This role is instrumental in executing our content, digital, and event marketing strategies, helping us reach key decision-makers in charities and converting them into engaged customers.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Communications Coordination:

• Draft, edit, and coordinate email communications for existing clients, prospects, and event audiences using HubSpot.

• Draft blog and newsletter content to share with existing and prospective customers.

• Work across Social Media to ensure a regular flow of stories, product updates, and impact content is scheduled and shared.

• Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging across all materials.

Campaign & Product Launch Management:

• Produce comprehensive campaign plans to support new product features, service offerings, and strategic initiatives.

• Coordinate product launches, working with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Growth, Customer Success) to ensure aligned messaging and smooth rollout.

• Schedule and support webinars and in-person opportunities (e.g., industry events, workshops) from a marketing perspective.

Case Studies & Campaign Showcasing:

• Support the creation of compelling case studies that highlight our impact and clients' successes.

• Help co-ordinate video, photography, and quotes from clients to enrich our marketing assets.

• Maintain a live bank of marketing assets (case studies, testimonials, videos, photos) that can be easily used across marketing and sales.

New Business Support:

• Work with the Growth team to ensure they have comprehensive communications support, including email nurture sequences, lead generation assets, and campaign summaries.

• Help track and update HubSpot data and monitor lead funnels for marketing activities.

Content Asset Management:

• Ensure key product and campaign materials (e.g., PDFs, one-pagers, presentation decks) are up to date, accurately reflect current offerings, and are easily accessible to the wider team.

• Co-ordinate with designers and video editors where needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.

Reporting & Market Insight:

• Support marketing reporting, tracking campaign sends, open/click rates, and basic lead activity via HubSpot.

• Track competitor activity, messaging, and new ideas being developed in the sector to inform our strategy.

• Help manage marketing activity calendars and provide internal communications updates on marketing initiatives.

Skills & Knowledge:

• 2–4 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or content coordination role, preferably within a SaaS company or B2B environment.

• A confident writer and communicator, able to produce clear, concise, and compelling copy.

• Detail-oriented, highly organised, and proactive, with excellent project coordination skills.

• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools like HubSpot or Mailchimp is a definite plus.

Bonus: Experience in the non-profit or tech-for-good sector.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Grantmaking Due Diligence & Onboarding

• Coordinate the collection, review, and secure storage of due diligence documentation from prospective grantees.

• Assist with risk screening checks and internal reviews in alignment with Purposeful’s grantmaking policies.

• Prepare grantee onboarding documentation, including grant agreements and orientation materials.

• Track submission of required onboarding documents (e.g., bank forms, MoUs, safeguarding policies).

• Monitor and keep track of the grants due for payment.

• Respond to grantee and applicant inquiries and proactively update them on the status of their grant awards.

2. Grant Compliance & Documentation

• Monitor compliance status of all active grants, flagging outstanding requirements and follow-up needs.

• Ensure that compliance-related deadlines (e.g. reporting dates, grant conditions) are met and documented.

• Maintain clean, well-organised, and accessible digital grant files, using existing tools or systems (e.g., Google Drive, Netsuite, Salesforce, etc.) to ease retrieval and generation of reports.

• Support internal checks to ensure that funds are disbursed in line with compliance protocols and funding agreements.

3. Finance Coordination

• Liaise with the finance team to prepare and verify payment documents, banking instructions, and payment schedules.

• Support alignment between grant budgets and payment disbursements.

• Track the movement of funds across grants, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place for each transaction.

4. Donor & Internal Reporting

• Assist in preparing compliance-related sections of donor reports and internal grantmaking summaries.

• Track reporting obligations by donor or partner, and ensure all documentation is collected and filed on time, including any relevant country-specific compliance requirements.

5. Audit & Policy Support

• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, including sampling, document summaries, and data extractions.

• Assist in developing and maintaining internal tools (templates, checklists, trackers) related to grant compliance.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements in Purposeful’s compliance systems, bringing in lessons learned and audit feedback, and emerging regulatory or legal considerations relevant to our work.

Bipolar is one of the most significant mental health challenges of the 21st century, with over one million people in the UK with lived experience. That's approximately one in every 50 individuals, around 30% more than those affected by dementia.

The symptoms of bipolar can emerge at any age and the condition is increasingly affecting young people, who are more likely to screen positive than older generations. It also has a profound impact on the families and friends of those affected and the need for a dedicated national bipolar charity has never been greater.

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by bipolar, and we offer peer support at the core of our work. Our aim is to provide a nationwide Peer Support Service for people affected by bipolar and increase the reach of our delivery. To act as the voice of our community to change public attitudes, and to build a society that enables people affected by bipolar to live well and fulfil their potential.

Role: Fundraising Supporter Engagement Assistant (Apprentice)

Contract: 13-month fixed term contract with a view to be permanent after completion of apprenticeship

Location: Home-based

Salary: £23,000

Hours: This role is full time (35 hours)

Purpose:

Bipolar UK is seeking a Fundraising Supporter Engagement Assistant to aid the Fundraising Team in donor stewardship and to enabling growth in the organisation’s supporter base across all income streams.

