About the role

As Counselling Manager, you will lead the delivery and development of Women’s Trust’s counselling services, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support for women affected by domestic abuse. You will manage a team of counsellors and volunteers, providing supervision, guidance, and professional development to maintain clinical standards and best practice.

You will work closely with the Head of Services to align counselling provision with organisational strategy, monitoring outcomes and impact to evidence the value of our work. You will build and maintain strong external partnerships, contribute to service development and innovation, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, ethical, and professional frameworks.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

About the role

As Counselling Coordinator, you will support the smooth and effective delivery of Woman’s Trust’s specialist counselling services for women affected by domestic abuse, with particular responsibility for supporting crisis and short-term therapeutic provision in East London.

You will coordinate referrals, assessments, caseload allocation, liaison with counsellors, and ensure accurate administrative and clinical record systems. You will maintain safeguarding processes, contribute to service development, and work collaboratively with the Counselling Manager, Head of Therapeutic Services, and external partners to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed, woman-centred support.

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week.

This is a vital role for the Bikeability Trust in leading the management of over £78 million of Active Travel England grant funding to 2029 for the provisiion of Bikeability training and management of the grants programme. As a Navigator across Camden and Islington, you will work alongside people who are rough sleeping and facing multiple disadvantage, offering consistent, psychologically informed support from first contact through to longer term stability. This is a role for someone who wants to be out in the community, building real relationships and making change happen where it matters most. You will hold a small caseload, giving you the space to do this work properly, staying alongside each person as they move through crisis, into accommodation, and towards a life that feels safer, more independent and more their own.

No two days will look the same. You might be meeting someone on the streets to start building trust, advocating with partners to unlock housing options, or working through the practical and emotional barriers that can make moving forward feel out of reach. You will take a holistic approach, drawing on your understanding of trauma, mental health, substance use and domestic abuse to shape support that is responsive, creative and genuinely centred around the individual. This is a role where persistence matters, where small steps count, and where your ability to adapt and think differently can open up new pathways for clients.

You will be part of a wider, well connected network across Camden and Islington, working closely with local services and partners to coordinate support and create opportunities that would not be possible in isolation. Service Description:

West London Mind deliver services across 5 West London Boroughs, and our children and young people’s team deliver services in communities and in schools. Focusing on increasing access and having inclusive services, our diversity of provision, staff and approaches means we can offer an assistant psychologist a range of experience, and fun.

This role sits within our schools-based offer in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham  which supports young people via our Mental Health Support Teams in both primary and secondary schools, as well as working with parents and school staff.

We also offer Be Kind to Your Mind (BK2YM) which provides a psychoeducation programme (Learn Well) which offers a multi-tiered level of support for children with additional SEND needs.

Job Description. You will be:

1. Dealing with our referrals from schools:

· Liasing with referrers, families and young people to ensure that clients and other organisations are kept up to date with what stage their referral is at (e.g. on a waitlist).

· Overseeing inboxes to ensure quick and appropriate responses.

2. Delivering interventions:

· Delivery of Be Kind to Your Mind SEND/Inclusion interventions across schools, colleges and alternative education, and co-delivering our out of school offer.

· Ad-hoc creation of bespoke content to complement existing materials.

3. Supporting promotion of Children and Young People’s Services:

· Coordination of outreach on universal days/mental health specific days in line with West London Mind’s CYP Youth Services Calendar (across schools in Hammersmith and Fulham and within the local community).

· Co-facilitation of psychoeducational sessions.

· Working closely with the Whole Schools Approach Lead and Co-Production Coordinator to ensure that our offer is relevant and Young Person Centred.

· Attend events to promote our Core CYP Youth Service’s offer (such as the Circle, MHST, BK2YM, Mind in Music and community programmes) to Children & Young People, families and professionals

4. Data, Evaluation and Impact Reporting:

· Assisting in the composition of internal, quarterly and other reporting.

· Support data analysis for routine, service evaluation, research and improvement.

· Completing pre and post-evaluations of intervention delivered to ensure that delivery is effective, reviewed and meeting objectives.

5. Partnership Working and Communication:

· Communicate information effectively with CYPs, relatives and carers where there may be barriers to understanding.

Person Specification

We need you to have:

· An undergraduate Psychology degree (or equivalent) that confers British Psychological Society’s Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (GBC).

We’re looking for someone with:

· Knowledge and understanding of the key socioeconomic and systemic factors that contribute to poor mental health of children, young people and parents/carers from Black, Asian and other Minority groups.

· Understanding the importance of safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.

· Experience of conducting literature reviews, data collection and data analysis.

· Knowledge of mental health and/or social care services

· Experience of working with, and adapting delivery to, children and young people as well as young adults with SEND/Inclusion needs.

You will have:

· Excellent written skills and the ability to distil complex issues in clear language with a wide range of audiences with varying needs.

· Ability to work both productively as part of a team as well autonomously where appropriate.

· A compassionate and inclusive approach to working with children, young people, their families and your colleagues

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Engagement Programme 

• Plan, co-ordinate and deliver an engaging public programme of visitor led events, aimed at building new audiences and boosting our visitor numbers 
• Work with the Head of Engagement, to develop the group visit offer, ensuring forthcoming anniversaries and activities are exploited 
• Support the Head of Engagement to deliver the Social Justice Programme, identifying opportunities within existing talks and tours programming to further support the annual theme
• Provide administration of all groups and public tours, ensuring they are booked and co-ordinated accurately 
• Coordinate with the Audience Development Manager to evaluate visitor and volunteer feedback, taking action to make improvements as necessary  
• Work with external stakeholders and speakers to deliver an engaging year-round expert talks series

Financial administration

• Work with the Finance Team, ensure all fees for engagement events are invoiced and paid for in advance 

 Relationships 

• Line management of the Cathedral Guides volunteer team, working with the Head Guide to ensure guides are kept up to date of Cathedral policy and are trained and delivering excellent customer service 
• Work with the Verging and Property team to ensure events are coordinated and delivered to a high professional standard  

 Other 

• Support the Head of Engagement to deliver large scale public events providing administrating and on the day delivery support

What you’ll be doing

You will produce excellent and compelling funding applications, based on thorough research. You will liaise with colleagues to help construct applications. Once funding is secured, you will steward your portfolio of funders to ensure that they are well informed about our work and inclined to provide us with further support. You will ensure that records are accurately maintained on our CRM system.

You will bring to the role:

• Proven experience in Trusts Fundraising
• Demonstrable evidence of first-class writing skills, with the capacity to translate complex subject matter into a compelling, and easily understood case for support

About the role

The Social Media Executive sits in the Media & Communications’ team and plays a key role in elevating Spear’s brand and mission by producing engaging, story-driven digital content, with a strong focus on video, for social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This role centres on amplifying the voices and experiences of young people on the Spear Programme, creating authentic content that inspires audiences including young people, supporters and corporate partners.

Based in London, but working with colleagues across Spear Centres nationwide, the Social Media Executive will create engaging content in line with our social media strategy. Working from concept to filming, editing, and performance analysis, this role will also empower coaches, alumni and ambassadors to produce user-generated content. The role requires creativity, adaptability to digital trends, and strong relationship-building skills to capture impactful stories.
