Role Overview: 

This role is responsible for co-ordinating and developing Enable’s Mental Health programmes, including but not limited to Active Wellbeing; both group and personalised one-to-one exercise support for people with a diagnosis of severe mental illness.

The Health and Wellbeing Team are a passionate group of health professionals who empower people to make lasting changes to their health and wellbeing and improve their quality of life. We put the person at the centre of everything we do, building innovative initiatives that tackle barriers to improving health. We are experts at reducing health inequalities, real or perceived, and creating lasting changes. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for coordinating aspects of Enable’s Mental Health programmes. This includes planning, delivery, identifying areas for development, promotion, and reporting.
• Deliver one to one client and community assessments with adults with SMI.
• Actively participate in staff meetings to share best practice and develop thinking, knowledge and learning.
• Identify and build partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders to support the delivery and growth of the programmes.
• Working with Enable Marketing and Communications department to develop and deliver the marketing and communication plan. This will include press releases, social media activity, creating promotional literature.
• Attend and coordinate community events to network, present and promote Mental Health and other local wellbeing opportunities.
• Monitor and document income and expenditure, working within the programme budget. Complete financial administration tasks such as creating purchase orders and invoices, according to Enable policy and procedure.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of your work. Provide written reports, summaries and presentations as required. Collect feedback and case studies to evaluate the impact of the programmes.
• Assists in managing resources provided to support the departments work including staff, volunteers, materials, and equipment ensuring these are used and maintained effectively.

The Lighthouse is the first UK Child’s House, a national leader in trauma-informed, multidisciplinary support for children and young people who have experienced child sexual abuse. Based in Camden and serving North Central London, we provide integrated health assessments, therapeutic interventions, advocacy through the criminal justice process, and video recorded interviews led by clinical psychologists. Our model has influenced policy and practice across the UK, improving well-being for children and carers, and increasing convictions.

We are seeking an experienced, professionally registered Social Worker to join our team of social workers and ChISVAs. If you want to shape how social workers respond to children as victims of crime, and you are ready to deepen your expertise in complex safeguarding, this is an exceptional opportunity to work within a unique and nationally influential service.

Main Duties of the Job

In this role, you will provide specialist child-centred advocacy and coordinated support for children and young people as they navigate the criminal justice process following sexual abuse. Acting as a dedicated ChISVA-informed practitioner, you will ensure that each child understands their rights, feels heard and supported, and is prepared for every stage of their justice journey, from early decision making to court outcomes. You will offer clear, accessible information about police processes, ABE interviews, CPS decisions and court expectations, and you will work closely with police, social care and legal partners to ensure the child’s best interests remain central.

Your work will span early safeguarding oversight, holistic needs assessments and collaborative care planning with our multidisciplinary team, including CAMHS clinicians, social workers, paediatricians and NSPCC therapeutic practitioners. You will be a consistent point of contact for children, young people and their safe family members, helping them manage trauma-related needs, address practical barriers and access the support and interventions recommended by the Lighthouse. The role includes guiding families through complex and often distressing processes, ensuring they have continuous access to information, emotional support and safety planning.

At Alzheimer’s Society, we are committed to breaking down these barriers. The Alzheimer’s Society UK Dementia Trials Network (UKDTN) Trial Finder is an open-access platform that connects people living with mild cognitive impairment or dementia, their families, and healthcare professionals, with research opportunities across the UK. It empowers people to make informed decisions about taking part in clinical trials, wherever they live.
We are looking for a Clinical Trial Finder Officer who can ensure this platform is accurate, accessible, and meaningful. By raising awareness of, and widening access to, clinical trial opportunities, your work will help more people to take part in clinical trials and feel more in control of their journey.

Job Title: Dementia Service Co-ordinator 

Reporting to: Healthier Lifestyles Service Manager

Responsible for: Dementia Service Team (currently 1x PT Memory Tree Officer, 1x PT Dementia Activities Facilitator 

Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years / 35 hours per week (Mon to Fri with occasional evening and weekend cover as needed)

The Dementia Service Co-ordinator is a newly created role responsible for coordinating and developing Age UK Croydon’s Dementia Service. A varied role with development, line management, and facilitation responsibilities, it offers an exciting opportunity to join the team and help shape the service to support people living with dementia, their carers, and the wider community. The Dementia Service sits within the Healthier Lifestyles Team and currently offers six monthly Memory Tree Cafés for people living with mild to moderate dementia and their carers, alongside co-located support groups for carers. Cafes are delivered at our Brigstock Road Community Hall and across the borough in local community venues. 

The main areas of responsibility for this role are: coordinating, facilitating and expanding the existing café and carers’ group; including prioritising café expansion supported by current funding, and developing a new preventative strand of the service providing information and advice to residents on reducing the risk of developing dementia. 

The post holder will take lead responsibility for the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of our dementia-related services across the borough. You will line manage and support the dementia service staff and volunteer team to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment within our Memory Tree Cafes and carers’ support groups which promotes interaction, stimulation and wellbeing. You will also build and maintain positive working relationships across Age UK Croydon and with external partners, referrers and stakeholders, including health professionals and voluntary organisations, to strengthen, develop and promote the service. 

Age UK Croydon is currently reviewing its Dementia Service, and in this role the post holder will work closely with the Healthier Lifestyles Service Manager to put the review’s recommendations into practice, ensuring improvements and new monitoring systems are embedded across the service.

The Job

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Finance and Reporting will lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting and control. You will oversee budgeting and forecasting, produce high-quality management accounts, and lead the preparation of statutory accounts in line with Charity SORP.

The role includes responsibility for financial reporting to senior leadership, funders, partners and regulatory bodies, oversight of the annual audit, strengthening internal financial controls and managing financial risk. You will manage and develop the finance and management accounts teams and work closely with operational, fundraising and business development colleagues to support informed, strategic decision-making.

The Person

You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA) with significant post-qualification experience in senior finance roles. You will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, experience of charity finance and funding compliance, and a proven track record of leading staff/teams and managing audits. You will be confident communicating complex financial information to financial stakeholders and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-funded environment. A values-led approach and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable or socially excluded groups is essential.
