,435 per annum, pro rata

Hours: 1 x 35 hours per week position available, however, less hours would be considered so please state this in your application.

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2026. Our services are contracted; we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

The Role

The Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.

The post holder will have experience/background in:

As part of our dynamic Policy, Campaigns and Youth team, you’ll work collaboratively across Plan International UK and with our federation partners to ensure our influencing strategies remain credible, evidence-based, and rooted in feminist, anti-racist and decolonial approaches.

You’ll bring strong policy and advocacy experience, ideally with a track record of shaping UK Government policy and working on SRHR. Confident in building and managing high-level relationships, including with senior government officials, you’ll be quick to apply your expertise in producing persuasive policy positions and communications. You’ll also be a champion for youth-centred influencing, supporting young people to engage meaningfully in global advocacy spaces.

Experience of working within the UN system and knowledge of SRHR multilateral financing mechanisms would be an advantage.

The post holder will be a key member of the Philanthropy Team and be responsible for raising capital and revenue funds from individual donors to an ambitious annual target. 

As Philanthropy Lead, you will support the existing Building Hope national campaign and future national, regional and centre campaigns, focusing on aligning prospects and donors with Maggie’s strategic aims.  

You will ensure the effective, long-term cultivation of prospects identified through volunteer leadership networks, existing networks of warm supporters, and prospect research. 

You will also be able to identify opportunities for a programme of engagement events designed to discover, cultivate and steward prospects and donors.

About the role:

This role is based in our Islington office with the flexibility of hybrid working, travel will also be required to other VS offices across London.

As a Children & Young People's Caseworker, you will be required to:

• Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments and ensure each CYP receives an individual tailored support package that fully meets their identified needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Provide one to one support to children and young people living in families affected by domestic abuse.
• Effectively manage a caseload of different risk level cases of approx. 12-15 young people and provide specialist support to reduce the risk and increase safety
• Review the assessment of risk on an ongoing basis, ensuring appropriate and immediate action is taken in respect of any CYP facing significant harm, making the necessary referrals to MARAC and local safeguarding processes as required given the legal framework relating to the protection of children and the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children's Board.
• To consult with and involve children and young people in making decisions about themselves and the development of the service.
• Establish links with relevant statutory partners in Social Care, Education, Health, Police and Housing, with the intention of supporting children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. Attend meetings as required.
• To advocate on behalf of children and young people with experience of domestic abuse to ensure the diverse needs of children and young people using the service are met.

You will need to have the following essential skills:

• Experience of working directly with vulnerable children and young people aged 4 - 17, on a one to one basis, with a proven ability to work in creative and appropriate ways to engage with children and young people
• Experience with assessing risk and taking appropriate action to safeguard children and young people experiencing domestic abuse.
• An understanding of the current issues for children and young people experiencing crime, domestic abuse and relationship abuse
• Experience of delivering effective multi-agency and partnership work, including building relationships with statutory and voluntary CYP service providers
• Effective organisational skills, including experience with planning, prioritising, managing crises and a caseload, and maintaining accurate and confidential case records
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, databases, internet and Outlook
