About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced AP & AR Supervisor to join our finance team.  You will need to be enthusiastic and detail focused individual who is working well on own initiative as well as part of the team.  You will need to be proactive, approachable and communicate well at all levels. You will report to Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

· First approval of weekly payment run

· Supervision of AP/AR Finance Officer

· Supervision of Sales and Purchase Ledger

· Balance sheet reconciliation

· Year-end support with focus on accruals and prepayments

· Fixed Asset registers including monthly journals and reconciliations

· Supervision of Direct Debit processing

· Working closely with the team on achieving timely month end

This is an exciting time to join CMF as we head into our new five year strategy.

Our accountant will work in our Operations Department to provide a strong financial function within CMF.

Play a strategic and leading role in the development and delivery of support programmes across Big Issue Changing Live CIC.

The Meridian One Community Garden is a meanwhile space which primarily grows fruit, salad and vegetable crops. We engage local people in the garden through weekly volunteer gardening sessions, school visits and other community events.

TCV are looking for a Senior Project Officer who has skills and experience in community engagement, delivering events and experience of managing a community facility. The community garden was established three years ago, and the site includes an office, community meeting/education room, toilets and a large polytunnel.

The Senior Project Officer will be able to effectively deliver different tasks as required, from planning and delivering a large community family weekend event to ensuring our site Health & Safety is maintained. The post holder will be able to lead volunteers in practical tasks such as making large, raised wooden planters, help maintain the garden plants during the Spring and Summer growing period and ensure administration tasks are completed on time. These administration tasks are varied and include procurement of materials, creating risk assessments, updating social media posts and completing task reports. The Senior Project Officer will be required to lead the delivery of our under 5's Nature Explorers outdoor playgroup activities, school visits, themed evening events and weekend family events. Additionally, the Senior Project Officer will deliver corporate volunteering sessions and provide holiday cover for our weekly Green Gym gardening session. Our wider events have included women's Pampering and Enrichment evenings, Repurpose, Recycle, Reinvent workshops and a Black Women in Conservation and Horticulture photography exhibition. Our weekend family events provide free food, music and arts and crafts activities. The post holder will also be required to lead occasional practical food growing and conservation activities with volunteers.

This a very much a public facing role and the Senior Project Officer must be welcoming and approachable to a wide range of stakeholders. The visitors to the garden have a wide range of backgrounds and needs, you'll need to be experienced in working with people, from toddlers attending the Nature Explorers club, vulnerable adults, to corporate volunteers and senior staff from our funders and the local authority.

In addition to this Senior Project Officer role, there are two other part time Project Officers working at the garden. TCV offers an excellent, extensive training programme and additional support from a great team of local colleagues.

Usual working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Given the nature of the role the Senior Project Officer will need to work from the garden during these times and home working will be limited, except in exceptional circumstances. Weekend family events take place on Saturdays, four times a year and there are approximately six evening events which take place between April to September. This post holder would be expected to plan & lead on the delivery of those evening and weekend events.

This role would suit someone with previous practical experience of day-to-day management of a community garden or community centre.

Ideally, we're looking for someone with experience of gardening and/or nature conservation. However, what's equally important is that the Senior Project Officer has initiative, is friendly, welcoming, and comfortable working with a wide range people. The Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) will be embedded within borough housing teams to facilitate the dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. This includes:

· Close working relationships with Housing colleagues 

· Provision of specialist knowledge relating to DA for Housing Officers and Homelessness Teams to draw on 

· Specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, housing and practical options that might increase their safety. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support especially around complex housing needs.

Centre 33’s Wellbeing team offer a diverse support offer to (primarily) young people aged 13-25 and founded in the principles of low intensity CBT (Guided Self Help). Working closely alongside other Centre 33 services, the team are responsible for the delivery of interventions via the Guided Self Help pathway, to young people who have self-referred or consented to a parent/professional referral to address early emerging mental health difficulties such as low mood and anxiety. In addition, the team apply creative approaches to create, adapt and share evidenced based GSH materials that are shared via one off sessions, workshops, training and events. The team design psychoeducational and wellbeing strategy- based resources for use both internally (social media campaigns and website) and externally (eg. schools). The Wellbeing team consists of a blend of Senior CWP, Qualified CWPs and Trainee CWPs.

Principle duties

· To deliver regular 121 and group clinical supervision to both qualified and trainee CWPs, ensuring delivery of high-quality, young person centred, brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. · To ensure supervision of trainees is aligned with teachings of AFC CWP Supervisor training. · To ensure all necessary elements required by AFC from Supervisors for trainee CWPs is completed and submitted within deadlines. · To ensure supervision is delivered within the context of Centre 33 ethos, values and approach. · To liaise regularly with Senior/Team Leads to communicate progress of trainees · To communicate any identified training/ development for supervisees. · To identify and appropriately share with senior any areas of concern relating to professional practice/conduct. · To contribute towards probationary reviews and annual appraisals. · Oversee the professional integrity of the work the CWP is doing. · Engage in annual 121 meetings with Clinical Lead to review supervisory practice. · Keep professional boundaries about confidentiality appropriately within Centre 33 and outside it, and assist the CWP do so too. · Be familiar with and act within the policies, guidelines and ethos of Centre 33 and the BACP/BACPP code of ethics & practice, and to support the CWP to do the same. · Be available to CWPs in crisis work, if required. · Ensure that all supervisory administration is undertaken as appropriate · Ensure their own supervision, professional development, accreditation or professional registration requirements are fulfilled with particular focus in remaining updated on themes effecting clients in the C33 age range. · Maintain excellent standards of communication and organisation around sessions. Ensure supervision sessions are scheduled in a clear and timely manner and cancellations, absences and annual leave are communicated appropriately to both supervisee and line manager.

Experience

Essential 

Significant and demonstrable experience of therapeutic work with young people

Extensive experience of supervising therapeutic staff

Experience of working with diverse group of supervisees- in terms of cultural and professional backgrounds, and levels of experience

Experience of adapting approaches and materials to meet Individual needs

Experience of working relationally with young people and supervisees

Experience of motivating , encouraging and building confidence with trainees

Desirable

Experience of working for a third sector organisation 

Experience of working with the over 17 age range 

Experience of delivering/supervising therapeutic work in a non-clinical setting

Qualifications and Training

CYP-IAPT Supervision Training

Up to date safeguarding/child protection training

Knowledge

Essential

Extensive knowledge of issues effecting children and young people.

Theoretical knowledge of models of supervision

Robust knowledge of safeguarding procedures and risk management

Desirable 

Knowledge of referral processes and the statutory services working with children and young adults

Other

Alignment and commitment to embedding of Centre 33 values in practice

Effective oral and written communication skills

The Content Manager leads on the creation and delivery of cause content to help Soccer Aid for UNICEF meet its fundraising and brand targets. You will do this by working closely with the in-house creative team at UNICEF UK, as well as content leads from our partner organisations and internal workstream leads. The role will provide strategic oversight and expertise ensuring we deliver engaging and audience-led content for platforms including social media, fundraising products and TV audiences. 

We are seeking an individual who is experienced in implementing an engaging and audience-led content strategy, with evidence of effective campaign delivery. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple conflicting priorities, working in a high-pressure campaign environment.
