The Role
We are looking for an experienced, driven and creative Marketing and Events Manager who brings a genuine passion for fundraising and events — and the skills to match. This is not primarily a desk-based marketing role: you will be the engine behind our events programme and a key driver of our fundraising income.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the planning and delivery of CWC’s events calendar, manage our fundraising activities, and oversee the work of the Marketing and Events Officer. You will be equally comfortable developing the strategy and getting stuck into the detail of execution.
Events will be at the heart of what you do. You will take ownership of our flagship event, coordinate a varied programme of fundraising events, sector conferences and networking activities, and ensure every event is professionally delivered and leaves supporters feeling connected to our mission. You will manage relationships with venues, suppliers and sponsors, and keep a close eye on budgets and income targets.
Fundraising will be a core focus. You will be responsible for achieving financial targets from individual and corporate fundraising, developing creative campaigns across platforms such as Enthuse and JustGiving, and building the kind of relationships with supporters and partners that turn one-off donations into long-term engagement.
Alongside this, you will lead and support the Marketing and Events Officer, ensuring our marketing output — social media, newsletters, website content and campaigns — is consistent, engaging and aligned with our strategic goals.
About You
You will have a proven track record in events management and fundraising, ideally within the charity sector. You know what it takes to plan and deliver events from first concept through to post-event evaluation, and you understand how events can drive income as well as awareness.
You will be a confident, organised and proactive person who can manage competing priorities without losing sight of quality or deadlines. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and supporting others to manage theirs.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record in events management, with demonstrable experience of delivering fundraising income from events
- At least two years’ experience in a charity fundraising or events role
- Experience of line managing or supervising others
- Excellent relationship-building skills with sponsors, corporate partners and individual supporters
- Confidence using fundraising platforms (e.g. Enthuse, JustGiving) and CRM/database systems (Hubspot experience an advantage)
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, email marketing tools and website content management
- Experience managing budgets, monitoring income and expenditure, and reporting on financial performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for the charity’s mission and the people we support
Knowledge of the health and social care sector would be a distinct advantage, though not essential.

GFS is seeking a strategic, proactive and values-led Communications Manager to lead the delivery of our communications function and elevate our profile across audiences and platforms. The role will support the shaping and delivery of a communications strategy that amplifies our voice, showcases our impact, and builds trust and engagement with our community. The role
The Domestic Abuse Prevention All Risk Perpetrator Worker will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified through all levels of risk.
The purpose of this role is to move the perpetrator along the spectrum of awareness; acceptance of impact; desire to change; to voluntary engagement in behavioural change to end the cycle of abuse for children who are victims of domestic abuse.
The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will work with people on: awareness raising and developing motivation to change with people who recognise they are at risk of or are harming their partner (low risk), individual case management and group behavioural change programmes (standard and medium risk), intensive case management aimed at high harm and/or significant recidivist perpetrators. To do this, the Domestic Abuse Prevention worker will work closely with existing agencies as part of a co located multi agency approach.
The Domestic Abuse Prevention worker will work closely with the victim/survivor IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved.
The Prevention, Action and Support Team (PAST) provides an intensive case management service for individuals (all genders, 18+) identified by the police as high risk, high harm perpetrators of domestic abuse. The intervention lasts 8 – 16 weeks, (with potential extensions based on the duration of the perpetrators inclusion in the perpetrator panel cohort). Cases are referred through a police-led perpetrator panel (e.g., MATAC or DATAC).
PAST’s intensive case management approach balances support, accountability, and disruption to deliver tailored interventions that enhance victim safety, provide perpetrators with opportunity for change – while ensuring they are held accountable for their actions.
About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.
Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities.
You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, providing one-to-one and group support and advice, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client. You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person.
You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems.
Flexible and willing to work evenings, you can travel independently. Additionally, you will have an understanding of trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable.
Fluency in an additional language and skills in group work are also advantageous. You stay updated with best practices and new initiatives.

Young people aged 16-18 will be employed by The Skill Mill for 6-months, working in small cohorts of four, under the direct supervision of a dedicated Supervisor. As the Head of Business Development, you will provide strategic leadership and hands-on delivery to stabilise and strengthen the Trust’s business development approach. You will lead the end-to-end opportunity pipeline - from market intelligence and commissioner engagement through to bid development, governance and mobilisation handover - ensuring opportunities are aligned to strategy, deliver strong outcomes, and are financially viable.

