Job Summary 

Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role supports high-value corporate partnerships through engagement, stewardship, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the charity’s goals. This newly established role in the income team reflects the growth of MHI’s partnerships and offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious corporate fundraiser with a passion for digital mental health. MHI is at a pivotal point in its development, having experienced significant growth since launching in 2017. Over the past 18 months, a primary focus has been on cultivating several major partners to support our core services (Shout and The Mix) and the development of three new digital mental health products. We are now looking to focus on these key partners, while expanding our portfolio of new opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support with high value corporate partnerships, including the delivery of employee engagement activities and communications, fundraising events and challenges
• Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship and identifying and maximising opportunities for wider engagement
• Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to steward and engage partners and prospects, including thought leadership, communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activities
• Support with business development, utilising Salesforce, Pearlfinders and LinkedIn to identify and track opportunities
• Support the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager to create proposals, offers and presentations for new and existing partners
• Manage team administration, including merchandise orders
• Build excellent stakeholder relationships, keeping key contacts updated and ensuring partnership renewals
• Work with Commissioned Partnerships and Trust and Foundations colleagues to identify cross and upsell opportunities
• Work with the Public Fundraising team to promote challenge events and identify opportunities for our corporate partners
• Collaborate with internal teams - including Public Fundraising, Commissioned Partnerships, Trusts and Foundations, Data Insights, Clinical, Marketing, Volunteer, and Finance - to coordinate engagement, insights, assets, and timely communications.
• Build relationships with new potential corporate prospects for 2025 to 2028 income opportunities.
• Build relationships with counterparts of other third sector charitable organisations who MHI may work closely with for partnership opportunities.

Person Specification

Essential

• 3+ years working with corporate partners, including building at least one new large corporate partnership
• 3+ years experience of working on community fundraising projects with the charity or through a corporate partner
• Experience of being highly organised, managing multifaceted partnerships in a charity setting, covering multiple projects and teams, and including reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with varying audiences, including corporate partners
• A strong interest in mental health and in data and technology, and an understanding of corporate partnership opportunities for the sector

Desirable

• Experience of using Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
• Experience of both face to face and virtual stakeholder meetings with high value corporate funders
• Experience of building employee and/or community fundraising events and opportunities

We are recruiting for an immediate Reception/office support cover , the role is 4 days a week a International Faith based charity who help to transform communities worldwide. You need to have strong reception , processing donation, office administration and systems skills.

Full time in the office , Shift 4 days a week, Tues- Fri, 30 hours per week, 7.5 hrs per day

The Role
Be the first point of contact for all donor, retail, and membership enquiries by phone, letter or email and responding to these in a timely manner.
To process online and phone donations
To process online and phone retail orders
Ensure high levels of customer service are always maintained.
To record on excel and acknowledge all fundraising income received from various sources (cheques, cash, online giving).
To brief internal stakeholders on upcoming activity to ensure consistency of call handling and messaging.
Update contact records on the organisations database
To undertake simple social media and website updates
Ensure a high levels of customer service is always maintained.
To ensure reception area is well-maintained, tidy and presentable at all times.
Call handling and redirection.
Greeting visitors; providing face to face information and signposting.
Greeting conference delegates; ensuring they are signed in, have relevant security badges, and information regarding allocation of meeting rooms and their location.
To update the meeting rooms presentation notices and door signs as necessary.
To liaise with the Conference & Facilities team to arrange any on-the-spot meeting room requests or other enquiries.
To receive visitors of tenants and informing the relevant tenant of visitors arrival.

The Candidate
Experience of working within an office or customer service environment is essential.
Experience of using databases
Experience of working with Excel is essential.
Experience of Word, including the use of mail merge
Experience of Microsoft teams
Pleasant and efficient telephone manner. Ability to interact in a friendly and personable manner with external clients, tenants and staff.
Experience of working at a reception will be an advantage.
Excellent computer skills and of MS Office software, MS Outlook, Teams and Zoom.

Our adviser teams work within local areas providing a wide range of expert information and guidance, via a variety of channels including community settings. You’ll provide a personalised service that enables appropriate levels of self-advocacy and/ or advocate on behalf of clients, signposting to other services as relevant. 

You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible and to take an active role in their treatment becoming their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible. 

The contract for this role will be fixed term for six months.

What you’ll do:

• Provide in depth, person-centred information and guidance to clients by a range of means, including community settings, and ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources in line with service policy

• Respond to enquiries through a range of channels and areas based on service need, keeping accurate, up to date online client records in line with practice

• Make best use of time in providing an effective client service

• Recognise and respond to potential safeguarding situations using established procedures

• Provide information on a variety of health and social care issues, including appropriate emotional support, employment and welfare benefits guidance and advocating with and on behalf of clients

• Answer client enquiries professionally using a jargon-free approach and within established timescales 

• Maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external teams and in a range of settings and ways to achieve the best outcomes of clients

• Keep up to date with organisational and professional development relevant to your role

• Ability to work collaboratively

About the role 

Volunteers are vital to Parkinson’s UK; they provide high valued support and services through local branches, groups and cafes. This rewarding role provides the opportunity to work directly with volunteers, together making a positive difference to the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s. 

You’ll act as the main point of contact and support for volunteers in local branches, groups and cafes. As part of an integrated regional team, you’ll contribute to shared plans and priorities. Working remotely and in person, you’ll provide the highest quality customer care and support volunteers in line with the charity’s governance requirements, as well as our policies and procedures. You’ll provide high quality business support to colleagues to promote volunteering opportunities and bring volunteers together in the local community. 

What you’ll do:

• Provide excellent customer service to local group volunteers through remote and in-person support. 

• Be the main point of contact for colleagues seeking support to recruit volunteers in the community as part of a regional team. 

• Support volunteers to lead their groups in line with governance requirements through provision of information and relevant tools. 

• Support our local group volunteers with reviewing and planning their activities (including associated budgets). 

• Manage volunteer records using online tools such as the volunteer management system, local activities database, for example. 

• Support events and meetings which bring volunteers together in the community. 

• Promote and facilitate volunteer recruitment, induction and training to local volunteer roles. 

• Maintain relevant data on local group activities, or support lead volunteers to do so. 

• Produce regular reports for performance reporting and monitoring. 

• Collaborate and liaise with colleagues across the charity, as appropriate, to provide excellent customer service to volunteers in the community.

• Strong volunteer support skills and an ability to work in a user-focused and inclusive way. 

• Experience of volunteer recruitment, induction and training. 

• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload whilst working collaboratively across a dispersed team of colleagues and volunteers.

• Proven ability to take a solution focused approach, supporting with queries raised by volunteers. 

• Ability to confidently support group volunteers with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. 

• Practical experience of maintaining accurate data using administrative systems and databases. 

• A commitment to working in an inclusive way that encourages volunteering.

Green New Deal Rising is building a movement of young people from every part of the UK to fight for a response to the climate crisis that totally transforms our economy to deliver a safe climate and fairer society.
