We are supporting a values-led organisation with the appointment of a Financial Controller to play a key role within a complex and impactful finance function. This position sits at the heart of financial reporting and oversight, with a strong focus on consolidated reporting within a charity environment.

This is a senior role responsible for ensuring robust financial control, high-quality statutory reporting, and effective management of multi-entity and multi-currency accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of consolidated group accounts across multiple entities
• Oversee multi-currency accounting and ensure accuracy across international operations
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts in line with Charity SORP (FRS 102)
• Act as a key contact for the audit process, including responding to audit queries
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards

Skills and Experience Required

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience preparing consolidated accounts
• Proven experience working with multi-currency accounting
• In-depth knowledge of Charity SORP (FRS 102)
• Experience preparing year-end accounts and managing audit processes
• Confident self-starter, able to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly

Desirable Experience

• Experience using IRIS accounting software
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools

About the role
We are recruiting for a Participant Experience Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person team meetings and events.

As Participant Experience Officer you will work across the Events team, supporting the strategic planning, development and implementation of our Event participants’ supporter journeys. This includes working on a wide range of activities such as Memory Walk, Trek26 and third party runs and challenges.

In this role you will both advise on and directly implement multi-channel communications journeys, from the point of registration through to event day and beyond. This will include working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate owned and paid stewardship channels, such as email, mail, social media, SMS and phone.

You will also support the testing and evaluation of stewardship across Events, ensuring continual development of our participant experience and that we are delivering the best possible experience for our participants, leading to continued engagement and lifetime value.

Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place via MS Teams on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience of supporter experience within the not-for-profit sector, and a good understanding of the role of stewardship, with experience of developing and delivering multi-channel supporter journeys. You’ll be a good communicator with the ability to work collaboratively, influence and inform others.

Crucially, you’ll be able to manage a range of complex projects, meet deadlines and use problem-solving to implement solutions. You’ll also be able to interpret complex data and make recommendations based on analysis.

What you’ll focus on:

- Working with the Senior Participant Experience Manager, Participant Experience Manager and other Participant Experience Officers to oversee the supporter experience of all event participants.
- Working collaboratively with other teams, including Event Leads, Omnichannel, Data Analysis, Digital Engagement, Supporter Care and Regional Engagement to develop and maintain the best supporter experience.
- Contributing to the planning and development of event participant and volunteer stewardship journeys and deliver areas of responsibility.

- Managing relationships with external agencies (including fulfilment houses) to ensure best value and optimum levels of service at all times.
- Developing robust data analysis and testing processes across events stewardship campaigns.
- Analysing the progress and impact of our supporter experiences, providing support to live campaigns and feeding into event evaluations with recommendations.

About this role

As Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will play a central role in developing and managing Cranfield Trust's high-value relationships with funders, donors and partners. This includes identifying new funding and partnership opportunities, shaping compelling proposals, and building and stewarding trusted relationships that lead to long-term support. 

You would be joining us at an important point in our development, with a new CEO, and a new strategy being introduced later this year. Demand for our support is high and growing rapidly, and how we respond will shape our future impact.

This is a remote working role, open to candidates based anywhere in the United Kingdom, but occasional attendance at face-to-face meetings, events and in-house training/development is a core requirement of the role.  In this role, you will work closely with our Wales and Scotland Managers and we are keen to hear from interested candidates in Scotland or Wales.

We’re looking for an Engagement Coordinator to help grow and energise our Community for Change—a UK-wide network of supporters, members, and Local Groups campaigning for safer streets in their communities.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll play a key part in building a vibrant, active movement. You’ll support and connect grassroots campaigners, help bring new supporters into our work, and ensure our members feel valued and inspired to take action.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the successful and efficient conversion of enquiries to confirmed and contracted business. 
• Develop and execute a plan for sales activates including sales calls, presentations, tradeshows and market relevant activates.
• Develop long term, collaborative partnerships with key clients where a mutually beneficial relationship can support the aims of the Southbank Centre. 
• Liaise with other departments to maximise the income generating opportunities for Southbank Centre in areas including events, sponsorship and membership. 
• Develop a range of marketing tools to maximise hires across site, including ensuring web pages are up-to-date and identifying advertising opportunities.

Skills & Experience

• Proven sales ability with a track record of securing and developing new income across multiple sites - Has a clear understanding of the events industry and can demonstrate transferable skills to this role.
• Has experience marketing a multi-site and multi-event venue.
• Is able to work well and communicate with a wide range of people with tact and diplomacy, including Southbank Centre’s key stakeholders.
• Can demonstrate a keen interest in and appreciation of Southbank Centre and a belief in its mission.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data and Insights Officer to join our Impact and Evaluation team and shape how data is used at Chance to Shine. The role holder will strengthen our data practices and lead our monitoring analysis to ensure data is used effectively to support continuous improvement, planning and shape future priorities. They will play a key role in helping Chance to Shine use data in line with wider best practice by working collaboratively with internal and external partners, and being proactive in identifying and driving improvements.

This is a London Office based contract. A minimum of two days a week in the office would be required with the option to work from home on the other days. The role holder will need to be flexible as and when they are required to attend meetings, events, mostly in London but elsewhere around the country.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead management, analysis and reporting of monitoring data – ensuring the organisation and partners have timely, robust and relevant analysis. Engaging data visualisation to meet needs of different audiences.

· Plan and deliver data quality assurance processes; regular KPI analysis for England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Sport England and internal reporting; and analysis to support fundraising applications and reports.

· Identify and carry out improvements, including effective use of DfE and other data to make sure our systems reflect the most relevant and up-to-date information.

· Work collaboratively with the Director of Strategy and Impact, Impact and Evaluation Manager and Operations department to identify and deliver more detailed analysis to support learning, planning and inform strategic priorities.

· Work closely with the Digital Systems Manager to ensure we are using digital tools effectively internally for monitoring analysis and reporting.

· Work closely with Operations department to ensure we collect and use the right data effectively and together provide support to delivery partners to understand and use analysis.

· Stay abreast of relevant wider developments to inform and improve our monitoring approach – particularly in terms of DfE, DCMS, ECB and Sport England data.

· Support the Impact & Evaluation team with other ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

· Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools - experienced in using Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables) and Power BI to clean and manipulate data and build engaging, interactive dashboards and reports

· Data collection and analysis – demonstrable experience working confidently with large, complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources, ensure its accuracy and analyse it meaningfully

· Experience leveraging AI to support data collection and data analysis

· Collaborative working skills – the ability to work confidently with a range of colleagues to understand, agree and deliver analytical priorities

· Communication skills – able to communicate analytical findings clearly to different audiences

· Organisational skills - able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