This role is an apprenticeship with the apprentice programme starting September 2025, provided by Apprentify - an industry-led apprenticeship provider.

The successful candidate will learn and work on the job at Bipolar UK whilst receiving 20% off-the-job training from industry experts, which will be led through virtual classrooms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to help transform the lives of those affected by bipolar across the UK.

In summary the Fundraising Supporter Engagement Assistant will support the fundraising team in growing the community, individual and events fundraising income streams, and be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that all our fundraisers and donors are thanked in an appropriate manner, developing a robust stewardship programme.

• Support fundraising volunteers in a professional but empathetic way.

• Provide relevant information and resources to our fundraising volunteers in a timely manner.

• Support the team with sourcing fundraising merchandise and materials.

• Record all supporters’ non-financial information on the CRM in line with our data policies.

• Co-ordinate the challenge events programme and explore new initiatives to help grow this income stream.

• Support the fundraising team with the promotion and delivery of workplace training sessions.

• Help grow membership for our Bipolar Friendly Workplace Scheme and develop effective stewardship plans.

Scope of Work

1. Financial Data Entry & Reconciliation

• Enter and reconcile day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system, including expenses, transfers, payments, and receipts.

• Ensure all entries are accurately coded to the appropriate cost centres, grants, or funding streams.

• Review and reconcile staff expense claims, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.

2. Budgeting & Grant Allocations

• Support the allocation of expenditure to budget lines across multiple funding sources, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

• Maintain the habit to monitor actual spend against budgets using existing systems (Netsuite), highlighting any anomalies or risks.

• Assist in the preparation of internal budget summaries and financial snapshots for program and leadership teams.

3. Financial Reporting

• Assist in compiling donor financial reports by collecting, reviewing, and formatting financial data in line with donor requirements.

• Liaise with grants and programme teams to ensure alignment between financial and narrative reports.

• Maintain up-to-date and audit-ready documentation to support all reporting outputs.

4. Managing Fiscal Sponsorship Financial Reports

• Ensuring that income from fiscal sponsorship partners are accurately recorded

• Preparing regular income and expenditure reports for fiscal sponsorship partners and addressing reconciling items. 

• Represent the Finance team in update meetings with potential  or current fiscal partners.

5. Audit & Compliance Support

• Organise financial documentation and support sampling processes during internal and external audits.

• Maintain orderly and accessible digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.

• Support implementation of financial policies, templates, and compliance checks, working closely with the Head of Finance.

About the Program

The Europe Regional Finance program has evolved out of our Financial Regulation and Policy Program that began in 2019 with a narrow focus on European central banks. Since then, we've expanded to shape financial regulation and policy globally to accelerate clean energy and create lasting systemic change in how public finance addresses climate challenges. Now the Europe Regional Finance program will focus on EU Policy and Finance and UK Policy and Finance. 

About The Role

Working closely with the Program Director, the Program Manager adapts and manages the Europe Regional Finance program to ensure the program team delivers on its objectives and goals. The role requires high-level coordination and support to a team working across Europe, leading campaign planning and evaluation processes, grant management, while coordinating the program's budgeting and re-forecasting. 

The Program Manager ensures the effectiveness of the Europe Regional Finance Program by managing and coordinating its various projects, overseeing budgets and grant cycles, implementing team effectiveness initiatives, and supporting the development and execution of program planning, monitoring and evaluation processes.

We support networks of organisations to work together to achieve outcomes that would not be possible by individual organisations acting alone. We expect all roles at Sunrise to actively support the capacity building of these networks and partner organisations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and implement robust planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes and foster a culture that recognises the importance of failure and learning in the pursuit of greater impact, identifying ways of measuring impact and success.
• Manage a multi-million dollar campaign budget, including tracking spending to stay on budget, reporting on our spending to donors and internal audiences, and advising on a partner grants plan and resourcing plan.
• Manage the entire program’s grant portfolio, ensuring efficient management and processing of grants to support program delivery. This includes providing guidance to team members on grant processes, tracking and monitoring grant payments, authoring and reviewing grant dockets and memos as appropriate, working with other program teams on grants as needed, and ensuring timely follow-up and feedback with partners. 
• Oversee program’s contracts, including the hiring and onboarding of necessary new agency partnerships, contracts, and temp employees, and tracking and monitoring contract payments.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive team environment that values continuous learning and professional growth to maximize program effectiveness, including proactively supporting the professional development of individual team members and line management as appropriate for the program structure.
• Lead programmatic oversight of risk, security, and compliance as appropriate for the program and in coordination with TSP’s operations team
• Co-lead on high-performance, collaborative and sustainable teamworking by fostering Sunrise’s culture and hiring, managing, and developing talented individuals.
• Lead the planning and delivery of online and in-person events (briefings, convenings, and retreats) from ideation to debrief, with responsibilities spanning logistics, agenda design, facilitation support, vendor management, RSVP oversight, in-person support, and post-event follow-up.
• Lead in developing program-specific onboarding systems and materials for new staff and contractors that build on Sunrise-wide onboarding processes.
• Represent the program as appropriate in various operational initiatives and organizational efforts.

