About the Role

The Fundraising Events Executive will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of the Harlequins Foundation's events programme. Working closely with the Head of Programmes, Partnerships and Events and the Partnerships Manager, you will help deliver engaging, high-quality events that raise awareness, strengthen stakeholder relationships and generate fundraising opportunities.

Acting as a first point of contact for supporters and fundraisers, you will provide excellent stewardship and administrative support while helping to ensure events are delivered professionally, safely and efficiently. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines event planning, supporter engagement, logistics coordination and on-the-day delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of a range of fundraising and engagement events.
• Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, equipment and communications.
• Support the smooth and professional delivery of events and fundraising activities.
• Act as a key point of contact for participants, supporters and fundraisers.
• Deliver outstanding supporter care and stewardship from registration through to post-event follow-up.

Role Summary

Account Management & Stewardship

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and selected trusts and foundations, delivering excellent relationship management, stewardship and reporting.

The Role

At National Voices, our aim is to make what matters to people matter in health and care. While the intentions of decision makers are usually good, they can unwittingly develop services which are difficult to access, stressful to experience and which don’t enable people to live life to its full potential.

We believe that if health and care leaders were better supported to meaningfully involve people living with health conditions, disability, inequality and their carers in decisions about how services are delivered then our NHS and social care services would be more equitable, and person centred.

At National Voices, we believe that this can best be achieved by connecting health and care leaders in health and care to key groups including:

• Leaders within the patient participation movement, who can support and advise health and care leaders on how to share power with people and communities using coaching and quality improvement techniques, and by acting as a critical friend.

We are looking for a Participation Manager who can lead on the design, development and delivery of funded projects that generate insight, support improvement, and enable meaningful participation in health and care decision making. This will include end-to-end responsibility for project design, delivery, reporting and impact.

Projects may include designing and delivering activity such as workshops, coordinating lived experience advisory groups, coordinating coalitions of VCSE organisations, undertaking qualitative research, facilitation and engagement work. The postholder will need sufficient breadth of experience across these areas to confidently design and steer programmes, while drawing on colleagues, partners and associates for specialist input where needed.

You will be responsible for overall programme management - ensuring projects are well planned, appropriately resourced, and delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. This includes managing risks, reporting requirements and funder relationships.

Projects may also include co-ordinating the delivery of Voices for Improvement coaching relationships and workshops on meaningful participation. We are open to a Participation Manager who has skills and experience around coaching theory and practice, however, we can also bring in external Associates with this subject matter expertise where needed to guide and supervise the coaching elements of the process.

You will also play an active role in identifying and developing new funding and partnership opportunities, contributing to the growth of National Voices’ portfolio of externally funded work.

Finally, where needed, you will also work collaboratively with another Participation Manager who leads National Voices’ Lived Experience Partner programme, membership scheme and partnership programme. You will contribute to these areas where required, particularly where they intersect with funded projects, but they will not be the primary focus of this role.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of funded participation projects

Lead the end-to-end design, delivery and management of funded programmes and projects that generate insight, support improvement and drive meaningful participation in health and care, including:

• Lead on shaping, securing and delivering funded projects from proposal stage through to completion, ensuring clear outcomes and impact
• Design and oversee programmes that may include research, engagement and participatory activity, such as qualitative and quantitative research, stakeholder engagement and participation work

Our approach to hybrid working

We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.

We ask all staff to take part in pre-arranged team meetings which take place every six weeks in our office space. We also might ask you to meet in-person with members of your team from time to time, or to be available for face-to- face meetings with clients and partners where this enhances the work.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.

The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. About You

Essential

• Proven experience managing CRM systems in a charity or fundraising context and being comfortable working with large datasets.

• Experience with data segmentation, ETL processes, transformation and import / export processes.

• Strong understanding of data protection legislation (e.g. GDPR).

• Understanding of Gift Aid regulations and charity fundraising compliance.

o Liaising with the CRY Screening Managers / Drivers / Bookings Coordinator with all details regarding the event.

o Working with and managing the online booking system for your CRY screening events.

o Confirming event information and updating the screening spreadsheet (known as the ‘Screening Calendar’) with any changes.

o Producing screening posters via Canva to advertise screening events.

o Producing results letters, mail-merging letters and ensuring they are created and sent in a timely manner.

o Managing email distribution lists (waiting lists) for individuals who wish to be notified about future screening events in their area; including updating the lists as needed and sending notifications when new event dates are released.

o Ensuring all equipment and consumables are ready for the screening event and all prepared for the Driver to take on the CRY van.

o Managing and inputting data into various CRY screening spreadsheets – e.g. producing information spreadsheets for use by the screening team on the day of the screening event.

Ad hoc Duties:

o Providing support to other members of the screening team with their assigned CRY screening events when needed (e.g. to cover annual leave, sickness, etc).

o Answering telephone queries and emails about screening.

o Secondary telephone answering duties for both the screening phone number and the main CRY office phone number.

o Secondary ‘ECG’ mailbox answering duties.

o Ensuring that records (physical and digital) are kept in accordance with general data protection and information security regulations (GDPR and related legislation)

o Other office administration tasks at the request of the Screening Team Leader, Screening Manager or the Director of Screening and Research.

About the role

You will support young people who have been affected by child criminal exploitation and missing. You will also work with many parents and carers who need emotional support, advice, information and/or advocacy because their child is being criminally exploited. You will provide a safe and confidential space for them to talk through their experiences and help them to understand their options and how to stay safe. You will be a strong advocate for young people and families, working with them and other agencies to ensure they get the help they need to stay safe, and to reduce the risks of harm they face.

Support families, carers, children, and young people who have been affected by exploitation/missing.

• Deliver national anonymous support via phone, email, SMS, and live chat, working collaboratively with the helpline team to offer a wraparound exploitation support service.
• Promptly assess referrals from police, local authority staff, project workers and children / young people as well as families for service suitability.
• Hold case discussions and consult managers as necessary to assess risk and plan service user support where the risk is heightened. 

Speak up for children, young people, parents and carers who are at risk

• Support individuals receiving our service to have their voice heard by the various professionals, carers and family members in their lives.

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our International Programmes Directorate and play a pivotal role in supporting high-impact humanitarian and development programmes across West and Central Africa (WACA) region. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a programme management professional with strong donor-funded programme experience to oversee a diverse portfolio operating in some of the region's most complex and dynamic contexts. Working closely with Plan International Country Offices, regional teams, technical advisers, finance colleagues, donors and external partners, you will support the successful delivery of programmes that advance children's rights and gender equality, while ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organisational standards. 

As a key focal point for Country Offices across the WACA region, you will provide strategic oversight and support throughout the programme cycle, from start-up to close-out. You will monitor programme performance, manage risks, coordinate donor reporting, facilitate learning and help teams navigate delivery challenges to achieve lasting outcomes for children and communities. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with institutional donors and other stakeholders, helping to strengthen Plan International's reputation as a trusted partner across the region. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the humanitarian-development nexus, supporting programmes that respond to humanitarian crises while delivering long-term development impact. 

You'll be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and skilled at working collaboratively across diverse teams and cultural contexts. Fluency in French and English is essential, as is the willingness and ability to travel within the region when required, potentially at short notice (up to 30% of working time).
