Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.
Herts Young Homeless (hyh) are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic youth engagement worker to join our charity. hyh's strategic aim is to 'Be More Youth Led' and this role is crucial in supporting that commitment. The right candidate will be fun, open-minded, tech savvy and enjoy working using their own initiative. They will be passionate about youth engagement and motivated to translate youth ideas into actionable plans for the charity.

This role will facilitate a variety of fun and meaningful engagement opportunities for young people to have a voice on decisions that affect them. The youth engagement worker will have the opportunity to inform, develop and grow our youth engagement offer; if successful this may lead to professional development opportunities such as line management of volunteers and staff.
What can you bring to the team?
- Candidates Must have a full clean driving license and use of own vehicle for business purposes
- Co-facilitate annual ‘Youth Summits’; consulting young people from across the county on issues related to the charity/youth homelessness.
- Launch and facilitate a youth advisory board (online and in person). Act as an advocate to deliver key youth board messages to our leadership team and board.
- Co-ordinate work experience and apprenticeship opportunities for young people.
- Organise and co-facilitate social events for our young people.
- Support our young housemates in completing ASDAN qualifications.
- Support the content of our digital communication to young people.
- Complete relevant data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of youth engagement work.
- Ensure youth engagement and coproduction is considered at all levels of the organisation to ensure decision making is youth informed where appropriate.
- Develop new an innovative ways of involving hyh services users in shaping our services and coproducing our work.
- Ensure good ‘youth voice’ communication across all hyh services, providing updates at service team meetings.
- Co-ordinate young people’s involvement in staff recruitment, training and induction

Job Purpose:
- Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
- Have day to day responsibility for the Individual Giving income stream
- Manage a portfolio of existing Individual Giving supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors.

About the role

Job purpose
This is a pivotal senior administration role in a charity that is passionate about making a difference to the veterinary care that animals receive. You’ll be working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, with the trustee board and with all members of the staff team of about 20 people. - Organise in-person and virtual trustees meeting as well as other governance meetings as required

We are an agile social enterprise looking for a qualified Finance Manager to manage and operate our existing finance function. Working flexibly from home, you will perform a core role in our small, friendly virtual team helping to maintain financial stability and control as we focus on our mission to deliver successful projects across a range of settings globally. This is an exciting time to join our innovative carers service. We are in a position to grow the current support offered and develop other ways of supporting carers across Hertfordshire.
The Carers Coordinator is an integral role within Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) and to the future development of the service. Using the ethos and values of peer support, the post holder will support carers in an empathetic, safe, respectful and empowering way; using their lived experience to bring hope.

Key Responsibilities
- To recruit, train and support a team of volunteers to provide 1-1 support and group support
- Arrange regular 1-1 and group support via Teams for volunteers
- To work within the model of peer support to help unpaid carers to discuss common experiences and to establish and maintain relationships built on trust
- To work with the Service Manager to assist in the planning, organisation and development of the Carers service
- To work closely with the Volunteer Team around the volunteer recruitment process and Volunteer Selection Training
- Ensure volunteers are aware of all training opportunities
- Attend training, supervision sessions and appraisals as required
- Act as a positive role model for unpaid carers

The Liberal Jewish Synagogue’s Drop-In for Asylum Seeker Families was established in June 2014.
Opening one Sunday afternoon each month, we welcome families with children under the age of sixteen who are applying for asylum in the UK. We provide a warm and welcoming space for our guests and give money or vouchers, advice, clothing, food and toiletries. We invite hundreds of people into the synagogue, and the Project Co-ordinator is expected to manage the logistics of this.
Our volunteers are experienced and loyal, all having a particular interest in assisting asylum seekers and refugees. The project is interfaith, and we encourage applications from within the LJS community and beyond.
We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator. This is currently a part-time post 20-25 hours per week, with a degree of flexibility as to when these hours are worked. The hours include working one weekend per month: setting up the Drop-in on the Saturday (after the Shabbat morning service), and running the Drop-in on the Sunday. Attending Steering Group Meetings (currently on ‘Zoom’) is also a requirement on a weekday evening 4-6 times per annum.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Maintaining a safe and secure register of our guests and checking eligibility criteria
· Reviewing guests’ documentation
· Referring guests to other services where appropriate
· Answering emails from prospective guests and maintaining a ‘Waiting List’
· Inviting guests to the Drop-In by text/email as appropriate
· Preparing lists of guests attending; clearly showing their financial entitlements on the day
· Liaising with the three Volunteer Co-ordinators on a regular basis
· Interviewing new volunteers, and advertising the project beyond the scope of the synagogue
· Responding to enquiries (via telephone /email) relating to the Drop-In from various parties
· Checking that Security Guard/s are hired appropriately

I'm excited to be working with Drinkaware to find them a temporary Digital Marketing Manager. This is purely a technical role, with a focus on SEO, PPC marketing, Grants Pro and Google Analytics 4. You must be a GA4 expert, it is essential for this temporary cover. You will have solid digital marketing delivery skills and work collaboratively with the digital and marketing teams to increase website traffic and drive Drinking Check completions. Working in a close-knit team, you will be Drinkaware's GA4 expert, able to provide data and insights as required, and be an excellent team player who is able to articulate the technical jargon in basic terms.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement an impactful SEO strategy that meets the organisational objectives
- Together with the Content Lead and Web Product Owner, ensure SEO best practice and strong keyword research is at the heart of Drinkaware's digital marketing activities.

- Lead on GA4 and other measurement tools; maintain marketing reporting dashboards.
