About the role

In this role, you’ll use your quality improvement expertise to support health & care professionals with projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s.

You’ll support the development of a vibrant national network, working in collaboration with the Professional Engagement team and the regional clinical leads. You’ll also work with health and care professionals and Parkinson’s UK colleagues to respond to any threats to Parkinson's services and effect positive change.

What you’ll do

• Facilitate health and care service redesign and improvement projects in collaboration with clinicians, Parkinson’s UK staff and people living with Parkinson’s and drawing on the principles of co-production

• Build relationships to influence service improvement across the Midlands region, and support the development of a vibrant national network

• Maximise participation in the UK Parkinson's Audit and relevant surveys

• Support health & care services to develop and implement service improvement plans, using the results of the UK Parkinson's Audit as a lever

• Promote the Excellence network funding opportunities, providing support where appropriate with the development of business cases and grant applications

What you’ll bring

• Experience and expertise in service redesign and effecting change within health and/or social care in the Midlands Region

• Knowledge of health and care structures and commissioning across the Midlands Region

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior clinicians

• Ability to negotiate and influence, with strong report writing and presentation skills 

• Experience in the use of quality improvement and project management tools

This role is home based with the requirement to live within and travel around your assigned geography. The assigned geography for the region covers the NHS England Midlands region.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer (Acquisition) to join our collaborative Individual Giving team.

As an Individual Giving Officer, you’ll lead the delivery of multi-channel campaigns designed to recruit new supporters and the ongoing supporter stewardship of these new donors. You’ll manage acquisition activity across products including cash giving, lottery, and regular giving, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance targets.

You’ll be responsible for the creative development of campaign assets, day-to-day agency collaboration, and the ongoing optimisation of supporter stewardship communications. From planning and reporting to evaluating impact, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we acquire new donors and retain our supporters.

About You

You’re confident in managing campaigns with track record of delivering successful multi-channel fundraising campaigns that drive supporter growth. You bring excellent project and budget management skills, analytical thinking, strong reporting and evaluation capabilities and think supporter-first.

You’re experienced in working across channels including email, social media, telephone fundraising and print, and you know how to use insight to shape compelling supporter journeys. You’re a collaborative team member, able to manage internal stakeholders and external suppliers with ease, and you thrive in an environment where attention to detail and strategic focus are key.

As ISWAN’s Head of Helpline Services, you will be responsible for the strategic development, account management and evaluation of all ISWAN helpline services.  

We have no preconceptions about where the successful applicant will come from but you will bring experience of managing multi-channelled helpline operations and best practice as well as planning, measuring and delivering user and client service improvements.

You will need to be capable of working effectively within a complex international context and have sound experience of service development. This is a part-time role (21 hours per week) but we are keen to find the right person and therefore happy to discuss flexible working patterns. We are flexible about where the role is based but you will be managing helpline operations in the UK, India and the Philippines so you will need to be a great team player.

As Head of Legal, Risk and Assurance, you'll lead three critical disciplines that form the backbone of trust, safety, and risk-informed decision-making at Alzheimer's Society. The charity supports people bereaved by gambling-related suicide, raises awareness of the devastating consequences of gambling disorder, and works to prevent gambling-related suicide. They are now recruiting for a Specialist Family Support Manager, a pivotal position for the organisation that will deliver evidence-based therapeutic support for bereaved families. This is a permanent, full-time role that will be based remotely (although travel will often be required due to service needs). Please note, you must hold a clinical qualification in a relevant therapeutic discipline to be considered.

As Specialist Family Support Manager, you will work as part of a dedicated, tight-knit team, delivering tailored, therapeutic interventions to families bereaved by gambling-related suicide. You will build consistent, compassionate relationships with families, supporting them to navigate investigations, inquests or research processes linked to gambling harms, ensuring they feel informed, represented and supported. You will ensure that all clinical practice adheres to safeguarding, risk management and professional standards, maintaining accurate and confidential records. You will also work across the wider organisation, providing clinical input into the design of training modules (including training for NHS clinicians and social care professionals) to raise awareness of gambling-related suicide.

To apply for this incredibly impactful position, you must have a clinical qualification in a relevant therapeutic discipline as well as post-qualification experience. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering therapeutic interventions with individuals and families affected by bereavement, addiction or mental health issues. You will have experience of assessing needs, developing support plans and managing risk/safeguarding effectively, and will be comfortable working autonomously within a small team/organisation. Experience of designing/delivering training for professionals is desirable.

We are working in partnership with Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping nearly 600 families with support, education, and research services, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.

They are now seeking a Head of Family Services, a newly created senior role to enable DSUK to drive forward with the implementation of their five-year strategic plan, including supporting and empowering families to access the support to which they are entitled in living with a complex and life limiting condition.

You will have demonstrable expertise and advanced training all aspects of safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults. You have proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues towards achieving shared goals.
