This is a new role within the Diocese of London, supporting the Head of Racial Justice Priority in delivering the Diocese’s Racial Justice strategy. The Programmes Officer will play an integral part in the Employability team to help deliver on these initiatives and the long-term aims of the organisation. Main duties

• Onboarding of new cohorts of students for our Pathways Online and Access Apprenticeships Programmes

• Delivering both online and in-person events for students across the programmes. Duties include presenting activities, organising logistics, providing technical support, and encouraging student engagement

• Be the main point of contact for students on the programme. Including leading on student comms (newsletter and info packs), responding to student enquiries and building relationships with beneficiaries to ensure that we are provide tailored and impactful support.

• Using student data to monitor engagement and develop strategies to enhance engagement and participation

Role description:

parkrun is looking for a Data Protection Officer to ensure that parkrun processes personal data in a lawful, transparent and secure manner and maintains compliance with applicable data protection laws across the global parkrun movement.

Reporting to the Global Head of Legal and Governance, this role will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining effective and compliant data protection processes and promoting good practices across the parkrun global movement. The role will sit within a small Legal and Governance team and provide day-to-day assistance and practical, solution-focused advice across the organisation. 

The Data Protection Officer will act independently in carrying out their statutory responsibilities under applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, and will play a key role in embedding a strong culture of data protection and responsible data use across parkrun’s global operations.

A key focus of the role will be working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to build understanding of data protection requirements, deliver effective training and guidance, and support colleagues to take a practical and pragmatic approach to managing data protection risks in their work.

Main responsibilities:

The Data Protection Officer will support data protection and privacy compliance across the parkrun global movement, including responsibility for the following:

• Acting as parkrun’s Data Protection Officer under applicable data protection legislation, advising the organisation on its legal obligations and monitoring compliance with relevant data protection laws and principles

• Developing, reviewing and maintaining data protection policies, procedures and guidelines for the parkrun global movement

• Monitoring the organisation’s compliance with data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and providing quarterly reports to the Board Governance and Risk Sub-Committee

• Supporting teams in carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and embedding privacy into projects, partnerships and new initiatives

• Developing and maintaining key compliance documentation including a Record of Processing Activities (ROPA)

• Leading the Data Governance Group and developing/progressing the organisation’s Data Protection Action Plan

• Advising on international data transfers and cross-border data protection considerations across the parkrun global movement

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 70 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.

The role

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Membership Operations Manager to play a key role in delivering an excellent member experience and supporting organisational sustainability.

Reporting to the Head of Membership, this role is central to ensuring high-quality membership operations, including accurate data management, subscription collection, and continuous process improvement. Working collaboratively across Finance, Digital, Content, and Communications, the postholder will help maintain smooth day-to-day operations while contributing valuable operational insight to future planning and development.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly organised operations professional with a strong background in membership or customer operations, ideally within a complex or high-volume environment. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), payment processes, operational governance and data protection/GDPR, alongside proven experience of improving systems, workflows and cyclical operational processes.

With strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence using digital tools, they will be able to interpret data, identify opportunities for improvement and manage priorities effectively. A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach is essential, along with a clear commitment to excellent member experience, equality and diversity and the charitable aims of the RCSLT.

Job Purpose

What is the Worker-led Transition project?

The Worker-led Transition project is a collaboration between NEON and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) that aims to future-proof manufacturing jobs, accelerate climate action and push back against far-right politics in industrial communities.

The TUC estimates that the future of up to 800,000 jobs in the UK (in sectors like chemicals, automotive, steel, ceramics, their supply chains and more) depend on timely planning and investment in industry to meet the needs of a decarbonised economy. Our project supports workers in high-carbon manufacturing industries to plan for a sustainable future for their workplaces (e.g. making green steel or zero-emissions vehicles), builds alignment across the climate movement in support of a worker-led transition, and counters far-right politics in industrial communities by advancing a vision for a socially just climate transition that protects and creates well-paid, unionised jobs in the clean industries of the future. 

Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to support NEON’s work to build organising capacity in UK social movements, with a focus on NEON’s Worker-led Transition project. You will:

• Build support for a worker-led transition in the climate movement and industrial communities, with an emphasis on local and regional coalition and capacity-building in key industrial regions, as well as strengthening relationships with the trade union movement and industrial workers.
• Provide responsive support to movement organisations when they need it most, offering strategic and organising support and advice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Play a key role in the delivery of NEON’s movement building and organising work for the Worker-led Transition project, by strengthening relationships between the climate movement and trade union movements, and training and supporting local groups and community members to organise and campaign in support of a worker-led transition and a sustainable future for communities in key industrial regions:
   • This will involve visits to industrial sites and communities across England and Wales
2. Co-design and deliver events and trainings, where climate activists and trade union organisers and members can build relationships, strategise and plan joint action to deliver a worker-led transition
3. Collaborate with TUC staff to ensure coordinated and effective action in support of a worker-led transition
4. Work with colleagues in the Movement Building Hub to develop strategy, and join up our organising work across programmes
5. Play an active part in the whole NEON team and the Movement Building Hub Team, contributing to organisation-wide plans, including providing facilitation support for other NEON programmes as and when requested.

