We are recruiting for an Emotional Mental Health Worker to support young people aged 11-25 living in Worthing and surrounding areas.
Mind The Gap Emotional Health Support offers young people an alternative way of accessing mental health support. The service offers support to young people who are struggling to find or engage with the right services. This support offer is youth-work based non-clinical support. Working primarily from Worthing Library, you will deliver face-to-face sessions using evidence-based interventions to engage, educate and empower young people around issues affecting their emotional wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
- Offer 7 sessions of support to each young person, including initial needs assessment and weekly sessions
- Lead on facilitation of emotional well-being and psycho-educational groups
- Support young people transitioning from specialist CAMHS/AMHS services
- Work systemically with parents/carers, educators, and health professionals
- Develop links with agencies and make appropriate referrals
- Promote service user participation and voice
- Comply with safeguarding, health & safety, data protection and EDI policies

The Role
The Communications, Engagement and Advocacy Manager will lead the day-to-day delivery of the Trust’s communications, advocacy, and engagement work. We are looking for a new senior political adviser who will help build on our relationships and networks across Westminster, to deliver ambitious political leadership on a range of issues. The post holder will be responsible for leading advocacy interventions and providing political support to our policy experts, primarily in the natural environment theme, with a direct focus on nature, land use, food and farming.

Position in the Organisation

The Senior Immigration Solicitor (Violence Against Women and Girls & Migrant Justice) will lead on complex immigration casework and strategic legal interventions, with a particular focus on supporting Black, minoritised, and migrant (BMM) women affected by violence against women and girls (VAWG), especially those with insecure immigration status or no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
This is a senior role requiring a high degree of professional autonomy, decision-making, and initiative. While the postholder will be formally accountable to the Head of Community Engagement and Legal Services, they will operate with minimal day-to-day supervision, taking a lead in shaping casework strategy, driving systemic change, and strengthening SBS’s legal offer.

Rough Sleeping Outreach and Assessment Worker – £34,127 per annum

Join SPEAR and help end homelessness across Richmond and Wandsworth. As a Rough Sleeping Outreach and Assessment Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our Street Outreach Service and the new 24-hour Assessment Centre. One night you could be out on the street engaging with people sleeping rough; the next day you might be welcoming someone to the centre, creating a support plan, and linking them to housing and health services.
What you’ll do
- Carry out late-night street outreach and day-time reception shifts as part of a rota.
- Build trusting relationships with people who are rough sleeping and help them move quickly into safe accommodation.
- Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support, including assessments, personalised action plans and follow-on help to sustain tenancies.
-Work closely with partner agencies to connect clients to health, housing, and other specialist services.
-Keep accurate case notes and share information securely using CHAIN and InForm systems.
About you
You bring experience of working with vulnerable adults, ideally in homelessness or a related field, and you’re confident working late-night shifts. You can build rapport quickly, stay calm under pressure, and work well with partner agencies. Above all, you believe that homelessness should be rare, brief and non-recurring.
