This Senior Marketing Executive role is perfect for an experienced marketing all-rounder who can apply their skills and knowledge to a range of fundraising products and initiatives that support Greenpeace’s mission to halve emissions and restore biodiversity.

Job requirements

You will achieve this by:

• Project managing a range of marketing and fundraising campaigns to drive income – from ideation and strategy through to implementation and evaluation.
• Applying marketing and fundraising principles to everything you do - e.g.. storytelling, audience-led product development, tailoring messaging to target audiences, designing engaging user journeys which help us acquire, retain and engage our supporters.
• Being adaptable and highly organised - allowing you to excel in a campaigning organisation where things change often.
• Collaborating effectively with a range of internal stakeholders - helping to engage and make the most of in-house expertise
• Analysing results - using data and insights to test and learn and iteratively improve campaign and fundraising performance.
• Championing anti-racist values – tailoring your approach to those with different perspectives, and helping Greenpeace to reach a broader more diverse audience.

We are looking to recruit an Associate with expertise in evaluating neurobiological pathways and de-risking therapeutic hypotheses to support the development of novel therapies for Parkinson’s. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNS pathophysiology and signalling and experience working across different therapeutic modalities, including ideally one or more of biologics, gene therapy or nucleotide therapy.

About the role

Parkinson’s Research Ventures aims to accelerate the development of new therapies for Parkinson’s, based on the needs and priorities of people living with Parkinson’s.  

In this role, you will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary  Parkinson’s Research Ventures team to scout for and evaluate new project proposals, manage our funded portfolio, and liaise with external partners and the Parkinson’s community.

What you’ll do

• Keep up to date with current Parkinson’s therapeutic research with views on current targets, modalities and mechanisms and identify new strategically relevant proposals for evaluation

• Evaluate target validation and pathway engagement and assess feasibility of potential Parkinson’s therapeutics. 

• Undertake broader scientific and technical due diligence to critically assess external project proposals

• Interact with people with Parkinson’s and involve them in projects in order to increase the opportunities to deliver new drugs that meet unmet medical needs

• Act as the contact on specific projects and work with external partners to ensure delivery against milestones. 

• Participate in joint steering committees and other advisory meetings, providing expert scientific and strategic insight

What you’ll bring

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., D.Phil.) in neuroscience, cell biology, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience in an academic, biotech or industry setting.

• A strong understanding of neurobiological signalling and how these are disrupted in disease, ideally Parkinson’s. 

• Expert knowledge of drug discovery principles and practices including experience of assay development and in vitro biochemical and cellular techniques. 

• Experience in relation to development of one or more modalities including biologics, gene therapy or nucleotide therapy for neuroscience indications is desired. 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information in suitable formats for scientific and lay audiences 

• Experience of project management and leadership skills, including cross-functional teams, from initiation to completion/review

Report to: Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering

Responsible for: Leading the food distribution service and quality assurance at Hackney Foodbank’s allocated Food Distribution Centres located across the borough of Hackney. This includes ensuring all our visitors have a positive experience when collecting their food parcels and are signposted to other provisions appropriately; being responsible for directing the volunteers, working closely with the Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering, Health and Safety, and promoting best practice at each centre. This role will also involve administrative tasks, organising and carrying out home deliveries for visitors, inputting data on visitors’ journeys accurately into a database, driving the Hackney Giving Van occasionally and regularly driving a Luton van to the various Distribution Centres.

Part-time: 25 hours per week, some evening work is required

Salary: £32,000 per year (pro-rata for 25 hours per week)

Compulsory: Must have a UK manual driving licence

Specific responsibilities:

· Attend Hackney Foodbank’s Food Distribution Centres to ensure each Centre is run in accordance with HFB’s best practice procedures.

An international membership organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to join on an interim basis for a 9-month contract. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding the organisation's financial health through high-quality financial management, business partnering, planning and analysis. This is a broad role offering exposure across management accounting, budgeting, financial modelling, payroll oversight, governance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Senior Finance & Risk Manager, you'll work closely with budget holders and senior leaders, providing financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making while helping to strengthen financial controls and improve organisational performance.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across the organisation.

Job Purpose:

WAGGGS is embarking on a once-in-a-generation capital investment programme to secure the long-term sustainability of its global property portfolio, including its iconic World Centres.

These centres are at the heart of the Movement - places where girls and young women from across the world come together to learn, lead, and build lifelong connections.

Over the next ten years, £5.9 million is required to protect, upgrade, and future-proof these spaces, ensuring they remain accessible, inclusive, and fit for the next generation.

A significant proportion of this funding (£3.75 million) will be raised through a global capital fundraising campaign. This project will coincide with WAGGGS Centenary in 2028 and is an amazing opportunity to amplify the moment.

This role will lead the initial scoping and feasibility phase of the campaign- testing assumptions, shaping a compelling case for support, and laying the foundations for a successful multi-year appeal. The consultant will assess readiness, define strategy, and provide clear recommendations on campaign viability, structure, and resourcing.

Subject to successful scoping and organisational readiness, there is potential for this role to transition into a longer-term position leading campaign delivery.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional with a track record of developing and delivering major fundraising strategies, ideally including capital campaigns, feasibility studies, or significant growth projects. You have experience securing high-value support from trusts, foundations, institutional funders, major donors, or other philanthropic partners, and understand how to build compelling cases for investment.

A strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills, you are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, assessing fundraising potential, and translating complex projects into clear, evidence-based recommendations. The Head of Youth Work & Delivery Partnerships will lead and manage a large team of Youth Workers while taking operational responsibility for WEST’s seven-day-a-week universal youth work offer.
