We are now looking for a capable Senior Acquisition Officer to develop, test, learn and grow our acquisition programme.
- Manage acquisition campaigns end-to-end across multiple channels (digital, lead generation, DRTV, telemarketing, face-to-face).
- Support, train and monitor fundraising agencies, including occasional UK travel for campaign visits.
- Deliver early retention activities to engage new donors and improve conversion and retention rate
- Oversee data management and reporting in Salesforce, ensuring accurate coding, reconciliation and trend analysis.
- Ensure high standards of compliance, following the Code of Fundraising Practice and wider regulatory requirements.
- Handle supporter communications professionally

Meet your Manager

Lydia has worked in the NGO sector for over eight years and has expertise in a variety of functions including grant management, programme management, communications and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with Lydia as part of an established Grants Team that sits within the Development Department at ClientEarth.
Main Duties
- Funding portfolio management - Have a close and in-depth knowledge of their grants portfolio, including a sound understanding of the philanthropic, institutional and statutory funding mix;
- Internal and external communications - Meet with Trust, Foundation and Institution portfolio managers to discuss proposals, provide updates on the programmatic work, and to formally report back on financial, organisational and technical issues;
- Project management - Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s European and international offices to ensure input from all avenues to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner; and
- Financial planning and budget handling - Work with Finance and Programmes staff to develop individual budgets for funding proposals

- Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management.
- Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation.

Last year we launched a new website which provides independent online information, advice and support for kinship carers. This year, we’re continuing to develop new advice and information content for the website, as well as working on content for projects that focus on supporting kinship carers.
The postholder will research, create and deliver engaging, user-focused content, and deliver a seamless user content experience throughout all content development. Working with kinship carers and subject matter experts will be a big part of your role.

About the Role
Sense is recruiting for a Supporter Services Assistant to join our fantastic Engagement Team in Kings Cross, London on a hybrid basis.
The successful applicant will play vital part in the Engagement Department and the charity as a whole – it makes sure that supporters have an outstanding experience of supporting Sense and know how much they are valued. Your daily task’s are varied with a mixture of in-and-outbound calling, combined with essential administrative tasks like income processing or capturing important information about Sense’s supporters and their motivations to support the charity.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Accurately processing fundraising income, including cheques and cash, vouchers (CAF, KKL) direct debits, payroll giving and from online donation platforms (Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving, Facebook) within agreed timescales and in line with provided procedures.
- Create or amend supporter records on Sense’s Raisers Edge database, ensuring that all interactions between charity and supporter etc are recorded accurately and in line with best practice GDPR.
- Identifying opportunities for supporters to further engage with Sense and promoting them as appropriate to help deliver Fundraising department targets (such as sharing a supporter story with our Comms team).
- Work with other fundraising teams to ensure relationships with supporters are managed effectively, both by responding to enquiries promptly and by working to the agreed supporter communications plan. There is also the expectation to attend other teams’ meetings i.e. Community, Events, Philanthropy to understand what activity is happening across the charity.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience of working in a customer or supporter service environment
- Administrative experience in a busy office environment
- Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar Customer Relationship Management database
- Outstanding customer service, an excellent telephone manner and ability to understand team needs to prioritise workloads effectively.

This newly created role supports the running of a comprehensive research roadmap across the National Theatre, enhancing the organisation’s strategic use of research to inform decision-making and contribute to sector-wide knowledge. It leads the design and commissioning of high-quality research projects, builds internal research capacity, and fosters strong external partnerships. Central to the role is close collaboration with key departments and stakeholders to ensure research is robust, insightful, and impactful, while also representing the National Theatre in research contexts.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Proven experience in a senior research role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and techniques with a comprehensive knowledge of various research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research methods. This includes expertise in designing surveys, conducting interviews, focus groups, and observational studies.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis using statistical software, data collection, data interpretation and visualisation tools including survey platforms.

Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a Director of Income Generation to lead on securing income. This is an exciting role which will focus on:
- maximising our unique portfolio of corporate supporters; further growing our Trust and Grants income, including building partnerships with like-minded charities;
- building our events-based fundraising, including bespoke events;
- looking for new areas for growth which could include developing a HNWI giving programme.
This role sits within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will manage our Fundraising team. You will seek to maximise value from opportunities across the organisation and ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity’s broader goals. You will also work closely with of Director of Employment and Opportunities and team to co-design a Corporate Supporter Strategy.
To be successful, you will need proven success in securing five and six-figure value partnerships (both in corporate and philanthropy), as well as an overall understanding of our wider key income streams. Previous experience of working in a youth charity is highly desirable. Whilst your income generation achievements are important, your mindset and the way you approach your work are equally important to us, and we are looking for an inspiring and collaborative leader who seeks out opportunities alongside supporting your team to achieve their potential.
We are a remote-based organisation which promotes flexible working. This role will require frequent travel to our hub cities (Birmingham, Liverpool, London and Manchester).

Animal Equality’s campaigns have driven Parliamentary debates, legal victories, policy shifts, corporate commitments, mainstream media coverage, and inspired thousands of individuals to change their diets.
We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.
Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The role requires initiative, creativity, tenacity, and a solutions-focused mindset, as well as the discipline to execute projects effectively and professionally.
The Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager and work closely with others across our UK and international teams. You will play a key role in coordinating and inspiring volunteers and external stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Campaign delivery: Drive Animal Equality’s high-impact campaigns, bringing the plight of farmed animals into the public consciousness. Plan, coordinate, and implement imaginative and effective campaign actions that influence policy-makers, businesses, philanthropists, and the public. Produce clear, compelling, and engaging campaign resources.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, experts, regulators, allied organisations, and members of the public to strengthen campaign outcomes.
- Volunteer mobilisation: Grow and energise our Animal Protectors network through training, regular newsletter communication, and opportunities for online and in-person action.
- Peaceful protest coordination: Organise creative, non-violent demonstrations and direct actions that advance campaign objectives and attract media coverage.
- Research and uncovering malpractice: Conduct desk-based research, including FOI requests and collaboration with academics, to uncover questionable industry and regulatory practices, and inform evidence-based campaigns.
- Uncover scandals through desk-based research: Using Freedom of Information requests, conducting research, working with academics, and liaising with concerned members of the public, support the release of exposés that demonstrate the reality of animal agriculture.
- Media generation: Work with Animal Equality’s Marketing and Communications teams to design noteworthy content, ensure strong campaign narratives, and maximise media exposure.
- Support our digital campaigning work: Work alongside colleagues in our international Marketing and Communication Departments to engage the public through our multi-channel communication strategy. Assist with the development of content for our website, social media, YouTube and other platforms to successfully share plans and updates in relation to Animal Equality’s campaign priorities.
- Project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and objectives are met.
- Campaign evaluation: Monitor, measure, and report on campaign impact, adapting tactics as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Policy oversight: Stay informed about relevant political and legislative developments to identify opportunities and risks for our campaigns.

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Operations Officer to play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of Animal Equality UK’s internal operations and supporter services.
This is a varied role covering administration, finance, data management, supporter care, and event coordination. You will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters and stakeholders, providing excellent service while supporting team members across all departments.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and a calm and professional demeanour, thrive on problem-solving, and take pride in ensuring that systems and processes run efficiently behind the scenes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Culture and internal support: Act as a culture ambassador, upholding Animal Equality’s values of professionalism, resilience, accountability, and compassion. Strengthen communication between teams and ensure effective use of project management tools. Identify and lead process improvements with guidance from the Operations Manager.
- Supporter and donor care: Serve as the first point of contact for supporter queries via phone, email, post, and social media. Provide excellent donor support, including thanking donors, resolving payment issues, and sending mailings. Maintain supporter and volunteer records accurately in CRM systems and ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Finance and reporting: Process expenses, supplier payments, and support budget forecasting. Assist with Gift Aid claims, monthly data uploads, and finance reports. Prepare scheduled reports and presentations to track progress against objectives.
- Team processes: Support recruitment processes, including application handling, interview coordination, and onboarding/offboarding schedules. Ensure smooth induction for new staff and manage equipment, training resources, and access.
- Events and operations: Assist with the organisation of internal training, team meet-ups, and supporter events. Support health and safety measures for team members and volunteers at peaceful protests, undertaking risk assessments and first aid training. Manage stock and campaign materials, fulfil supporter requests, and oversee mailing logistics.
- Data and systems: Conduct database cleansing and maintain accurate supporter, volunteer, and executive records.
