About the role:

Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. Main purpose of the role:

This is a new role working within Battersea’s Income Generation department to develop and deliver the campaign plan for a £4-6million pound capital fundraising appeal.

One of the key pillars of Battersea’s current strategy is to ensure that we continue to provide expert care for all the dogs and cats that come through our gates. One of the ways in which we do this is by investing in our facilities to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the animals we care for. This fundraising campaign will help to achieve that aim.

You will work with teams across Battersea to develop a comprehensive plan for the campaign and co-ordinate the work of multiple specialist teams to deliver the campaign on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for developing a clear governance structure for the campaign, and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress. You will also oversee and track progress of a series of internal process improvements that support the running of the campaign.

Please note, this is not a direct fundraising position, but will support our fundraising teams in delivering ambitious financial targets for the appeal.

Role and Responsibilities

Housing and Service Delivery

• Provide strong and effective support to residents in Acorn House that focuses on their strengths and goals, and is delivered in a personalised way and within a framework of active engagement and co-production

• Developing and reviewing support plans that reflect the interests and aspirations of residents

• Induct new residents in line with the service’s policies and procedures and support them to continue in their journey towards recovery from addiction

• Carry out assessments of those referred to Acorn House, and induct new residents

• Ensure the fundamental needs of residents are met including good quality accommodation and facilities, healthy food, advice and guidance around benefits, and alcohol and drug testing (to help maintain an abstinent environment)

• Deal with the immediate support needs of residents as appropriate, providing crisis intervention where necessary

• Support residents in addressing physical and mental health issues, including liaison with primary and secondary health teams

• Ensure residents are supported through court or welfare rulings (if necessary)

• Ensure effective and compliant administration of resident data using a bespoke Salesforce- based platform (In-Form)

• Ensure Housing Benefit and Services Charges are collected and managed effectively 

• Be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the service, ensuring high quality support is provided

Contract Managers are responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role.

What you'll do:
- Drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary

About Barnet African Caribbean Association
Barnet African Caribbean Association is a small but long-standing registered charity dedicated to supporting older. Many of our members live with long-term health conditions such as the effects of stroke or dementia.

We run a weekly day centre on Tuesdays, where we bring people together to enjoy a hot meal, social activities and companionship. From exercise classes, arts and crafts, quizzes and games, to health visitor sessions, our programme is designed to promote wellbeing, reduce isolation and celebrate culture. The Role
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Digital Content & Communications Manager; a creative all-rounder who thrives on “doing,” not just talking strategy. You’ll have ownership of our digital content: crafting impactful videos, visuals, and copy for our social channels and websites, and creating engaging resources for marketing, learning and programme delivery. You’ll energise our digital platforms while continuously improving their effectiveness and reach.
This role is delivery-first: you’ll “own” the hands-on creation, scheduling, and optimisation of digital content. You’ll have input into what and when we share and will help shape digital plans, but the heart of the job is practical content production and sharing. Press and comms partnerships are supporting responsibilities, not the main focus.

Your Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Content Creation & Delivery (Primary)

• Design, produce, and post engaging multimedia assets (video, graphics, infographics, stories) for social media, and our websites.
• Amplify authentic stories, ideas, and perspectives from our beneficiaries to move and motivate audiences.

2. Social Media & Community Building

• Plan, schedule, post, and manage engagement on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, as well as newsletters
• Grow and nurture audiences—especially among schools, judges, volunteers, educators, and young people.
• Monitor trends and adapt content for impact.

3. Learning & Programme Resource Design

• Work with colleagues to create compelling, accessible learning resources and marketing materials for schools, corporate partners, funders, and events.
• Design digital newsletters, reports, and campaign materials that support fundraising, stewardship, and participant development.

4. Marketing of Programmes

• Provide marketing support to the programmes team to help promote our programmes to schools and other charities primarily through developing marketing collateral and supporting outbound email campaigns

5. Website Management & Continuous Improvement

• Manage day-to-day website updates, keeping our sites fresh, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
• Seek out and implement small improvements that enhance user experience, accessibility, and recruitment effectiveness.

6. Press, Media & Profile

• Develop and deliver a practical approach to meeting regional press grant requirements (e.g. one piece per final); contribute occasional press releases if needed.

7. Support the Team’s broader objectives

• Help colleagues use digital tools, solve basic problems, and build digital skills through sharing, to improve our digital content
• Champion creative, inclusive, and accessible digital comms internally.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong track record in creating digital content, managing social media, and designing educational/promotional materials (charity, youth, or education sector experience a plus).
• Experience with website content management and the ability to identify and deliver incremental improvements.
• Skilled in video and design (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar) and software to support website and newsletter design.
• Clear, compelling written English for content, newsletters, and reports.
• Ability to grow and nurture digital communities—especially for school, volunteer, and judge recruitment.
• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Supportive, sharing, and positive in approach.
• Passion for youth empowerment, diversity, and practical creativity.

• Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum (pro-rata, 0.6 FTE, depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Partnerships & Relationship Management:

• Build, manage, and steward relationships with corporate supporters, focusing on the healthcare, legal, insurance, and life sciences sectors.
• Develop and implement AvMA’s corporate partnerships offer, including sponsorship packages and bespoke opportunities.
• Identify and research new corporate prospects, working with colleagues to make approaches and secure partnerships.
• Lead the ongoing development of AvMA’s corporate fundraising strategy and toolkit, ensuring they reflect best practice and meet organisational needs.

Workplace Giving & Employee Engagement:

• Support and promote employee fundraising initiatives, matched giving, payroll giving, and workplace events.
• Provide companies and staff teams with engaging fundraising materials, advice, and digital resources.
• Develop case studies and impact content to showcase corporate and employee fundraising.

Digital Fundraising & Content Development:

• Create and maintain engaging digital content for the corporate fundraising section of AvMA’s new website.
• Use online platforms and digital channels to promote corporate giving opportunities and events.
• Work with our communications team to integrate corporate messaging into wider campaigns.

Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all corporate activity and income using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on performance against targets.
• Use data insights to improve supporter journeys and maximise income

General

• Attend in-person meetings and events as required (travel expenses covered).
• Contribute to AvMA’s wider fundraising strategy and cross-team projects.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

Job Purpose

BSR education programme is a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, providing updates on the essentials needed to deliver top-quality care for patients and ensuring professional development opportunities.  

This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager, Event Executive and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and digital learning activities.  You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board.  

This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. It is a unique opportunity to be part of the team at the forefront of rheumatology education, making a tangible impact on the professional development of members and the broader rheumatology community. 

Main Responsibilties 

Event & Course Management 

• Lead on course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials. 
• Support course logistics including venue sourcing and management, accommodation and travel, catering and AV. 
• Support stakeholder management at education courses, including communications with patients, sponsors and event supporters. 
• Occasional travel, including attendance and overnight stays at BSR conferences, courses and events.

Systems & Data Management 

• Oversee the team’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and registration systems, ensuring data integrity, implementing system enhancements, coordinating stakeholders, and carrying out testing.  

Project Coordination 

• Coordinate the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery. 
• Coordinate the education bursary programme, including promotion, application management and financial reconciliation. 
• Coordinate CPD accreditation of educational activities. 
• Support the delivery of digital sponsorship and educational partnership opportunities. 

Marketing & Communications 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to create digital content to engage target audiences.

General Duties 

• Manage events inbox and education team enquiries, delivering excellent customer service. 
• Input into education budgets by monitoring progress against income and expenditure for owned projects.
• Support with BSR Committee liaison and logistics. 
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Education and the Events and Education Manager.
