As part of this growth, we have re-imagined our Principal Gifts team and are pleased to present 3 positions to join us.

As a Principal Gifts Lead you will be part of a team that is responsible for building deep and meaningful relationships with donors and prospective supporters who have the potential to transform the future and impact of UCL. Focusing on cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a mixed portfolio of prospects with the capacity to give at the £5m+ level, these positions offer an opportunity for ambitious and experienced high-value fundraising professionals to help drive UCL’s principal giving programme forward.

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of our fundraising and engagement activities, working with key colleagues and stakeholders across the University as well as with a mission-critical senior volunteer network around the world.  To be successful, you therefore need to bring well-rounded knowledge of best-in-class principal gifts fundraising, and a demonstrable track record of directly soliciting or orchestrating the successful cultivation of seven-figure philanthropic gifts for the organisations and causes you’ve represented. 

With highly developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, and a creative and goal-orientated approach, you know how to build longstanding partnerships that help multiple stakeholders realise their ambitions.  You enjoy playing the different roles in fundraising, and know how to gauge what is most appropriate – the driver or the navigator, the broker or the facilitator – as you are motivated by achieving transformative outcomes that matter.  In return, you will join a team of passionate individuals who work together to achieve remarkable things with a global impact.

Employment Specialists play a crucial role in service integration, promoting IPS, and nurturing relationships with treatment service staff.

• Managing a small caseload, undergoing structured substance use treatment, facilitating their motivation for work.
• Implementing the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) methodology, providing necessary training.
• Engaging clients to identify work skills, goals, and aspirations, and developing tailored job search plans.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across the organisation covering recruitment, onboarding, training, and support for performance management and employee relations.  It includes managing volunteer processes and working closely with both internal managers and external HR and training providers.

Job Title: Employment Consultant (South Central England – covering Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Avon, Oxfordshire)

At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans with health conditions to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. This often means overcoming significant barrier to employment. As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the region back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. You will also work alongside professionals in other services such as health or welfare to ensure that the veterans have access to all the support they need to overcome barriers to gain and retain employment.

Role Overview: Fundraising and Operations Director

The successful candidate will lead RLS’s income generation through our next phase of development. You’ll oversee our relationships with key funders, individual giving, our approach to major donors and our communications. You’ll work closely with the Management Team and trustees to set and implement fundraising strategy and highlight and manage risk.

As a member of the Management Team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the organisation, with involvement in decisions from strategy to HR, project design and many other aspects of our work.

Core Responsibilities:

Fundraising strategy and development 

• Lead the development and delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy to meet our funding targets and deliver our strategy.
• Meaningfully involve and guide the Management Team, trustees and Fundraising Officer in strategy development and delivery. 
• Develop new funding sources as appropriate.
• Ensure that funding sources fit with RLS’s values and our moral and ethical fundraising policy.

Organisational leadership 

• Work with the Management Team and trustees to lead on the delivery of RLS’s strategic objectives.
• Work with the Management Team to lead RLS, including finding creative solutions to issues as they arise and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.
• Foster a supportive work environment that’s true to RLS’s values.

Lead on funder relationships 

• Develop and cultivate relationships with potential funders.

Representing RLS and occasional travel

• Occasional travel, potentially including international travel. 

Line management 

• Provide high quality line management to the Fundraising Officer.
• In future, there may be other line management responsibilities as RLS’s staff changes to meet our new strategy. 

Person Specification

• Senior leadership experience in income generation 
• Proven success in securing significant, multi-source funding, including trusts and foundations.

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified advocate to join our team, delivering Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) and NHS Complaints Advocacy (NHS CAS) for residents of Havering. This role is about much more than casework—it’s about empowering people to understand their rights, have their voices heard, and influence decisions that shape their lives. We are recruiting a Community Organiser (maternity cover) to join our team, working with people who have experienced poverty and homelessness because they have no recourse to public funds. The postholder will develop, support and facilitate United Impact, a group of Project 17 clients and former clients building solidarity and creating strategic change in line with Project 17’s broad aims.

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead our Street Navigator Service in Birmingham. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently, and possess excellent organisational skills. You should have experience of supervising workers, and you will also need to demonstrate experience and/or related skills in relation to enhancing services, ideally using innovative and collaborative approaches.

The is a particularly exciting time to join the team as this is a newly acquired service in implementation phase. You will therefore have the opportunity to design and lead on the new service, really putting your mark on it.  

The Birmingham Street Navigator Service works with Birmingham citizens (single adults and/or couples 25 years old or above) with accommodation that are outdoors engaging in ‘street activity’ e.g. rough sleeping, begging, street drinking/drug using and other ‘social activities’. We provide intensive, wraparound support to help citizens back into their accommodation, reducing their level of street-based activity and associated anti-social behaviour, with the overall aim of reintegrating citizens into their local communities and reducing their reliance on the streets.

You will lead a team of Street Navigators working within a local multi-agency network, including outreach services, Community Safety teams, local BID teams, commissioned/non-commissioned accommodation providers, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police.

It is important that the service is available to our citizens when it is needed. Therefore, the team may be required to work outside of the conventional working week. Therefore as Team Leader, there may be occasional need to work evenings, weekends and on bank holidays.
