You may have thought that leprosy is an ancient Biblical disease, but today someone is diagnosed with leprosy every two minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. But without fast treatment, leprosy can cause blindness and disable hands and feet. Rejection, isolation, hopelessness. We believe that this is not how God wants people to live. The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with over 150 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:

· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.

· You’ll be gathering and shaping powerful authentic stories that highlight the impact of RNID’s work, supporting RNID’s strategic goals.

· When you join us, you’ll dive straight into important campaigns like our Protect Your Hearing Campaign, helping to craft meaningful stories. You might find yourself out on location, capturing powerful stories firsthand from our amazing storytellers or coordinating a photo shoot featuring one of our celebrity supporters.

As Stories Officer, you will:

· Work closely with the Stories & Celebrity Manager, identify, interview, and write-up case study stories from people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or tinnitus to support RNID’s campaigns, media, and fundraising efforts.

· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.

· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.

· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.

· Manage multiple internal and external storyteller requests.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

You will have excellent writing skills, with experience in journalism, PR, or a similar field, and a strong ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire. Your interviewing skills will be key, as you’ll need to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident sharing their stories.

Sensitivity and empathy will be essential as you capture authentic, impactful stories. In addition, you’ll be an exceptional multitasker, able to manage multiple storytelling requests and competing priorities with ease. Your proactive and creative approach will drive you to consistently find new ways to tell powerful stories that align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.

We are recruiting a Digital Fundraising Assistant to assist in the delivery of our growing virtual events programme. 

This is an exciting new role which involves supporting delivery of a wide range of virtual events at Sands, in order to grow our fundraising income.  The role includes increasing Sands’ online presence across a range of channels through excellent stewardship of large audiences who are both warm and new supporters. 

You will ensure delivery of a world class supporter experience using an omnichannel approach, helping our supporters reach and exceed their fundraising targets.

Working with the Digital Fundraising Manager, you will monitor the everchanging virtual challenge environment and consider how best to adapt our activities in order to achieve financial targets and remain innovative and a leader within the sector.

You will have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships, especially within online communities. Additionally, you will have an understanding of a wide range of social media channels and an interest in creating refreshing, inspiring content.

The Ideal Candidate will need:

• Recognised Graphic Design qualification to degree level or equivalent.
• A strong working knowledge and experience working on successful Direct Marketing campaigns to drive income and response and the whole end to end design processes and the printing process.
• Minimum of six years professional design experience in busy studio environment – working as part of a creative team in an agency or in-house.
• Ideally, experience of working in a direct marketing creative team
• Working in an Apple Mac environment, with a minimum of six years hands-on experience of the industry standard packages – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, After Effects and Premier Pro.

Interpret stakeholder briefs into meaningful creative executions using exploratory evaluation through meetings or workshops.  You will need to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop concepts and / or options. Barnabas Aid is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Legacy Administrator to join our International Support function within the Finance team. The Legacy Administrator will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of legacy and will-related processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of gifts received through bequests, wills, and estates. This role requires close attention to detail, accurate record-keeping, and a sensitive approach to working with legacy supporters and their families.

Working closely with the International Finance Director, the Legacy Administrator will be a key point of contact for all legacy-related matters, providing crucial support to the organisation’s legacy income and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that gifts left to Barnabas Aid are administered correctly and that supporters’ wishes are honoured.

Our Community Fundraising Team are a nationwide team, supporting individuals and groups across the UK to raise vital funds for people living with and affected by diabetes.

We’re looking for someone who can inspire and collaborate, building strong, positive relationship. As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser’s, you’ll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You will also be responsible for the management and support of local third-party events in your region and in providing excellent stewardship to those supporters.

This role is home-based with regular travel across the region. There will also be regular travel to Diabetes UK offices for meetings. 

This role will only be suited to candidates living within the Eastern Region (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk).

You’ll be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets through relationship fundraising. You’ll be experienced in building and maintaining relationships with supporters and colleagues. A proactive person, you’ll be self-motivated and able to work independently with a solution focused approach. As an experienced fundraiser, you’ll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.

You will have a passion for building excellent relationships with your supporters to increase loyalty and life-long relationships with the charity.

