Rays of Sunshine is looking for a creative, sensitive and confident Senior Communications Officer to help bring our work to life through powerful storytelling, media engagement and compelling content.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we launch our new five-year strategy, refreshed brand and new website. You’ll play a key role in helping us share the stories of seriously ill children, young people and their families, raising awareness of our work and inspiring more people to support Rays of Sunshine.

As our Senior Communications Officer, you’ll act as our story development lead, working directly with children, young people and families to sensitively capture the moments that demonstrate the impact of our work. You’ll develop case studies, coordinate photography and filming, create content for social media, website, press and email marketing, and help ensure our storytelling is handled with care, consent and integrity.

You’ll also support PR and media activity, build relationships with journalists, identify media opportunities, draft press releases and case studies, and help coordinate activity involving families, colleagues, ambassadors, celebrities and high-profile supporters.

Alongside this, you’ll support our Wish Ambassador programme, celebrity and influencer engagement, digital communications, social media, website content and wider communications campaigns. This is a varied, hands-on role in a small and ambitious team, with the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.

We’re looking for someone with excellent writing and storytelling skills, strong editorial judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships with families, journalists, ambassadors, celebrities and colleagues. Rays of Sunshine is looking for a confident, ambitious and relationship-led Corporate Partnerships Manager to help manage and grow a portfolio of valued corporate supporters.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a time of growth and transformation, as we deliver our new five-year strategy and continue to build long-term partnerships that make a real difference to seriously ill children and their families.

As our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional stewardship across a portfolio of established and strategic corporate partnerships. You will develop tailored partnership plans, deepen engagement, increase income and secure sustainable, multi-year support.

The role will be approximately 70% focused on managing and growing existing partnerships and 30% focused on developing new business opportunities through warm introductions, established pipelines and collaboration with colleagues. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, wider Fundraising Team, Communications, Services and Events colleagues to ensure partners receive an excellent experience and feel connected to the impact of their support.

You will lead on partnership stewardship, employee fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship opportunities, impact reporting, renewal conversations and partnership growth. You will also help identify opportunities for corporate partners to engage with challenge events, special events, public fundraising campaigns and Wish Community experiences.

We are looking for someone with strong relationship management skills, experience achieving fundraising or commercial income targets, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. You will be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities, with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating meaningful partnerships.

Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, we’re looking for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our small team at a critical growth point to build and deliver a Trusts Fundraising Strategy (currently projected to generate c.£600K in 2027) laying the groundwork for long term, sustainable income generation as part of our wider Fundraising Strategy.

This is a new role for someone with substantial experience working in Trusts Fundraising, as well as strong project development skills, who can take our fledgling portfolio of funders and transform it into a pool of engaged supporters invested in MRF’s work in the long-term. About the Role

As a Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of the full payroll lifecycle for a workforce of approximately 1,500-2,000+ employees, ensuring an accurate, compliant and timely payroll service.

You will lead a small payroll team, working closely with Finance and HR to ensure strong governance, reporting and continuous improvement across payroll operations.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Proven experience in designing and delivering whole-school staff training.

• Extensive (1 year minimum) experience as a DSL (safeguarding) and SENCO (SEND provision).

Your Day to Day

You will:

• Lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary fundraising team

• Significant experience leading high-performing fundraising teams

Purpose of the Role

The Neighbourhood Health Coordinator will play a key role in connecting older residents with local health, wellbeing and community support.

Working across Time & Talents, local Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs), social prescribing services and community partners, the postholder will coordinate a programme of neighbourhood outreach activity designed to improve health outcomes, reduce loneliness and support older people to age well.

Key Responsibilities

Community Health Outreach

· Coordinate and support delivery of a programme of community outreach events across Southwark.

We are looking for a Sheltered Housing Team Leader to join us at our beautiful 13-acre retirement community (Bencurtis Park) to lead our team of Wardens in delivering consistently high-quality, resident-centred services. This is an essential role to help ensure that Bencurtis Park remains a welcoming, inclusive, positive and safe place where older people can continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as they wish and are able to.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to the Warden Team.
• Managing the Warden rota to ensure appropriate staffing cover.

You will bring experience from sheltered housing, independent living, care, accommodation-based services or a similar environment, together with a strong understanding of safeguarding, resident support and person-centred working.

Strong organisational skills, good judgement, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development and delivery of an organisation-wide fundraising strategy and annual plan, with responsibility for agreed income targets. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
