You may have thought that leprosy is an ancient Biblical disease, but today someone is diagnosed with leprosy every two minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Stigma and discrimination mean many people with leprosy hide their symptoms for as long as possible, living in terrible fear of what will happen to them. But without fast treatment, leprosy can cause blindness and disable hands and feet. Rejection, isolation, hopelessness. We believe that this is not how God wants people to live. This is a key leadership role within the CSA Centre, central to our ambition to raise awareness of the true scale and nature of sexual abuse and to drive evidence-informed improvements in policy and practice.

About the role:

The CSA Centre aims to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response, and effective internal and external communication is absolutely central to that mission.

Leading our Communications Team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering the CSA Centre's communication plans over the immediate and longer term, helping us to ensure that our evidence, learning and resources have the widest possible reach into policy and practice at both local and national level.

As Assistant Director, Communications, you will play a role tackling child sexual abuse alongside the work of our colleagues across practice, research, policy and training. This is important work - the CSA Centre conservatively estimates that one in ten children will experience some form of child sexual abuse before age of 16, and our ambitious programme seeks to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of professionals (social workers, teachers, social workers, nurses etc.) in identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. We have already made great progress, but there is much more to be done – and we need your leadership to help us do it!

CSA Centre roles are currently funded until 31 March 2026, in line with our current grant funding arrangements. This will be reviewed in late 2025, as future funding for the CSA Centre from 2026/27 onwards is confirmed.

Main duties and responsibilities

Strategy Implementation and Reporting:o Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with organisational

goals.

o Monitor and evaluate engagement initiatives, providing regular updates and

reports.

o Maintain accurate records of engagements and donor activities using internal

systems.

Prayer Mobilisation:

o Host regular prayer meetings (virtual or in-person) for the region.

o Disseminate prayer resources and stay updated on current prayer requests.

o Attend daily organisational devotions in-person or online, unless this is not possible

due to an event or meeting.

Awareness Raising:

o Speak at churches, schools, conferences, and community events to share

Barnabas Aid’s mission.

o Collaborate with churches and Christian networks to organise awareness events

and campaigns.

o Distribute resources and materials to inform communities about the persecuted

church and suffering Christians.

o Network widely and to explore potential partnerships.

Income Generation and Donations:

o Cultivate relationships with potential supporters and donors.

o Plan and execute regional fundraising initiatives, including events and campaigns.

o Encourage financial and other resource donations, ensuring effective donor

stewardship.

Volunteer Development and Engagement:

o Recruit (when possible) train, and mentor volunteers to support outreach activities

providing resources and regular communication.

o Coordinate volunteer activities to align with regional and organisational strategies.

Community Engagement and Networking:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders, mission committees,

and Christian organisations.

o Collaborate with other Regional Coordinators to share best practices and

coordinate efforts.

o Attend conferences and networking events to expand Barnabas Aid’s reach and

influence.

Event and International Collaboration:o Contribute to planning and attend national conferences, festivals, and events.

o Participate in international trips to meet project partners, witness project impact, to

assist or lead in auditing a project and share insights with supporters and

colleagues.

Operational Flexibility:

o Manage a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extensive travel.

o Ensure tasks are completed efficiently, including additional assignments as

needed.

Dartington Service Design Lab is a national charity that harnesses experience, cutting edge evidence and design to tackle the challenges children and young people face today, securing thriving futures for tomorrow. As we move forward with our refreshed strategy, we are looking for a new Director of Finance and Operations to join our Senior Leadership Team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the Lab’s operational heart; from finance and governance to people, culture, IT and compliance. You'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure our infrastructure is not only effective and efficient, but enabling of bold, systemic work across the UK. The role balances high level financial strategy and organisational leadership with routine financial reporting, oversight of day-to-day operations and actively supporting team wellbeing. It will suit someone confident operating strategically at an Executive and Board level, but who’s also comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a small, agile organisation.

We are seeking someone with significant experience in finance and operations leadership, ideally in a non-profit, consultancy or values driven setting, who is committed to equity, anti-racism, and social justice. An opportunity as arisen for an experienced marketing professional to join our team at Halton Haven Hospice.

The Hospice is looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead on developing our marketing strategy and to actively engage in running marketing campaigns both internally and externally at the hospice. • HOPE UK raises awareness and funds for street-connected children and slum–dwelling communities in Kolkata, India, supporting 60 projects (in education, protection, healthcare, vocational training) delivered by The Hope Kolkata Foundation.

KEY ROLE OBJECTIVES

• Grow and diversify the UK supporter base
• Create compelling content to drive engagement and support fundraising

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver engaging on-brand content across digital platforms (website, email, social media)
• Manage content calendar and campaigns to raise awareness of HOPE and support fundraising initiatives
• Monitor and manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to maximize audience engagement and growth
• Identify new opportunities (e.g. Influencers) and respond to comments as required (real-time)
• Produce newsletters (Mailchimp), manage segmentation and CRM (Beacon) integration with website
• Update and optimise HOPE UK website (Wordpress Elementor), apply SEO and integrate Google Ads.

• Proficient using Wordpress Page Builders, specifically Elementor
• Proficient in Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite or other scheduling tools

• Experience optimising UX on websites
• SEO and Google analytics knowledge and experience of managing Google Ads

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can develop and grow our income streams, including running successful events and campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and working closely with our community supporters and organisations.  You will jointly manage our fundraising team and support them to deliver targets, provide excellent stewardship and raise awareness of our work in the local community.

Demonstrable experience of event management and working with budgets and financial targets is essential, as is the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience of leading a team and managing volunteers would be desirable but not essential, however you must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly.

WMUK is looking for a passionate and experienced nurse to bring their specialist haematology expertise to our small but ambitious charity team.
You’ll have a background in caring for people living with blood cancer, and ideally, experience or knowledge of supporting those with Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia (WM).

As the only UK charity who solely focus on WM, we have big plans to expand and evolve our support services. Reporting to our Chief Nursing Officer, and working closely with our Community Support Navigator, you will play a central role in evolving and delivering a support programme that meets the clinical and holistic needs of WM patients, their families, and friends.

A key part to this role will be managing the UK’s only dedicated support line for people affected by WM. You’ll provide guidance, emotional support, and practical help to the 4,000 people living with WM and their loved ones – helping them understand their diagnosis, prepare for appointments, and ultimately feel empowered to live well with their condition.

You will also be leading the development and launch of The WMUK Support centre, an innovative new online service, bringing WM specialists together to offer tailored, holistic support across the UK.