About the role

As a Senior CRM and Data Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting staff across NCVO in making the most of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Acting as the go-to expert, you’ll provide guidance, training, and technical support to ensure the CRM is used confidently and effectively across the organisation. Your work will help maintain the quality and integrity of our data through regular imports, cleansing, and quality checks, ensuring compliance with data protection standards. You’ll also take the lead on developing and managing our Power BI reporting suite, creating impactful dashboards and visualisations that support data-driven decision-making. Your role will include supporting ongoing CRM development projects, maintaining system integrations—particularly with Business Central—and contributing to a smooth rollout of new features. This post provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity to supervise, deliver and lead on our stakeholder and community engagement to support the delivery of NEA’s work programme.  The role will help deliver projects that can change lives, particularly during the energy crisis. 

NEA’s project work aims to bring improvements to the health and wellbeing of low income and vulnerable householders, through one-to-one advice, group awareness sessions, upskilling and sharing of best practice. 

Delivering on a range or projects, which demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders, you will understand and drive the development of partnerships working with local authorities, housing providers, and various other partners.

You will oversee the delivery of project outputs and outcomes, delivering energy and fuel debt advice directly to householders and be responsible for the preparation of reports to funders including collation of evidence of outcomes achieved, maintaining relationships with a network of stakeholders across a region.

You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.

It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them. 

You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress. 

You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

WE ARE OFFERING:

• £33,931 to £38,594 (Points 23 – 28) (plus £3,300 London Weighting if applicable). New appointments are usually made at the starting point of the scale.

Responsibilities of our Senior Individual Giving Officer:

• This role is crucial in delivering the charity’s Individual Giving programme, working across multiple communication channels to grow sustainable income for Cats Protection by recruiting and stewarding supporters across a range of products.
• This includes everything from making TV ads, working with Face-to-Face fundraisers, running our digital campaigns, mailings, telemarketing campaigns, and much more– all of which feature cats at the heart, of course. You will need to work with both internal departments and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

About the Individual Giving Team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
• We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media

What we’re looking for in our Senior Individual Giving Officer:

• Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar role, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
• Experience in leading the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
• Experience in budget management, ideally with multiple income and expenditure items
• Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets, and measuring against KPIs
• Experience of at least some broad-based fundraising, such as Direct Mail, DRTV, telephone, digital or face-to-face fundraising

Our partner, an international charity, is looking to recruit an experienced analyst with a background in finance business partnering. The successful candidate will be joining the organisation during an interesting period, and be curious, with a strong analytical mind and ability to interpret financial information, and be articulate. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure that there is a sound understanding of business areas in terms of both present as well as forecasted performance.
• Work with budget holders on the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that any advice/support in understanding the numbers is provided in a timely manner, and that they and senior management are supported in their decision making.
• Lead on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts.
• Undertake budgetary versus actual expenditure analysis, providing reports and meaningful information to budget holders and senior finance team members.
• Support in developing project budgets on a full cost recovery basis, and in the preparation of donor report.
• Support in undertaking grant reconciliations.
• Offer coaching and training as required.

Requirements

• Experienced finance professional, highly numerate and analytical, able to understand the business and strategic outlook of the organisation, able to interpret financial information and communicate this clearly and precisely.
• Experience in developing budgets & forecasts, and undertaking and presenting analysis, both in writing and verbally.
• Strong communication and finance business partnering skills – able to accurately and precisely communicate important financial information to non-finance budget holders, and senior management staff, challenge numbers and support in sound decision making.
• Experience of working in an international organisation, in a multi-currency environment, and with colleagues based globally.
• Experience in the financial management of grants, including developing budgets for proposals (on a full cost recovery basis), and reporting for donors is strongly desirable.
• Strong systems/IT skills
• Experience in offering coaching on internal controls & processes, budgets & accompanying analysis, and systems/IT.

This is a remote role, and the candidate can be based anywhere in the UK. Please note, this role cannot accomodate remote working from outside the UK, and as such is only open to candidates with the right to work in the UK. 

We’re looking for a well-organised person, with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude. You will enjoy undertaking a variety of work from project work to administration. You will have gained two-years work experience in grant making, so will be comfortable working with others and will feel confident using IT applications and databases.This role is remotely based, you’ll be in touch with the rest of the team on a daily basis, but you’ll also feel comfortable undertaking tasks yourself and will competently manage your own time.You will also have a passion for our values and our work.