Who you are

The Senior Manager, Policy & Campaigns will be central to this mission, leading the development of policy positions and research that strengthens Mission 44’s ability to influence decision-makers and shape public discourse.

Mission 44’s impact model brings together strategic investment (through grantmaking) and targeted influence to drive systemic change. The Senior Manager will work closely with grantmaking teams to ensure that insight from funded work is embedded in policy and research, while also feeding learning and evidence back into funding strategies to strengthen decision-making and maximise impact.

The role will lead the development of policy recommendations, commission and translate research into clear, actionable outputs, and collaborate with internal teams and partners to align policy priorities with wider organisational objectives and maximise influence.

The role also plays a critical role in advocacy and external engagement, ensuring Mission 44’s voice is present in key policy moments, supporting strategic campaigns, and connecting research and insight to high-impact opportunities that drive political attention and sustained change at a national and global level.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

POLICY

• Lead the development and delivery of Mission 44’s policy strategy, aligned to organisational priorities and focused on driving systemic change for young people
• Develop clear, evidence-based policy positions and recommendations that influence government, civil society, the education sector and key decision-makers
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with policymakers, advisors, think tanks, academics, and sector leaders to strengthen Mission 44’s influence
• Identify and shape opportunities to influence policy agendas, consultations and legislative processes at national and global levels
• Work cross-functionally to align policy priorities with external engagement and advocacy activity
• Monitor and analyse political and policy developments across relevant landscapes, leading on timely evidence-led responses and providing strategic insight and recommendations
• Track and evaluate the impact of policy and advocacy activity, using insights to refine strategy and approach
• Account manage Mission 44’s external policy and research partners and consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for money

CAMPAIGNS

• Support the design and delivery of integrated advocacy campaigns that connect policy, research and storytelling to drive political attention and action

• Work closely with partners and young people to co-create campaigns, ensuring their voices and experiences shape campaign priorities, policy recommendations and delivery approaches
• Work cross-functionally with communications and partnerships teams to maximise influence
• Identify and leverage key moments, partnerships and platforms to elevate Mission 44’s voice and policy agenda
• Contribute to campaign messaging and narratives that translate policy positions into compelling calls to action for target audiences

RESEARCH

• Commission and oversee high-quality research, ensuring outputs are rigorous, relevant, and actionable
• Translate complex research and data into compelling policy briefs, reports, and insight-driven narratives to support advocacy and influence

• Ensure all policy and research outputs are accessible, inclusive and reflect the lived experiences of young people

ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL 

• Strong experience in policy development with a track record of influencing decision-makers
• Experience shaping or contributing to successful community-led movements, advocacy campaigns or policy change initiatives
• Deep understanding of political and policy-making processes, ideally in education, employment, social justice, or youth-focused areas
• Experience in participatory and youth-centred research approaches, including co-creation with young people and gathering insight through polling, perception studies and stakeholder engagement - alongside more traditional research methods
• Ability to translate complex research and evidence into clear, persuasive policy recommendations and narratives
• Proven experience building and managing senior stakeholder relationships across government, civil society, education, employment and/or youth sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including producing high-quality briefings, reports and consultation responses
• Experience leading projects and managing external partners 
• Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and act on opportunities to influence policy agendas

DESIRABLE

• Experience working in or with government, think tanks, charities or advocacy organisations
• Experience in working with young people to create campaigns or advocacy initiatives
• Knowledge of UK and/or international policy landscapes relevant to Mission 44’s focus areas
• Familiarity with youth engagement approaches and/or incorporating lived experience into policy development
• Experience working with high-profile stakeholders
• Understanding of media and communications as a tool for policy influence

The East End of London has experienced exceptional economic growth, but unfortunately the immense wealth and opportunity in places like Canary Wharf and the City continues to sit alongside some of the most deprived parts of the country. Through our grant-making programmes across Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham and the City of London we aim to address poverty and tackle inequality. In 2025/26 we distributed over £1.4m in grants, and we intend to increase our grant making year on year to provide greater and longer-term support so we can continue to make a difference to the lives of local people by supporting vital community-based projects.

EECF is at the forefront of place-based giving with our Life Chances campaign bringing together stakeholders across voluntary, commercial, and statutory sectors to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in our society – children and young people and pensioners. Our Youth Advisory group places decision-making in the hands of local young people, and we aim to increase our participatory grant making over the coming year, engaging a wider group of residents. In 2026, we will be launching new funds supporting women and girls’ initiatives, young care leavers, and tackling digital inequality.   

We are looking for a committed individual with knowledge of the local area to join the Grants and Programmes Team. The Grants and Projects administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the successful distribution of grants to voluntary and community sector groups and our events convening residents, donors and grantholders.

The ideal candidate will be highly efficient with experience of working in a busy environment, have excellent customer service and IT skills combined with a proactive, problem-solving approach. No previous grant-making experience is required, and full training in our systems and database will be provided. You will be joining a small, committed team and undertaking a wide variety of tasks. You should be a team player with energy and enthusiasm as well as an understanding and passion for the local community.