Technical Project Executive

As a Technical Project Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality sports facilities by guiding and supporting applicants through the technical aspects of capital grant projects. Working within an experienced team, you’ll assess the design, procurement, and delivery of construction projects—safeguarding the Foundation’s investment and ensuring compliance with national standards.

What are we looking for 

 A Graduate with a construction-related degree — such as architecture, building surveying, planning, civil engineering, quantity surveying, project management, or construction management — or hold an entry-level construction qualification with at least 12 months’ experience in a construction-related role. 

You’ll have a sound understanding of construction principles, procurement, and project management, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to reviewing designs and technical documentation. 

Strong interpersonal skills are key. You’ll be comfortable working with a range of people — from contractors and clients to volunteers — and able to explain technical matters in plain English. We’re looking for someone who can engage and inspire our applicants. 

You’ll be organised, accurate, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, are essential, along with a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn.

What can we offer you

The salary band for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

You will start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. In this role, you’ll work closely with and report to our Digital Manager to support the delivery of our digital strategy and improve how we track and measure our impact. You’ll help maintain and enhance our digital tools, particularly Salesforce, and use data insights to improve how we engage with charities, volunteers and under-represented talent. We’re looking for a technically minded problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for using digital systems to support monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Key Responsibilities: 

Data collection and analysis:

• Support programme managers to collect, manage and analyse data 

• Create and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards, contributing to a culture of data literacy and data-driven decision-making across Media Trust staff 

• Produce KPI reports and insight briefings for senior leadership 

CRM management (Salesforce):

• Maintain and improve Media Trust’s Salesforce CRM

• Maintain and improve the quality and integrity of Media Trust’s data in accordance with GDPR

You will:

- Coordinate and facilitate groups, clubs and individuals' fundraising efforts, covering primarily Merseyside and the Isle of Man.
- Identify and secure new business within your area.
- Increase engagement for the Alzheimer’s Society across our sub-region.
- Build trusted and professional relationships internally and externally.
- Recruit, manage and celebrate the value of our supporters and volunteers.

This is a home-based role with regular travel required across Merseyside and the Isle of Man to engage with supporters. You may also be expected to attend occasional internal meetings at various locations across the UK, including our flagship offices in London, Birmingham, Warrington, and Belfast.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Policy and Communications directorate working on the biggest every survey of walking, wheeling and cycling in the UK and Ireland 

As the designer you will work as part of the team to support the production of 22 localised but visually consistent reports, you will be responsible for editing infographics, text and images. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Deliver creative digital and print design projects from template to final output with support from the Senior Designer. This is likely to include multiple Walking and Cycling Index reports and social media assets.
• Independently (with training provided for specific tasks) use Adobe Creative Cloud applications, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom to create and edit materials 
• Work with a large amount of complex data to produce accurate, clear and engaging infographics.
• Support and comply with the Charity’s guidance on branding, tone of voice and key messages, positively contributing towards raising Sustrans’ profile.
• Create accessible print and digital materials and provide insight to ensure marketing materials are accessible.

We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub. 

About you 

You should have experience of producing digital print and materials using adobe Creation Cloud, as well as designing materials ensuring accuracy and high attention to detail. 

Other skills and Knowledge required 

• Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills for print and digital channels 
• Knowledge of design principles like visual hierarchy, contrast, accessibility and how to implement them in digital and print materials 
• Knowledge of design accessibility standards and approaches across all channels 
• Knowledge of how to present data in a clear, engaging way 
• Knowledge of version control and file naming conventions and storage

• Recruiting new volunteer hosts using networking and marketing skills including cold calling, following up warm leads and presenting at in person events.

About the role:

When a family member sustains a spinal cord injury it is a life changing experience for the whole family. They can feel very isolated and that no one understands what they’re going through.

Back Up’s Family Support Service is there to help. We enable a wide range of family members of all ages whose loved one is affected by spinal cord injury (SCI) to improve their wellbeing, build a support network and transform their lives through Back Up’s services. 

The Family Support Coordinator will assist in supporting family members on an individual basis as well as in group settings as appropriate, together with providing support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new family support volunteers.

A Family Support Coordinator will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

Lived experience of having a relative with SCI is essential, together with sharing our commitment to transform the lives of everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

Research Officer

We’re looking for TWO motivated and detail-oriented Research Officers to support the Association’s research funding activities and award portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a bold and ambitious research strategy that puts stroke survivors at the centre.

Position: CE376 Research officer (two posts)

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £34,400 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,275 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

Hours: 2 x 35 hours per week positions available

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months

The Role

Working closely with a friendly and knowledgeable team, you’ll manage the logistics of research funding calls, support peer review and governance processes, and ensure accurate tracking of award progress and impact.

You’ll be the first point of contact for funded researchers and play a key role in making research accessible and visible to wider audiences.

The role includes opportunities to work with the Involvement Lead and Communications Lead, developing skills in research impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management. You’ll also work closely with teams across the organisation to amplify the impact of stroke research in policy and practice.

About You

You will:

• Be educated to degree level in a science, health, social science or related discipline, or have equivalent research experience.
• Be confident handling research data, drafting accessible content, and working with a range of stakeholders including researchers, funders, and stroke survivors.
• Have excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
