Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Development Manager: 

• The Corporate Partnerships Development Manager will play a key role at Cats Protection by raising new and transformational funds in support of the organisation’s 10 year strategic objectives.

• The role will lead the Corporate Partnerships new business team, to build profitable, multiyear relationships with companies, ensuring propositions are maximised and new partners onboarded to the highest standards 

About the Corporate Partnerships team: 

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate. 

• The corporate partnerships team is split between new business and account management, made up of driven, passionate and dynamic corporate fundraisers 

• We currently have a team of one full time and one part time Senior Corporate Partnerships Development Officers in new business. On account management side our team consist of a Corporate Partnerships Development Manager, Corporate Partnerships Account Manager and Corporate Partnerships Officer. This is in addition to a Lead Corporate Partnerships Manager who oversees the entire corporate partnerships team.

• Significant experience of developing relationships and raising money from new businesses and other corporate organisations. 

• A demonstrable track record of delivering significant financial results against agreed targets and timescales. 

• Experience of leading fundraising teams to deliver and drive income and growth 

• Significant experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholders and relationships at a variety of levels

What we need from you:

• Have a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.

Purpose of the job

To work with Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises delivery team to oversee the administration of The Roding Rises, a three-year project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund that aims to kick-start the revitalisation of the River Roding. This position will work alongside Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises Project Manager to ensure that every day finance functions for The Roding Rises project operate efficiently and accurately. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Track project costs against projected budget to ensure budget vs actual expenditure is effectively managed, raising concerns early with Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises Project Manager. 
• Complete The National Lottery Heritage Fund claims process at agreed intervals to ensure an appropriate cash flow.   
• Assist with relevant reporting tasks back to project funders.
• Work with the Thames21 Head of Finance and Thames21 Finance Officer to ensure all payments are completed in a timely manner in line with internal financial processes and any outstanding payments are managed in line with the approved funding agreement/ project proposal documentation. 
• Support The Roding Rises Project Manager with the administration of the Roding Grant Scheme.
• Support the development and integration of improved financial tracking and reporting processes across wider Thames21 teams.

Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying, securing and developing partnerships that generate sustainable income and create meaningful impact for our charity.

Who you are:

As a fundraising generalist, you will be well organised, provide strong administrative support, give excellent supporter care, write strong copy and be able to coordinate content creation.

Primary duties:

• You will be responsible for continuing to grow our legacy programme, implementing the strategy developed by the Head of Development. This will include drafting copy and working with a designer to create evergreen legacy content, creating and maintaining content for our website, coordinating and drafting legacy communications and campaigns, managing legacy enquiries, thanking and stewarding legacy pledgers, and managing the legacy pipeline in Beacon.

• You will support our community fundraising strategy. • You will support our corporate fundraising offering, ensuring we have the tools and information for businesses to support THL UK in a variety of ways. • You will complete due diligence on donors and donations where required. This will include desktop research, completing relevant forms and information in Beacon, and making sure relevant approvals are obtained before accepting donations or approaching new donors or funders.

• You will coordinate essential thanking activities for key donors and supporters. This will include coordinating the design and printing of thanking cards, and other relevant stewardship materials or merchandise, to be utilised by those across the organisation, including to support our volunteers. You will also coordinate thanking campaigns (e.g. thanking monthly donors and major donors), which will involve collating recipient lists, getting cards designed and printed, and coordinating staff and trustees to sign and send.

• You will provide vital administrative support for events, including our annual presence at conferences such as EA Global in London, as well as our own annual supporter event. This could include collating guest lists, staff registration, coordinating invitations and RSVP’s, managing room bookings, hotels and catering, coordinating staff and trustees, and completing risk assessments.

• You will produce clear, accurate and engaging written communications, and coordinate the creation of content. This could mean drafting content for the website, drafting emails, building emails in Engaging Networks, or supporting our Digital Fundraising Lead with developing evergreen content to support our digital fundraising initiatives.

• You will support our Digital Fundraising Lead to make sure our growing pool of monthly donors are thanked and stewarded appropriately, including utilising Beacon, automations and supporter journeys to make the most efficient use of our time.

• Liaise with and coordinate support from third-parties / external consultants where necessary, such as providing support for specific campaigns or projects, and / or providing fundraising materials.

• Help us galvanise further support by lending your organisational skills to fundraising events.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive self-starter to sit within a high-performing team working to raise awareness of SSAFA’s support in the South West Region of England to those in the Armed Forces Community who need it most.

With the ultimate objective being to grow SSAFA’s presence, profile, and identity, the role is responsible for all marcomms activation in the region. The role holder will work to deliver the central Fundraising, Marketing & Communications strategy.

This role reports to the Head of Communications with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate. The marcomms manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in the South West Region of England and promoting SSAFA’s fundraising initiatives and services.