Responsibilities include but are not exhaustive
- Provide visible interim leadership for the Trust’s business development function, setting clear priorities and ways of working, and coordinating contribution from service, operational, clinical and corporate colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a Trust-wide opportunity pipeline (tenders, frameworks, spot-purchase growth, strategic partnerships and other commissioned income routes), including qualification, prioritisation, and clear next steps.
- Lead proactive engagement with commissioners, local authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS partners and other stakeholders to understand demand, shape specifications where appropriate, and position the Trust effectively.
- Own the end-to-end bid process: establish bid plans, coordinate contributors, draft and quality-assure responses, and ensure submissions are compliant, persuasive, and submitted on time.
- Work with Finance and service leads to ensure all bids and proposals are underpinned by robust costing, pricing, risk assessment and contract terms review; ensure financial viability and appropriate approvals before submission.
- Create and embed a practical bid governance approach (stage-gates, templates, timelines and sign-off), so that bidding is consistent, efficient and auditable.
- Champion the Together Trust’s vision, mission and values, and role model the Trust’s behaviours.
- Commit to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in how opportunities are developed and how the Trust works with partners.
- Maintain a visible presence across Trust services and corporate teams, balancing hybrid working with on-site engagement as needed.
About You
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent senior leadership experience).
- Evidence of continuing professional development in leadership, commissioning, commercial practice or service transformation
- Significant senior experience in commissioning, business development, service development or strategic partnership working within a public service environment (e.g. local authority, NHS, education, social care, VCFSE).
- Proven track record of developing successful proposals, business cases, tenders or commissioning documentation - including coordinating multiple contributors to deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging credibly with senior commissioners and partners.
- Good understanding of public sector commissioning and procurement routes, including tendering, frameworks and contract governance.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding, quality and regulatory expectations when developing and mobilising services for children, young people and adults.
- Ability to analyse complex problems, identify options and recommend proportionate solutions.
- Full UK driving license with ability to travel across Together Trust locations and to partner/commissioner meetings as required.

Purpose of the role
To deliver the Day One Casework bedside model to patients, or those closest to them, impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences, such as disability or death, within Leeds General Infirmary Hospital, providing support on some of the wards (such as rehabilitation), on-site clinics and other settings (e.g. rehabilitation centres).

Key Responsibilites
The post holder’s primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Work closely, and in partnership, with NHS clinical staff and relevant community and voluntary sector organisations, to address the needs of patients, and those closest to them, affected by serious and life-changing injury.

Operate a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, putting support in place including signposting, making referrals and direct support.

Provide consistency in assessment of all patients and their loved ones, irrespective of injury cause, age, status, giving access to the earliest possible specialist legal advice which supports rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery.

Maintain detailed case records, including accurate records of activity and intervention, using Day One’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, capturing and storing data in line with Day One policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Contributing towards report writing through the writing case studies and narrative to support data collection.

Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports.

Deliver awareness raising presentations to clinical colleagues and departments.

Organise and facilitate outpatient and in person legal clinic drop-in sessions.

Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support.

Transactional Finance Operations Leadership
- Provide comprehensive oversight of banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, floats and reconciliations, ensuring processes are accurate, timely and compliant with internal controls.
Process Governance & Documentation
- Maintain well documented, up to date procedures across transactional activities, embedding best practice and ensuring consistent operational standards across the team.
Finance Systems & Statutory Compliance Support
- Manage finance systems used for transactional delivery, ensuring they support approvals, audit trails and compliance. Oversee statutory administrative obligations including accurate financial records and audit support.
Cashflow & Treasury Management
- Lead cashflow management and reporting, ensuring appropriate controls, monitoring and forecasting to support organisational decision-making and liquidity planning.
Payroll & Pensions Oversight
- Own payroll and pensions processing, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, postings and reconciliations, and strong governance through close collaboration with HR and Finance leadership.
FX & Multi Currency Transaction Management
- Lead currency and foreign payment operations, including FX monitoring, exposure analysis and execution, maintaining robust controls and documentation across all related activity.
Month End Preparedness & Control Assurance
- Ensure month end readiness through disciplined reconciliations, checks and variance reviews, while acting as a key approver for high risk or high value transactions to safeguard financial governance.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead, support and develop the transactional finance team, fostering expertise, accountability and service excellence. Drive ongoing improvements to systems, processes and controls, enhancing efficiency, automation and operational resilience.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience working in a busy finance environment with responsibility for operational or transactional finance activities.
- Strong understanding of end to end transactional processes, including payments, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, income processing, and floats management.
- Experience managing finance operations within an accounting or ERP system.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong experience using finance systems to support operational workflows, approvals and audit trails.
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence working with financial data, reconciliations and operational reporting.
- Demonstrable ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements to finance processes.
- Experience working with integrated systems and handling operational datasets.
Payroll, Pensions & Compliance
- Knowledge of payroll and pensions processing, including end to end administration, posting and reconciliation.
- Understanding of operational financial controls, statutory requirements and audit support processes.
Organisational & Operational Capability
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple operational deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Strong problem solving ability, with confidence investigating and resolving operational issues and queries independently and collaboratively.
