Play can also reduce the number of attempts to deliver treatment, the need for sedation and the need for repeat appointments. Prioritising children’s right to play in healthcare results in healthier, happier children who are involved in their own healing and recovery as well as more efficient treatment and care.

Our Strategy and the role of Policy and Public Affairs Coordinator

As a result of the rapid progress and positive outcomes of us leading, managing and coordinating an increasingly cohesive alliance for systemic change in children’s healthcare, we are now in the position of moving some of our focus to the Government and Parliament. This will involve sensitive networking, stakeholder engagement and relationship management. To sustain the momentum and maximise these opportunities, we now want to appoint a permanent coordinator who is dynamic, empathic and curious; with the experience and ability to coordinate and administer the work of a small team working at pace in a fast-changing environment.

The postholder will need to maintain superb attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities (and a diverse range of relationships). About The Role

As Prospect Research Manager at Place2Be you will play a key role in driving income growth across a thriving Fundraising Team. Major Giving Administrator

Reporting to: Major Giving Manager – Trusts & Foundations

JOB PURPOSE

This new role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of fundraising within a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.

You will play a key role in helping to futureproof and sustainably grow Magic Breakfast’s income from trusts, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). This is a varied and rewarding role, with the opportunity for creativity with your own pool of funders.

You will be part of the Major Giving team, which secures income from trusts, foundations, and HNWIs. While your primary focus will be on trusts and foundations fundraising, you will also support the team’s work with HNWIs, adapting to the team’s needs as required.

 With support from a friendly and experienced team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of trusts and foundations, managing relationships and securing donations typically ranging from £500 to £10,000. In supporting the team’s work with HNWIs, you will help to deliver outstanding donor care, nurture long-term relationships, and contribute to securing transformational gifts. Strong writing, communication, and research skills will be key to your success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• With support, submit reports, deliver effective communications and maintain engaging relationships with your pool of existing funders.

As a Day Centre Assessment & Reconnection Worker, you will play a key role at that first point of contact. You will ensure people are welcomed calmly, understood quickly, and supported to access the right pathway. The Influencing Project Manager will work as part of a flexible team to develop, lead and manage the stakeholder engagement, influencing and communications elements of the Volunteering for Health programme.
 
Volunteering for Health is a £10million learning programme focused on testing, building and growing healthcare volunteering infrastructure. The programme has invested in fifteen systems across England who are navigating complex health systems to ensure that volunteering is embedded as a system wide NHS asset.
 
The team is responsible for developing and delivering the ‘learning and support’ and the ‘influencing and communications’ elements of the national programme, in partnership with NHS England and CW .

Learning and Evaluation

• Work in a way to embed learning and insight capture into business as usual.
• Commission and manage external consultants where appropriate, ensuring quality and alignment with project aims.
• Lead learning events, and convene stakeholders to support the capture of insight.
• Support in the development of insight and related policy positions in relation to initiatives being managed, working closely with policy colleagues to identify system gaps and potential solutions.
• Ensure projects contribute to learning, including supporting the dissemination of what works and how to scale successful approaches.

You’ll play a vital part in delivering our mission: tackling homelessness, widening opportunity and championing fairness. We’re looking for a proactive People Data & Systems Lead to strengthen our People, Organisation and Development (POD) function and help us deliver an exceptional employee experience.

In this role, you’ll turn People data into clear insights, enhance HR systems, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. You’ll lead on data integrity and governance, develop dashboards and KPIs, and provide high‑quality reporting that supports confident, evidence‑based decision‑making. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness.
